Adam thought he was going for an easy snowmobile ride to Quebec and back again, but looking back from his hospital bed, the only thing easy to see were the mistakes he'd made along the way. Told by a social worker to record everything that happened to him in the frozen bush of Northeastern Ontario, Adam faces the consequences of each choice he made to stay alive and get home again. But is he telling the truth?

You said . . .

You said I should record what happened in detail. I already told you the gist of it, but now I’ve got a choice between a pad of paper and a pen, or a computer, and it’s like a whole high school of English assignments rolled into one. I better get some kind of class credit for this. Maybe I should talk and you write this down for me?

Worst day of my life. You think you’ve ever had a bad day? Let me tell you, it’s nothing compared to mine. I mean, I guess I was lucky in some ways. I did survive it, after all.

My name is Adam, and this is my story. I’m going to start it in the middle of a rip, because that’s where stuff started happening and the rest of it’s pretty boring.

And if you don’t know what a rip is, then maybe you’d better read something else. I’ve been told I have to explain it. Okay: a rip is a ride on a snowmobile. Got it?

Sara Grover: Being that this is your first story and I assume first draft, a lot of little mistakes are common, we all have made them; little things like your instead of you're, missed capitalization, missing punctuation, etc. As for the plot, I have a lot of questions and I did leave comments on certain sect...

CookieMonster911: The story overall was an adventure that is appealing to any age. The way the characters develop adds a more human characteristic to the novel. smile4me: Exciting page turner. I was barely able to put it down to go to bed. I can usually figure out the twists before they are revealed but not this time! Such a thrill to be surprised. I can hardly wait for the follow up!!

Alex Reltin: This is a great story! I love how well you go into detail and emotions of Capri, and Mel. You have amazing dialogue and overall it's just a thrill to read! The only critique I could find is that some of the paragraphs should be separated. For example:-"If Nia would have just let me take the car an...

Dru83: This is perhaps my favorite part of the Olafson story just because it is here that were are introduced to his "gang". The characters are so diverse and complicated that each of them could just about spawn their own story. Eric's buddies are just so captivating and the plot just rolls along. Again...

MegaRogueLegend666: I love this story so much. It's impossible to describe my excitement with each new chapter in words. The author has such a good writing style, very good descriptions of the fighting and character descriptions/emotions. the plot is also amazing! This fanfic could be a side anime show or novel ......

I found that the ideas the author put forth were very thought provoking given the turmoil we have seen gradually rise over the last several years. I felt that I could understand th...

jessiehs: This book had me hooked from the very beginning. To be honest, I wasn't sure I would like it based on the description, but I was very wrong.
