Revelation Chapter 11

1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rodand the angelstoodsayingRiseand measure the temple of Godand thealtarand them that worship therein.

2 But the court which is without the temple leave outandmeasure it notfor it is given unto the Gentilesand theholy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

3 And I will give power unto my two witnessesand they shallprophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore daysclothedin sackcloth.

4 These are the two olive treesand the two candlesticksstanding before the God of the earth.

5 And if any man will hurt themfire proceedeth out of theirmouthand devoureth their enemiesand if any man will hurtthemhe must in this manner be killed.

6 These have power to shut heaventhat it rain not in the daysof their prophecyand have power over waters to turn them tobloodand to smite the earth with all plaguesas often asthey will.

7 And when they shall have finished their testimonythe beastthat ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make waragainst themand shall overcome themand kill them.

8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the greatcitywhich spiritually is called Sodom and Egyptwhere alsoour Lord was crucified.

9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nationsshall see their dead bodies three days and an halfand shallnot suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.

10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over themand make merryand shall send gifts one to anotherbecausethese two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.

11 And after three days and an half the spirit of life from Godentered into themand they stood upon their feetand greatfear fell upon them which saw them.

12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto themCome up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloudandtheir enemies beheld them.

13 And the same hour was there a great earthquakeand the tenthpart of the city felland in the earthquake were slain of menseven thousandand the remnant were affrightedand gaveglory to the God of heaven.

14 The second woe is pastandbeholdthe third woe comethquickly.

15 And the seventh angel soundedand there were great voices inheavensayingThe kingdoms of this world are become thekingdoms of our Lordand of his Christand he shall reignfor ever and ever.

16 And the four and twenty elderswhich sat before God on theirseatsfell upon their facesand worshipped God

17 SayingWe give thee thanksO LORD God Almightywhich art and wastand art to comebecause thou hast taken to thee thygreat powerand hast reigned.

18 And the nations were angryand thy wrath is comeand thetime of the deadthat they should be judgedand that thoushouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophetsand tothe saintsand them that fear thy namesmall and greatandshouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

19 And the temple of God was opened in heavenand there was seenin his temple the ark of his testamentand there werelightningsand voicesand thunderingsand an earthquake and great hail.
