Timothy Chapter 4
Now the Spirit speaketh expresslythat in the latter timessome shall depart from the faithgiving heed to seducingspiritsand doctrines of devils
Speaking lies in hypocrisyhaving their conscience searedwith a hot iron
Forbidding to marryand commanding to abstain from meats which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving ofthem which believe and know the truth.
For every creature of God is goodand nothing to be refused if it be received with thanksgiving
For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these thingsthoushalt be a good minister of Jesus Christnourished up in thewords of faith and of good doctrinewhereunto thou hastattained.
But refuse profane and old wivesfablesand exercise thyselfrather unto godliness.
For bodily exercise profiteth littlebut godliness isprofitable unto all thingshaving promise of the life thatnow isand of that which is to come.
This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation.
For therefore we both labour and suffer reproachbecause wetrust in the living Godwho is the Saviour of all men specially of those that believe.
These things command and teach.
Let no man despise thy youthbut be thou an example of thebelieversin wordin conversationin charityin spiritinfaithin purity.
Till I comegive attendance to readingto exhortationtodoctrine.
Neglect not the gift that is in theewhich was given thee byprophecywith the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.
Meditate upon these thingsgive thyself wholly to themthatthy profiting may appear to all.
Take heed unto thyselfand unto the doctrinecontinue inthemfor in doing this thou shalt both save thyselfand themthat hear thee.
