Chapter 1 A new home
Max wakes up because of his foster family. He here's shouting and bangs. He gets up from his bed and walks over to find Lisa and Greg, his owners, fighting about if they should keep max.
The night before, Max caused a huge disaster. When Lisa and Greg walked in to find a mess, they were raging mad they kept yelling at Max.
As they kept fight if they should keep Max or send him back. Max went back to his bed. He whimpered as he tried to find somewhere comfortable to lay down. Right when he closed his eyes he opened them back again to find himself being carried into Lisa's car. Greg looked annoyed. Lisa looked like she had been crying for hours. Max already knew the drill.
As they turned on there engine, Max walks over to Lisa and sits down next to her.
"I'm sorry, I wish we could keep you but Greg doesn't like messy dogs" Lisa said as she tried holding back her tears.
"OH WILL YOU STOP TALKING TO THE STUPID DOG, IT PROBABLY DOESN'T EVEN UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE SAYING!!!" Greg said as he was driving.
After about ten minutes they finally arrived to the shelter. Max kept whimpering. Lisa carried Max inside as Lisa said goodbye, Greg grabbed her by the arm and dragged her back into the car.
That night Max kept crying and whimpering. One of the workers noticed and opened his caged and went in.
"Oh it's okay Max I'm sure that you will find your forever home" Amanda the worker said as patting him on his head. Max finally fell asleep.
When he woke up there was already food and water and many toys in his cage. As he ate he saw Buddy the dog from 2 cages down get adopted. Then he saw Robin, Flower,Sage,January,Cookie and many other dogs get adopted. It was just him and 6 other dogs. Max had have enough of waiting and being in and out of homes. He decided that he was gonna runaway the next day.
