There they made him a supperand Martha servedbut Lazaruswas one of them that sat at the table with him.

Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenardvery costly and anointed the feet of Jesusand wiped his feet with herhairand the house was filled with the odour of the ointment.

Then saith one of his disciplesJudas IscariotSimon s sonwhich should betray him

Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred penceandgiven to the poor

This he saidnot that he cared for the poorbut because hewas a thiefand had the bagand bare what was put therein.

Then said JesusLet her aloneagainst the day of my buryinghath she kept this.

For the poor always ye have with youbut me ye have notalways.

Much people of the Jews therefore knew that he was thereandthey came not for Jesussake onlybut that they might seeLazarus alsowhom he had raised from the dead.

But the chief priests consulted that they might put Lazarusalso to death

Because that by reason of him many of the Jews went awayandbelieved on Jesus.

On the next day much people that were come to the feastwhenthey heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem

Took branches of palm treesand went forth to meet himandcriedHosannaBlessed is the King of Israel that cometh inthe name of the Lord.

And Jesuswhen he had found a young asssat thereonas itis written

Fear notdaughter of Sionbeholdthy King comethsittingon an ass s colt.

These things understood not his disciples at the firstbutwhen Jesus was glorifiedthen remembered they that thesethings were written of himand that they had done thesethings unto him.

The people therefore that was with him when he called Lazarusout of his graveand raised him from the deadbare record.

For this cause the people also met himfor that they heardthat he had done this miracle.

The Pharisees therefore said among themselvesPerceive ye howye prevail nothingbeholdthe world is gone after him.

And there were certain Greeks among them that came up toworship at the feast

The same came therefore to Philipwhich was of Bethsaida ofGalileeand desired himsayingSirwe would see Jesus.

Philip cometh and telleth Andrewand again Andrew and Philiptell Jesus.

And Jesus answered themsayingThe hour is comethat theSon of man should be glorified.

VerilyverilyI say unto youExcept a corn of wheat fallinto the ground and dieit abideth alonebut if it dieitbringeth forth much fruit.

He that loveth his life shall lose itand he that hateth hislife in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.

If any man serve melet him follow meand where I amthereshall also my servant beif any man serve mehim will myFather honour.

Now is my soul troubledand what shall I sayFathersave mefrom this hourbut for this cause came I unto this hour.

Fatherglorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heavensayingI have both glorified itand will glorify it again.

The people thereforethat stood byand heard itsaid thatit thunderedothers saidAn angel spake to him.

Jesus answered and saidThis voice came not because of mebut for your sakes.

Now is the judgment of this worldnow shall the prince ofthis world be cast out.

And Iif I be lifted up from the earthwill draw all menunto me.

This he saidsignifying what death he should die.

The people answered himWe have heard out of the law thatChrist abideth for everand how sayest thouThe Son of manmust be lifted upwho is this Son of man

Then Jesus said unto themYet a little while is the lightwith you. Walk while ye have the lightlest darkness comeupon youfor he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whitherhe goeth.

While ye have lightbelieve in the lightthat ye may be thechildren of light. These things spake Jesusand departedanddid hide himself from them.

But though he had done so many miracles before themyet theybelieved not on him

That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled which he spakeLordwho hath believed our reportand towhom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed

Therefore they could not believebecause that Esaias saidagain

He hath blinded their eyesand hardened their heartthatthey should not see with their eyesnor understand with theirheartand be convertedand I should heal them.

These things said Esaiaswhen he saw his gloryand spake ofhim.

Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him but because of the Pharisees they did not confess himlestthey should be put out of the synagogue

For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.

Jesus cried and saidHe that believeth on mebelieveth noton mebut on him that sent me.

And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me.

I am come a light into the worldthat whosoever believeth onme should not abide in darkness.

And if any man hear my wordsand believe notI judge himnotfor I came not to judge the worldbut to save the world.

He that rejecteth meand receiveth not my wordshath onethat judgeth himthe word that I have spokenthe same shalljudge him in the last day.

For I have not spoken of myselfbut the Father which sent mehe gave me a commandmentwhat I should sayand what I shouldspeak.

And I know that his commandment is life everlastingwhatsoever I speak thereforeeven as the Father said unto meso I speak.
