Enough Already!

Bullying, is an emotionally draining issue prominent across the world today. Bullying is unacceptable and today I am standing here for a reason! Bullying is utterly disgusting! Imagine just imagine, if someone randomly comes up to you and start swearing at your face because of the way you are! You can’t change who you are, but today I am here to change the minds of those people who pick on you for being you. In this argument, I will show my support in the fight against bullying.

A lot of things have changed throughout the course of time; however, it is still influential throughout the world today! Bullying is barbaric and needs to end! Name one school in the world that hasn’t got those senseless bullies trashing in every corner! What do you think? Do you think the fights against bullying are effective? Do you think that everything is right in this world? Wrong! Despite all the fights against bullying; it still happens. Why? Want the answer? Well then keep listening.

Bullying; pathetic, irrational and is unacceptable; I am a former victim of bullying myself. What is bullying? Bullying is described as repeated verbal, physical, social or psychological behaviour that is harmful and involves the misuse of long-term effects on those involved. (Bullying No Way!). With that being stated, what can be said about bullying? Honestly, it is a natural part of life that everyone unfortunately is going to have to put-up with one way or another.

Bullying can be done in the following ways: face-to-face with examples such as rumours; or cyber bullying. (Bullying No Way!). Today, the first two are starting to disappear. However, the third method, cyber bullying is getting more and more common and doing an impeccable good amount of work to ruin this world. We now live in the 21st century and with our advancements in technology we have created new means of staying in contact with people. This gives bullies the potential to target an individual and harass them. Due to the amount of social media present; people can form new ways to harass others.

Therefore, how can this be prevented? That question can be pondered upon, but to answer it; I argue that parents should learn their child’s information and regulate just how much social media they are exposed to. Bullying is considered a crime in same standards. Why does this happen….? Why? Well, this is the question that pops up every time, someone mentions bullying. This girl’s story will literally melt your heart out.

This is a story of a Russian school-girl who was beaten up and forced to drink water from the puddle for being too pretty… Her name was Abby Johnson; she was 14 years old and was a victim of serious bullying. Soon after that incident, her mum found her dead body, hanged in her room with a small video clip saying “I GIVE UP!” Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Seriously! Being bullied for being too pretty? Pathetic! What you guys might have thought about bullying is getting picked on because of your religion or culture, but here young children are becoming depressed for their good looks!… this is an actually a true story, I didn’t go back in time and change any events, but I sure wish I could… Can you believe that it’s all happening in the same world you guys are living in.

This irrational bullying needs to stop, because it is destroying needs to stop, because it is destroying those innocent minds and sinking them into disasters.

So, here I stand with an extremely serious matter and insist every teen to tell someone if you’re being bullied or know if someone else is and tell; and if you guys are thinking that how do I know how it impacts people? Well, because it impacted me for a long time, and I would not stand anyone else to suffer. Make your school a telling school, or run a team against this appalling crime. I know we should make a difference and we will make a difference.

Avell Kro: I've only just started reading this, but I can see that this writer really knows her stuff. Her theme is painful and traumatic, and her sense of place is deep and strong. Jessica McAlpine: I fell in love easily with this story. In the beginning it reminded me of Studio Ghibli films where fantasy is mixed with some science, almost like steampunk but not.I continued to enjoy the world culture of The Shattered Girl. Patrick Johns: The Prince was an exciting read. I enjoyed the spoiled bratty protagonist and his drastic change through out the story. The world building was well though out and clear. The author did a great job painting a picture for the reader without having a map. I liked the connection to real life leaders....
