Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raisedfrom the dead according to my gospel
Wherein I suffer troubleas an evil doereven unto bondsbut the word of God is not bound.
Therefore I endure all things for the elect s sakesthat theymay also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus witheternal glory.
It is a faithful sayingFor if we be dead with himwe shallalso live with him
If we sufferwe shall also reign with himif we deny himhealso will deny us
If we believe notyet he abideth faithfulhe cannot denyhimself.
Of these things put them in remembrancecharging them beforethe Lord that they strive not about words to no profitbut tothe subverting of the hearers.
Study to shew thyself approved unto Goda workman thatneedeth not to be ashamedrightly dividing the word of truth.
But shun profane and vain babblingsfor they will increaseunto more ungodliness.
And their word will eat as doth a cankerof whom is Hymenaeusand Philetus

Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth surehaving thissealThe Lord knoweth them that are his. AndLet every onethat nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and ofsilverbut also of wood and of earthand some to honourandsome to dishonour.
If a man therefore purge himself from thesehe shall be avessel unto honoursanctifiedand meet for the master s useand prepared unto every good work.
Flee also youthful lustsbut follow righteousnessfaithcharitypeacewith them that call on the Lord out of a pureheart.
But foolish and unlearned questions avoidknowing that theydo gender strifes.
