Prologue

As I walked in the door, I realized Elizabeth, my sister with med long brown hair and brown eyes, was in the bedroom talking to someone. The second I heard her voice I barged in. “MORGAN!” I yelled. “Waddup, girl?” Morgan responded, her short blonde hair swishing as she did so. I laughed and walked out. I knew better than to interrupt Morgan and Elizabeth when Morgan came over… but I did so anyway. I knew as long as I only said ‘Hi’ Elizabeth wouldn’t get annoyed.

I sat down at the computer desk and started to work on my latest animation for YouTube. I was now a very popular YouTuber who does speed paints, complaints, Let’s Plays, and a few others.

Ever since my family moved from my grandma and grandpa’s basement into a house that was just a block down the road, we had been living happily. Dad finally got a good paying job as an amazing doctor, and mom has graduated UVU with a Masters Degree. Elizabeth was one of the youngest authors in Utah and got an award for her bestselling novel.

Morgan is not actually family, but we treated her like it. Elizabeth referred to Morgan as her ‘sister from another mister’. Morgan also plans on growing out and dyeing her hair black. She has a job at Papa Murphy’s that actually pays very well. She and Elizabeth plan on moving into an apartment together after they graduate high school or collage.

My little brother, James, was doing OK in 3rd grade. He had great friends that he visited more often than Morgan coming over and me doing homework combined. The greatest little brother in the world. I, honestly, didn't like his haircut, which was this weird straight line across the right side of his head and all of his blonde hair on the right.

Ellie, my little sister, was very fun and a little annoying, but was doing well in kindergarten. She had shortish blonde hair and dark brown eyes. Her attitude was usually pink, so mom says.

I was doing well in Jr. high. Good grades, nice teachers, amazing friends, and epic classes. I was also working on getting my brown hair longer so that I could do cool things with it.

While I continued to animate, listening to some parts of the recorded script every so often… I heard something on the news. The news always interested me for some reason, and I took a break to go sit down on the couch to watch. Dad was on the couch with his iPad, as usual. His blackish brown hair combed in his usual classic style. The guy on the screen was talking about this weird baby that was born yesterday, he seemed to have different concepts as a human… like superpowers almost. Super powers like, even if heart stops you still live powers, because that was what had happened. The baby’s heart had stopped, yet the baby was still very much alive and well, except for very pale skin, a side effect of sorts.

After the story came to a long commercial break, I walked back to the computer desk to continue my animation. Little did I know, that stupid baby would change completely what my family had worked so hard for.
