Mark Chapter 16

1 And when the sabbath was pastMary Magdaleneand Mary themother of Jamesand Salomehad bought sweet spicesthatthey might come and anoint him.

2 And very early in the morning the first day of the weektheycame unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun.

3 And they said among themselvesWho shall roll us away thestone from the door of the sepulchre

4 And when they lookedthey saw that the stone was rolled awayfor it was very great.

5 And entering into the sepulchrethey saw a young man sittingon the right sideclothed in a long white garmentand theywere affrighted.

6 And he saith unto themBe not affrightedYe seek Jesus ofNazarethwhich was crucifiedhe is risenhe is not herebehold the place where they laid him.

7 But go your waytell his disciples and Peter that he goethbefore you into Galileethere shall ye see himas he saidunto you.

8 And they went out quicklyand fled from the sepulchreforthey trembled and were amazedneither said they any thing toany manfor they were afraid.

9 Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the weekheappeared first to Mary Magdaleneout of whom he had castseven devils.

10 And she went and told them that had been with himas theymourned and wept.

11 And theywhen they had heard that he was aliveand had beenseen of herbelieved not.

12 After that he appeared in another form unto two of themasthey walkedand went into the country.

13 And they went and told it unto the residueneither believedthey them.

14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meatandupbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart because they believed not them which had seen him after he wasrisen.

15 And he said unto themGo ye into all the worldand preachthe gospel to every creature.

16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be savedbut he thatbelieveth not shall be damned.

17 And these signs shall follow them that believeIn my nameshall they cast out devilsthey shall speak with new tongues

18 They shall take up serpentsand if they drink any deadlythingit shall not hurt themthey shall lay hands on thesickand they shall recover.

19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto themhe was receivedup into heavenand sat on the right hand of God.

20 And they went forthand preached every wherethe Lordworking with themand confirming the word with signsfollowing. Amen.
