Revelation Chapter 5
1 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne abook written within and on the backsidesealed with sevenseals.
2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voiceWho isworthy to open the bookand to loose the seals thereof
3 And no man in heavennor in earthneither under the earthwas able to open the bookneither to look thereon.
4 And I wept muchbecause no man was found worthy to open andto read the bookneither to look thereon.
5 And one of the elders saith unto meWeep notbeholdtheLion of the tribe of Judathe Root of Davidhath prevailedto open the bookand to loose the seven seals thereof.
6 And I beheldandloin the midst of the throne and of thefour beastsand in the midst of the eldersstood a Lamb asit had been slainhaving seven horns and seven eyeswhichare the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
7 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of himthat sat upon the throne.
8 And when he had taken the bookthe four beasts and four andtwenty elders fell down before the Lambhaving every one ofthem harpsand golden vials full of odourswhich are theprayers of saints.
9 And they sung a new songsayingThou art worthy to take thebookand to open the seals thereoffor thou wast slainandhast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindredandtongueand peopleand nation
10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priestsand we shallreign on the earth.
11 And I beheldand I heard the voice of many angels round aboutthe throne and the beasts and the eldersand the number ofthem was ten thousand times ten thousandand thousands ofthousands
12 Saying with a loud voiceWorthy is the Lamb that was slain toreceive powerand richesand wisdomand strengthandhonourand gloryand blessing.
13 And every creature which is in heavenand on the earthandunder the earthand such as are in the seaand all that arein themheard I sayingBlessingand honourand gloryandpowerbe unto him that sitteth upon the throneand unto theLamb for ever and ever.
14 And the four beasts saidAmen. And the four and twenty eldersfell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.
