And he said unto themWhen ye praysayOur Father which artin heavenHallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will bedoneas in heavenso in earth.

Give us day by day our daily bread.

And forgive us our sinsfor we also forgive every one that isindebted to us. And lead us not into temptationbut deliverus from evil.

And he said unto themWhich of you shall have a friendandshall go unto him at midnightand say unto himFriendlendme three loaves

For a friend of mine in his journey is come to meand I havenothing to set before him

And he from within shall answer and sayTrouble me notthedoor is now shutand my children are with me in bedI cannotrise and give thee.

I say unto youThough he will not rise and give himbecausehe is his friendyet because of his importunity he will riseand give him as many as he needeth.

And I say unto youAskand it shall be given youseekandye shall findknockand it shall be opened unto you.

For every one that asketh receivethand he that seekethfindethand to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a fatherwillhe give him a stoneor if he ask a fishwill he for a fishgive him a serpent

Or if he shall ask an eggwill he offer him a scorpion

If ye thenbeing evilknow how to give good gifts unto yourchildrenhow much more shall your heavenly Father give theHoly Spirit to them that ask him

And he was casting out a deviland it was dumb. And it cameto passwhen the devil was gone outthe dumb spakeand thepeople wondered.

But some of them saidHe casteth out devils through Beelzebubthe chief of the devils.

And otherstempting himsought of him a sign from heaven.

But heknowing their thoughtssaid unto themEvery kingdomdivided against itself is brought to desolationand a housedivided against a house falleth.

If Satan also be divided against himselfhow shall hiskingdom standbecause ye say that I cast out devils throughBeelzebub.

And if I by Beelzebub cast out devilsby whom do your sonscast them outtherefore shall they be your judges.

But if I with the finger of God cast out devilsno doubt thekingdom of God is come upon you.

When a strong man armed keepeth his palacehis goods are inpeace

But when a stronger than he shall come upon himand overcomehimhe taketh from him all his armour wherein he trustedanddivideth his spoils.

He that is not with me is against meand he that gatherethnot with me scattereth.

When the unclean spirit is gone out of a manhe walkeththrough dry placesseeking restand finding nonehe saith I will return unto my house whence I came out.

And when he comethhe findeth it swept and garnished.

Then goeth heand taketh to him seven other spirits morewicked than himselfand they enter inand dwell thereandthe last state of that man is worse than the first.

And it came to passas he spake these thingsa certain womanof the company lifted up her voiceand said unto himBlessedis the womb that bare theeand the paps which thou hastsucked.

But he saidYea ratherblessed are they that hear the wordof Godand keep it.

And when the people were gathered thick togetherhe began tosayThis is an evil generationthey seek a signand thereshall no sign be given itbut the sign of Jonas the prophet.

For as Jonas was a sign unto the Ninevitesso shall also theSon of man be to this generation.

The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with themen of this generationand condemn themfor she came fromthe utmost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon andbeholda greater than Solomon is here.

The men of Nineve shall rise up in the judgment with thisgenerationand shall condemn itfor they repented at thepreaching of Jonasandbeholda greater than Jonas is here.

No manwhen he hath lighted a candleputteth it in a secretplaceneither under a bushelbut on a candlestickthat theywhich come in may see the light.

The light of the body is the eyetherefore when thine eye issinglethy whole body also is full of lightbut when thineeye is evilthy body also is full of darkness.

Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be notdarkness.

If thy whole body therefore be full of lighthaving no partdarkthe whole shall be full of lightas when the brightshining of a candle doth give thee light.

And as he spakea certain Pharisee besought him to dine withhimand he went inand sat down to meat.

And when the Pharisee saw ithe marvelled that he had notfirst washed before dinner.

And the Lord said unto himNow do ye Pharisees make clean theoutside of the cup and the platterbut your inward part isfull of ravening and wickedness.

Ye foolsdid not he that made that which is without make thatwhich is within also

But rather give alms of such things as ye haveandbeholdall things are clean unto you.

But woe unto youPhariseesfor ye tithe mint and rue and allmanner of herbsand pass over judgment and the love of God these ought ye to have doneand not to leave the otherundone.

Woe unto youPhariseesfor ye love the uppermost seats inthe synagoguesand greetings in the markets.

Woe unto youscribes and Phariseeshypocritesfor ye are asgraves which appear notand the men that walk over them arenot aware of them.

Then answered one of the lawyersand said unto himMaster thus saying thou reproachest us also.

And he saidWoe unto you alsoye lawyersfor ye lade menwith burdens grievous to be borneand ye yourselves touch notthe burdens with one of your fingers.

Woe unto youfor ye build the sepulchres of the prophetsandyour fathers killed them.

Truly ye bear witness that ye allow the deeds of your fathersfor they indeed killed themand ye build their sepulchres.

Therefore also said the wisdom of GodI will send themprophets and apostlesand some of them they shall slay andpersecute

That the blood of all the prophetswhich was shed from thefoundation of the worldmay be required of this generation

From the blood of Abel unto the blood of Zacharias whichperished between the altar and the templeverily I say untoyouIt shall be required of this generation.

Woe unto youlawyersfor ye have taken away the key ofknowledgeye entered not in yourselvesand them that wereentering in ye hindered.

And as he said these things unto themthe scribes and thePharisees began to urge him vehementlyand to provoke him tospeak of many things
