Revelation Chapter 3
1 And unto the angel of the church in Sardis writeThese thingssaith he that hath the seven Spirits of Godand the sevenstarsI know thy worksthat thou hast a name that thoulivestand art dead.
2 Be watchfuland strengthen the things which remainthat areready to diefor I have not found thy works perfect beforeGod.
3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heardand holdfastand repent. If therefore thou shalt not watchI willcome on thee as a thiefand thou shalt not know what hour Iwill come upon thee.
4 Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiledtheir garmentsand they shall walk with me in whitefor theyare worthy.
5 He that overcomeththe same shall be clothed in whiteraimentand I will not blot out his name out of the book oflifebut I will confess his name before my Fatherand beforehis angels.
6 He that hath an earlet him hear what the Spirit saith untothe churches.
7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia writeThesethings saith he that is holyhe that is truehe that haththe key of Davidhe that openethand no man shuttethandshuttethand no man openeth
8 I know thy worksbeholdI have set before thee an open door and no man can shut itfor thou hast a little strengthandhast kept my wordand hast not denied my name.
9 BeholdI will make them of the synagogue of Satanwhich saythey are Jewsand are notbut do liebeholdI will makethem to come and worship before thy feetand to know that Ihave loved thee.
10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patienceI also willkeep thee from the hour of temptationwhich shall come uponall the worldto try them that dwell upon the earth.
11 BeholdI come quicklyhold that fast which thou hastthatno man take thy crown.
12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of myGodand he shall go no more outand I will write upon himthe name of my Godand the name of the city of my Godwhichis new Jerusalemwhich cometh down out of heaven from my God and I will write upon him my new name.
13 He that hath an earlet him hear what the Spirit saith untothe churches.
14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write These things saith the Amenthe faithful and true witness the beginning of the creation of God
15 I know thy worksthat thou art neither cold nor hotI wouldthou wert cold or hot.
16 So then because thou art lukewarmand neither cold nor hotIwill spue thee out of my mouth.
17 Because thou sayestI am richand increased with goodsandhave need of nothingand knowest not that thou art wretched and miserableand poorand blindand naked
18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the firethat thoumayest be richand white raimentthat thou mayest beclothedand that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear and anoint thine eyes with eyesalvethat thou mayest see.
19 As many as I loveI rebuke and chastenbe zealous therefore and repent.
20 BeholdI stand at the doorand knockif any man hear myvoiceand open the doorI will come in to himand will supwith himand he with me.
21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in mythroneeven as I also overcameand am set down with myFather in his throne.
22 He that hath an earlet him hear what the Spirit saith untothe churches.
