Luke Chapter 17
Then said he unto the disciplesIt is impossible but thatoffences will comebut woe unto himthrough whom they come
It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about hisneckand he cast into the seathan that he should offend oneof these little ones.
Take heed to yourselvesIf thy brother trespass against thee rebuke himand if he repentforgive him.
And if he trespass against thee seven times in a dayandseven times in a day turn again to theesayingI repent thou shalt forgive him.
And the apostles said unto the LordIncrease our faith.
And the Lord saidIf ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed ye might say unto this sycamine treeBe thou plucked up bythe rootand be thou planted in the seaand it should obeyyou.
But which of youhaving a servant plowing or feeding cattlewill say unto him by and bywhen he is come from the fieldGo and sit down to meat
And will not rather say unto himMake ready wherewith I maysupand gird thyselfand serve metill I have eaten anddrunkenand afterward thou shalt eat and drink
Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that werecommanded himI trow not.
So likewise yewhen ye shall have done all those things whichare commanded yousayWe are unprofitable servantswe havedone that which was our duty to do.
And it came to passas he went to Jerusalemthat he passedthrough the midst of Samaria and Galilee.
And as he entered into a certain villagethere met him tenmen that were leperswhich stood afar off
And they lifted up their voicesand saidJesusMasterhavemercy on us.
And when he saw themhe said unto themGo shew yourselvesunto the priests. And it came to passthatas they went they were cleansed.
And one of themwhen he saw that he was healedturned backand with a loud voice glorified God
And fell down on his face at his feetgiving him thanksandhe was a Samaritan.
And Jesus answering saidWere there not ten cleansedbutwhere are the nine
There are not found that returned to give glory to Godsavethis stranger.
And he said unto himArisego thy waythy faith hath madethee whole.
And when he was demanded of the Phariseeswhen the kingdom ofGod should comehe answered them and saidThe kingdom of Godcometh not with observation
Neither shall they sayLo hereorlo thereforbehold the kingdom of God is within you.
And he said unto the disciplesThe days will comewhen yeshall desire to see one of the days of the Son of manand yeshall not see it.
And they shall say to youSee hereorsee therego notafter themnor follow them.
For as the lightningthat lighteneth out of the one partunder heavenshineth unto the other part under heavensoshall also the Son of man be in his day.
But first must he suffer many thingsand be rejected of thisgeneration.
And as it was in the days of Noeso shall it be also in thedays of the Son of man.
They did eatthey drankthey married wivesthey were givenin marriageuntil the day that Noe entered into the arkandthe flood cameand destroyed them all.
Likewise also as it was in the days of Lotthey did eattheydrankthey boughtthey soldthey plantedthey builded
But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire andbrimstone from heavenand destroyed them all.
Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man isrevealed.
In that dayhe which shall be upon the housetopand hisstuff in the houselet him not come down to take it awayandhe that is in the fieldlet him likewise not return back.
Remember Lot s wife.
Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose itandwhosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.
I tell youin that night there shall be two men in one bedthe one shall be takenand the other shall be left.
Two women shall be grinding togetherthe one shall be takenand the other left.
Two men shall be in the fieldthe one shall be takenand theother left.
And they answered and said unto himWhereLordAnd he saidunto themWheresoever the body isthither will the eagles begathered together.
