Introduction.
As requested, a further selection of adventures of a time travelling doctor in short story format to read to your children.
The doctor’s next adventure has started no sooner had she left the South Pole when her Time Machine whisks her into the present-day future of 2020, and into the deepest jungle of Africa, where huge oversized dinosaurs are attacking a family stranded within a car. Weird things are happening, and strange monsters are appearing to come from out of nowhere, until the doctor and his assistant Jessabelle investigate and to their surprise detect a connection to their last adventure and how it has affected an 11-year-old boy whose body is changing, mutating and transforming into a time Patrician.
The doctor needs to investigate how this has happened and if she can help the boy, while saving the world from his powerful mind as it grows and evolves. Only the doctor can save this child and the world, but can she do it against such terrible odds fighting against her.

As the doctor and her Time Machine leaves the South Pole, unbeknown to her at that moment in time, ramifications of the time shrinkage ripple through the future and cause unexpected devastating effects, when Roald Amundsen arrives only minutes later and takes a sample of the unusual coloured ice and snow which appears to be luminescing, and not realising he had just captured diminutive organic particles of a living Time Machine and the energy from the residual radiation of the Rosen Bridge time-bubble.
Years later his estate is broken up and sold, and over time the various treasures of Roald Amundsen go to collectors of antiquity and eventually settling with the Rev. Fox an avid collector and scholar.
As always in time the Rev. Fox also dies, and his family not realising the precious gem within their hands sell the vile of water and his stamp collection, and a variety of dinosaur bones in an auction in Bridport Dorset United Kingdom. Where J.R, John Richard, purchased them to give to his children, and with the stamp collection going to his son Peter, and the vile of now luminescing water and the dinosaur bones going to his grandson Joshua.
No one has realised that in the one hundred plus years since this sample was collected by Roald Amundsen, the living energy within had mutated and divided every few days and growing in numbers and power until all the stars within the Milkyway galaxy could not contain the radiated energy within.

“Doctor,” cried out Jessabelle as she viewed the huge T-Rex and its pack emerging from the forest. “Where are we…, and can those monsters harm us?” said Jessabelle as she quivered in fear. Even from the safety of the Time Machine they could hear the roars from the beasts outside. “Not while we are within here…, and remember they will be unaware of our existence, as to their eyes we are but a huge bolder before them…, it is those humans trapped within that car that I am more concerned about,” said the doctor as she pointed to another monitor showing the outside area of the Time Machine.
As the doctor looked at her instrumentation displaying the date and time line, the doctor looked confused. “Impossible this cannot be…, I know this time period, as I have been here many times and never before were there actual living organic dinosaurs,” said the doctor as she ran to the Time Machines door and opening it, and then running out to help the family trapped within their car.
Only as she arrived and laid a hand upon the door of the car, and opening it and reaching within, the doctor laid a hand upon the boy in his mother’s lap, and then the doctor and the car along with its occupants vanished leaving Jessabelle alone within the Time Machine. “Doctor,” screamed Jessabelle as she watched dismayed and shocked as the doctor and car vanished into thin air. As Jessabelle looked at the monitor the dinosaurs turned around and stomped away, leaving her alone, confused and scared.
The car along with its contents and the doctor still holding the cars door dematerialised in Bridgwater in Somerset, United Kingdom. Screams were heard coming from within, and there were two children along with the two adults, only one child an eleven-year-old boy was being held in his mother’s arms and he was unconscious. Quickly the doctor opened the cars door and tried calming those within. “They are gone, they’re gone…, you have nothing to fear anymore,” said the doctor. “No…, no you do not understand they keep coming back, it’s my son Joshua there is something happening to him, and we have been trying to get him to the hospital,” said the boy’s scared mother.
No sooner had she spoken when a huge Lion appeared, forcing the doctor to squeeze within the cars back seat and close the door. The lion jumped upon the cars bonnet and tried attacking the male figure who was sitting within the drivers’ seat of the car. Its huge roar vibrated within the car and the beast kept leaping towards the driver and impacting into the frame and glass, but such was it size its head kept hitting the vehicles frame work which seemed to be preventing the screen from breaking.
The doctor watched in confused silence as her mind tried to understand what was happening, and then reaching over she touched the boy removing hair from his eyes. Immediately the lion vanished, and the startled doctor began to possibly understand what was happening. “Here allow me to take your son, I am a doctor and can care for him, your arms must be tired by now and you need rest,” said the doctor to the child’s mother.
After a time, the family deemed it safe and vacated the car and quickly entered their home. As the doctor carried the boy inside his mother led the doctor upstairs and into her son’s bedroom, where the doctor laid him gently down. “Every time we tried calling for an ambulance the phones would explode and strange things kept happening, so we tried to drive him to the hospital that’s when we were confronted by those monsters…, I do not understand what is happening?” cried Joshua’s mother.
Just then the doctor heard shouting from outside and lifted her head to view the police arresting the driver of the car they had arrived in. “Is that your husband been arrested,” inquired the doctor. The boy’s mother looked embarrassed. “He is not my husband, I am separated, he was my partner, but the Social Services placed a restraining order upon him, ordering him not to come near us or the children again,” said the mother.
The doctor looked at the woman before her, “Then how did he manage to take you and your children into the car?” “That’s just it he did not, I tried phoning for an ambulance and the phone exploded and the next thing I knew I was within the car with my daughter Charley and my partner was driving.” Joshua moaned and the doctor could see he was trapped in REM sleep, as his eyes were rapidly moving while shut.
The mother saw the doctor viewing her child’s eyes, “Doctor why is he doing that?” “It is a phase of mammalian sleep, your child is dreaming, and I have a feeling those dreams are possibly breaking somehow into reality,” said the doctor. “Is that even possible,” replied his mother. “Not usually I have only known of such cases among the human population only once before and that was not connected to your son in any way…, at least at this moment in time I can see no human connection,” replied the doctor.
At that moment a luminescing light caught the doctor’s eyes, and she bent down and picked up a bio yoghurt pot and a spoon from the floor. “This is interesting, can I ask you how these items got here,” inquired the doctor. The child’s mother looked at the items, “Oh they are my sons, and I am trying to teach him to wash his own dishes…, he insists on his own plate, mug and spoon.
Charley Joshua’s sister looked scared and the doctor noticed her actions and body language. “Charley do you by any possibility know why this yoghurt pot and spoon are luminescing a bright purple incandescing light.” The child backed away, “No…, no mam…, I have no idea.” Her mother turned and faced her daughter having recognised the hesitation and tonal reflections within her voice. “Charley… tell me what you did.” “I promise you Charlie your mother will not punish you nor will I…, just tell us what happened I am sure it was an accident,” said the doctor.
