Corinthians Chapter 4
Therefore seeing we have this ministryas we have receivedmercywe faint not
But have renounced the hidden things of dishonestynotwalking in craftinessnor handling the word of Goddeceitfullybut by manifestation of the truth commendingourselves to every man s conscience in the sight of God.
But if our gospel be hidit is hid to them that are lost
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of themwhich believe notlest the light of the glorious gospel ofChristwho is the image of Godshould shine unto them.
For we preach not ourselvesbut Christ Jesus the Lordandourselves your servants for Jesussake.
For Godwho commanded the light to shine out of darkness hath shined in our heartsto give the light of the knowledgeof the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
But we have this treasure in earthen vesselsthat theexcellency of the power may be of Godand not of us.
We are troubled on every sideyet not distressedwe areperplexedbut not in despair
Persecutedbut not forsakencast downbut not destroyed
Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesusthat the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in ourbody.
For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesussakethat the life also of Jesus might be made manifest inour mortal flesh.
So then death worketh in usbut life in you.
We having the same spirit of faithaccording as it iswrittenI believedand therefore have I spokenwe alsobelieveand therefore speak
Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise upus also by Jesusand shall present us with you.
For all things are for your sakesthat the abundant gracemight through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory ofGod.
For which cause we faint notbut though our outward manperishyet the inward man is renewed day by day.
For our light afflictionwhich is but for a momentworkethfor us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory
While we look not at the things which are seenbut at thethings which are not seenfor the things which are seen aretemporalbut the things which are not seen are eternal.
