Colossians Chapter 2

For I would that ye knew what great conflict I have for you and for them at Laodiceaand for as many as have not seen myface in the flesh

That their hearts might be comfortedbeing knit together inloveand unto all riches of the full assurance ofunderstandingto the acknowledgement of the mystery of God and of the Fatherand of Christ

In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

And this I saylest any man should beguile you with enticingwords.

For though I be absent in the fleshyet am I with you in thespiritjoying and beholding your orderand the stedfastnessof your faith in Christ.

As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lordso walkye in him

Rooted and built up in himand stablished in the faithas yehave been taughtabounding therein with thanksgiving.

Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vaindeceitafter the tradition of menafter the rudiments of theworldand not after Christ.

For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

And ye are complete in himwhich is the head of allprincipality and power

In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision madewithout handsin putting off the body of the sins of theflesh by the circumcision of Christ

Buried with him in baptismwherein also ye are risen with himthrough the faith of the operation of Godwho hath raised himfrom the dead.

And youbeing dead in your sins and the uncircumcision ofyour fleshhath he quickened together with himhavingforgiven you all trespasses

Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was againstuswhich was contrary to usand took it out of the waynailing it to his cross

And having spoiled principalities and powershe made a shewof them openlytriumphing over them in it.

Let no man therefore judge you in meator in drinkor inrespect of an holydayor of the new moonor of the sabbathdays

Which are a shadow of things to comebut the body is ofChrist.

Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humilityand worshipping of angelsintruding into those things whichhe hath not seenvainly puffed up by his fleshly mind

And not holding the Headfrom which all the body by jointsand bands having nourishment ministeredand knit togetherincreaseth with the increase of God.

Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of theworldwhyas though living in the worldare ye subject toordinances

Touch nottaste nothandle not

Which all are to perish with the using after thecommandments and doctrines of men

Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worshipandhumilityand neglecting of the bodynot in any honour to thesatisfying of the flesh.
