Skylarks. One word that no member of government wants to hear. With more Skylarks than ever being born, will the Skylarks survive or will they just be another group of people falling victims to the cruel and corrupt government of the West State?

Prologue

100 years ago, the first people to travel to the West State arrived, they built the city up from nothing, borrowing money and supplies from the other states, West State is now a central place for all to see, underneath the laughter, parties and nightclubs lies a corrupt government only concerned about money and lavish parties for the members of state. Meanwhile the poor are left to fend for themselves. Barely alive and well, they work for virtually nothing. There is some things that can defy the system. These things are invincible if trained properly, they are feared by the government so normally they are hidden by their families, but the government's police always find a way to find them. Most of them are young, but they have enough power to bring down a whole society.

CookieMonster911: The story overall was an adventure that is appealing to any age. The way the characters develop adds a more human characteristic to the novel. The writing style itself is amazing because you can learn every character's thoughts and emotions. The awkward love triangle and jerk moments adds to the ...

Hawkebat: Playing both Kotor I & II and Swtor I found the story line interesting and it held me until chapter 35 Very good story and plot flow until then, very few technical errors. I felt that the main character was a bit under and over powered, as it fought for balance. The last few chapters felt too f...

263Adder: Okay so I adore this story. I only knocked one star off plot for historical inaccuracies because I'm a bit of a stickler for that. The ending broke my heart though, considering you already changed history couldn't you (SPOILER) change it a bit more and have them together!!!! I want an alternative...

dd1226: I love reading about other countries and I think this story about Cambodia after Polpot creates awareness of the tragedy that happened there and the actions of the U.N. to hold elections. The heroine of the story is easy to relate to, a modern, middleaged woman looking for an adventure, wanting t...

Charlie_8472: Recommended to me by a friend, I thought I'd give this a read. As a hobbyist blacksmith, the blurb certainly caught my attention. I found the sentence about them drinking, dancing and fighting a strange combination of activities, perhaps a reflection of the writer’s personality and humour. Howeve...

FateFellShort: I have read this story and have followed the writers on tumblr from the beginning. Its a wonderful story. Beautifully written with a really nice pace, that makes it enjoyable to read more than once. For me, fairy tail has very good characters but what the writers have done is give them more depth...
