Matthew Chapter 7

Judge notthat ye be not judged.

For with what judgment ye judgeye shall be judgedand withwhat measure ye meteit shall be measured to you again.

And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother s eyebut considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye

Or how wilt thou say to thy brotherLet me pull out the moteout of thine eyeandbeholda beam is in thine own eye

Thou hypocritefirst cast out the beam out of thine own eyeand then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out ofthy brother s eye.

Give not that which is holy unto the dogsneither cast yeyour pearls before swinelest they trample them under theirfeetand turn again and rend you.

Askand it shall be given youseekand ye shall findknockand it shall be opened unto you

For every one that asketh receivethand he that seekethfindethand to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Or what man is there of youwhom if his son ask breadwillhe give him a stone

Or if he ask a fishwill he give him a serpent

If ye thenbeing evilknow how to give good gifts unto yourchildrenhow much more shall your Father which is in heavengive good things to them that ask him

Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do toyoudo ye even so to themfor this is the law and theprophets.

Enter ye in at the strait gatefor wide is the gateandbroad is the waythat leadeth to destructionand many therebe which go in thereat

Because strait is the gateand narrow is the waywhichleadeth unto lifeand few there be that find it.

Beware of false prophetswhich come to you in sheep sclothingbut inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes ofthornsor figs of thistles

Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruitbut acorrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruitneither can acorrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn downand cast into the fire.

Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Not every one that saith unto meLordLordshall enter intothe kingdom of heavenbut he that doeth the will of my Fatherwhich is in heaven.

Many will say to me in that dayLordLordhave we notprophesied in thy nameand in thy name have cast out devilsand in thy name done many wonderful works

And then will I profess unto themI never knew youdepartfrom meye that work iniquity.

Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mineand doeththemI will liken him unto a wise manwhich built his houseupon a rock

And the rain descendedand the floods cameand the windsblewand beat upon that houseand it fell notfor it wasfounded upon a rock.

And every one that heareth these sayings of mineand doeththem notshall be likened unto a foolish manwhich built hishouse upon the sand

And the rain descendedand the floods cameand the windsblewand beat upon that houseand it felland great was thefall of it.

And it came to passwhen Jesus had ended these sayingsthepeople were astonished at his doctrine

For he taught them as one having authorityand not as thescribes.
