Philippians Chapter 2

If there be therefore any consolation in Christif anycomfort of loveif any fellowship of the Spiritif anybowels and mercies

Fulfil ye my joythat ye be likemindedhaving the same love being of one accordof one mind.

Let nothing be done through strife or vainglorybut inlowliness of mind let each esteem other better thanthemselves.

Look not every man on his own thingsbut every man also onthe things of others.

Let this mind be in youwhich was also in Christ Jesus

Whobeing in the form of Godthought it not robbery to beequal with God

But made himself of no reputationand took upon him the formof a servantand was made in the likeness of men

And being found in fashion as a manhe humbled himselfandbecame obedient unto deatheven the death of the cross.

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted himand given him aname which is above every name

That at the name of Jesus every knee should bowof things inheavenand things in earthand things under the earth

And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ isLordto the glory of God the Father.

Whereforemy belovedas ye have always obeyednot as in mypresence onlybut now much more in my absencework out yourown salvation with fear and trembling.

For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do ofhis good pleasure.

Do all things without murmurings and disputings

That ye may be blameless and harmlessthe sons of Godwithout rebukein the midst of a crooked and perverse nationamong whom ye shine as lights in the world

Holding forth the word of lifethat I may rejoice in the dayof Christthat I have not run in vainneither laboured invain.

Yeaand if I be offered upon the sacrifice and service ofyour faithI joyand rejoice with you all.

For the same cause also do ye joyand rejoice with me.

But I trust in the Lord Jesus to send Timotheus shortly untoyouthat I also may be of good comfortwhen I know yourstate.

For I have no man likemindedwho will naturally care for yourstate.

For all seek their ownnot the things which are JesusChrist s.

But ye know the proof of himthatas a son with the fatherhe hath served with me in the gospel.

Him therefore I hope to send presentlyso soon as I shall seehow it will go with me.

But I trust in the Lord that I also myself shall come shortly.

Yet I supposed it necessary to send to you Epaphroditusmybrotherand companion in labourand fellowsoldierbut yourmessengerand he that ministered to my wants.

For he longed after you alland was full of heaviness because that ye had heard that he had been sick.

For indeed he was sick nigh unto deathbut God had mercy onhimand not on him onlybut on me alsolest I should havesorrow upon sorrow.

I sent him therefore the more carefullythatwhen ye see himagainye may rejoiceand that I may be the less sorrowful.

Receive him therefore in the Lord with all gladnessand holdsuch in reputation

Because for the work of Christ he was nigh unto deathnotregarding his lifeto supply your lack of service toward me.
