Prologue

For My Family! (Horses Included!)

My eyes flickered open, seeing my mother looking down at me. I looked to where I had heard noise, and there were these strange things that walked on two legs. I stumbled to my feet, falling a bit. My mother helped me up, and she was led out of the box, I trotted after her, the strange things leading her. I followed them into a bigger box, but the walls were see-through. I looked around, examining the world around me. It was strange, but I was going to face it, after all, that's what I'm here to do right?
