Philippians Chapter 3
1 Finallymy brethrenrejoice in the Lord. To write the samethings to youto me indeed is not grievousbut for you it issafe.
2 Beware of dogsbeware of evil workersbeware of theconcision.
3 For we are the circumcisionwhich worship God in the spiritand rejoice in Christ Jesusand have no confidence in theflesh.
4 Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any otherman thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the fleshI more
5 Circumcised the eighth dayof the stock of Israelof thetribe of Benjaminan Hebrew of the Hebrewsas touching thelawa Pharisee
6 Concerning zealpersecuting the churchtouching therighteousness which is in the lawblameless.
7 But what things were gain to methose I counted loss forChrist.
8 Yea doubtlessand I count all things but loss for theexcellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lordfor whomI have suffered the loss of all thingsand do count them butdungthat I may win Christ
9 And be found in himnot having mine own righteousnesswhichis of the lawbut that which is through the faith of Christthe righteousness which is of God by faith
10 That I may know himand the power of his resurrectionandthe fellowship of his sufferingsbeing made conformable untohis death
11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of thedead.
12 Not as though I had already attainedeither were alreadyperfectbut I follow afterif that I may apprehend that forwhich also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.
13 BrethrenI count not myself to have apprehendedbut this onething I doforgetting those things which are behindandreaching forth unto those things which are before
14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling ofGod in Christ Jesus.
15 Let us thereforeas many as be perfectbe thus mindedandif in any thing ye be otherwise mindedGod shall reveal eventhis unto you.
16 Neverthelesswhereto we have already attainedlet us walk bythe same rulelet us mind the same thing.
17 Brethrenbe followers together of meand mark them whichwalk so as ye have us for an ensample.
18For many walkof whom I have told you oftenand now tellyou even weepingthat they are the enemies of the cross ofChrist
19 Whose end is destructionwhose God is their bellyand whoseglory is in their shamewho mind earthly things.
20 For our conversation is in heavenfrom whence also we lookfor the Saviourthe Lord Jesus Christ
21 Who shall change our vile bodythat it may be fashioned likeunto his glorious bodyaccording to the working whereby he isable even to subdue all things unto himself.
