Corinthians Chapter 7

Having therefore these promisesdearly belovedlet uscleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Receive uswe have wronged no manwe have corrupted no manwe have defrauded no man.

I speak not this to condemn youfor I have said beforethatye are in our hearts to die and live with you.

Great is my boldness of speech toward yougreat is myglorying of youI am filled with comfortI am exceedingjoyful in all our tribulation.

Forwhen we were come into Macedoniaour flesh had no restbut we were troubled on every sidewithout were fightingswithin were fears.

Nevertheless Godthat comforteth those that are cast down comforted us by the coming of Titus

And not by his coming onlybut by the consolation wherewithhe was comforted in youwhen he told us your earnest desire your mourningyour fervent mind toward meso that I rejoicedthe more.

For though I made you sorry with a letterI do not repentthough I did repentfor I perceive that the same epistle hathmade you sorrythough it were but for a season.

Now I rejoicenot that ye were made sorrybut that yesorrowed to repentancefor ye were made sorry after a godlymannerthat ye might receive damage by us in nothing.

For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to berepented ofbut the sorrow of the world worketh death.

For behold this selfsame thingthat ye sorrowed after a godlysortwhat carefulness it wrought in youyeawhat clearingof yourselvesyeawhat indignationyeawhat fearyea what vehement desireyeawhat zealyeawhat revengeInall things ye have approved yourselves to be clear in thismatter.

Whereforethough I wrote unto youI did it not for his causethat had done the wrongnor for his cause that sufferedwrongbut that our care for you in the sight of God mightappear unto you.

Therefore we were comforted in your comfortyeaandexceedingly the more joyed we for the joy of Titusbecausehis spirit was refreshed by you all.

For if I have boasted any thing to him of youI am notashamedbut as we spake all things to you in trutheven soour boastingwhich I made before Titusis found a truth.

And his inward affection is more abundant toward youwhilsthe remembereth the obedience of you allhow with fear andtrembling ye received him.

I rejoice therefore that I have confidence in you in allthings.
