Ella
It was boiling, and Ella's neck was soaking wet. She was rubbing the floor was a mop, as her mother was in the study, doing her fathers taxes, as he was out in the barn, looking after the horses, and the simple thing was, he wasn't bothered to do them himself.
"Ella?" Soaping up the water drippings, Ella lifted it back into the bucket, and rushed into the study to find her mother on the floor, bent over, looking as white as a sheet.
"Mother!" Ella rushed to her dear mothers side, and knelt down, taking her mothers shoulders gently, but holding her steady, so she wouldn't fall anymore onto the hard, wooden floor.
"What happened?" She whispered, "Are you ok?" Her mothers breathing was slow and shallow. "Get your father," She wheezed, now holding onto her daughters arms like a life- boat, "Tell him,"
After a sharp intake of breath, the room went silent, and Ella was alone. She cried deeply. Her mother, was dead.
