After these things Jesus shewed himself again to the disciplesat the sea of Tiberiasand on this wise shewed he himself.

There were together Simon Peterand Thomas called Didymusand Nathanael of Cana in Galileeand the sons of Zebedeeandtwo other of his disciples.

Simon Peter saith unto themI go a fishing. They say untohimWe also go with thee. They went forthand entered into aship immediatelyand that night they caught nothing.

But when the morning was now comeJesus stood on the shorebut the disciples knew not that it was Jesus.

Then Jesus saith unto themChildrenhave ye any meatTheyanswered himNo.

And he said unto themCast the net on the right side of theshipand ye shall find. They cast thereforeand now theywere not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.

Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto PeterItis the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord he girt his fisher s coat unto him for he was naked anddid cast himself into the sea.

And the other disciples came in a little ship for they werenot far from landbut as it were two hundred cubitsdragging the net with fishes.

As soon then as they were come to landthey saw a fire ofcoals thereand fish laid thereonand bread.

Jesus saith unto themBring of the fish which ye have nowcaught.

Simon Peter went upand drew the net to land full of greatfishesan hundred and fifty and threeand for all there wereso manyyet was not the net broken.

Jesus saith unto themCome and dine. And none of thedisciples durst ask himWho art thouknowing that it was theLord.

Jesus then comethand taketh breadand giveth themand fishlikewise.

This is now the third time that Jesus shewed himself to hisdisciplesafter that he was risen from the dead.

So when they had dinedJesus saith to Simon PeterSimonsonof Jonaslovest thou me more than theseHe saith unto himYeaLordthou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto himFeed my lambs.

He saith to him again the second timeSimonson of Jonas lovest thou meHe saith unto himYeaLordthou knowestthat I love thee. He saith unto himFeed my sheep.

He saith unto him the third timeSimonson of Jonaslovestthou mePeter was grieved because he said unto him the thirdtimeLovest thou meAnd he said unto himLordthou knowestall thingsthou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith untohimFeed my sheep.

VerilyverilyI say unto theeWhen thou wast youngthougirdest thyselfand walkedst whither thou wouldestbut whenthou shalt be oldthou shalt stretch forth thy handsandanother shall gird theeand carry thee whither thou wouldestnot.

This spake hesignifying by what death he should glorify God.And when he had spoken thishe saith unto himFollow me.

Then Peterturning aboutseeth the disciple whom Jesus lovedfollowingwhich also leaned on his breast at supperandsaidLordwhich is he that betrayeth thee

Peter seeing him saith to JesusLordand what shall this mando

Jesus saith unto himIf I will that he tarry till I comewhat is that to theefollow thou me.

Then went this saying abroad among the brethrenthat thatdisciple should not dieyet Jesus said not unto himHe shallnot diebutIf I will that he tarry till I comewhat isthat to thee

This is the disciple which testifieth of these thingsandwrote these thingsand we know that his testimony is true.
