Acts Chapter 3

1 Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at thehour of prayerbeing the ninth hour.

2 And a certain man lame from his mother s womb was carried whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is calledBeautifulto ask alms of them that entered into the temple

3 Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked analms.

4 And Peterfastening his eyes upon him with JohnsaidLookon us.

5 And he gave heed unto themexpecting to receive something ofthem.

6 Then Peter saidSilver and gold have I nonebut such as Ihave give I theeIn the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth riseup and walk.

7 And he took him by the right handand lifted him upandimmediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

8 And he leaping up stoodand walkedand entered with theminto the templewalkingand leapingand praising God.

9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God

10 And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at theBeautiful gate of the templeand they were filled with wonderand amazement at that which had happened unto him.

11 And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and Johnallthe people ran together unto them in the porch that is calledSolomon sgreatly wondering.

12 And when Peter saw ithe answered unto the peopleYe men ofIsraelwhy marvel ye at thisor why look ye so earnestly onusas though by our own power or holiness we had made thisman to walk

13 The God of Abrahamand of Isaacand of Jacobthe God of ourfathershath glorified his Son Jesuswhom ye delivered upand denied him in the presence of Pilatewhen he wasdetermined to let him go.

14 But ye denied the Holy One and the Justand desired amurderer to be granted unto you

15 And killed the Prince of lifewhom God hath raised from thedeadwhereof we are witnesses.

16 And his name through faith in his name hath made this manstrongwhom ye see and knowyeathe faith which is by himhath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of youall.

17 And nowbrethrenI wot that through ignorance ye did itasdid also your rulers.

18 But those thingswhich God before had shewed by the mouth ofall his prophetsthat Christ should sufferhe hath sofulfilled.

19 Repent ye thereforeand be convertedthat your sins may beblotted outwhen the times of refreshing shall come from thepresence of the Lord.

20 And he shall send Jesus Christwhich before was preached untoyou

21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution ofall thingswhich God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holyprophets since the world began.

22 For Moses truly said unto the fathersA prophet shall theLord your God raise up unto you of your brethrenlike untomehim shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall sayunto you.

23 And it shall come to passthat every soulwhich will nothear that prophetshall be destroyed from among the people.

24 Yeaand all the prophets from Samuel and those that followafteras many as have spokenhave likewise foretold of thesedays.

25 Ye are the children of the prophetsand of the covenant whichGod made with our fatherssaying unto AbrahamAnd in thyseed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.

26 Unto you first Godhaving raised up his Son Jesussent himto bless youin turning away every one of you from hisiniquities.
