THE LOST RING
My friend whose name was Nikki, she went for a blind date, the person who never meet before. She was really excited to meet him, but her father was a strict person, however her father said to her that “oddball”. One night she ran away from home, so that she can meet him. She went to railway station to reach Kolkata. At the age of 24 Nikki was head over heels in love with the one whom she had never met before.
So far so good, while moving Hyderabad she saw a jewelry shop. When she entered the shop she could make out the shop looks very expensive.
Her mind was admired to the ring at her first sight. Without wasting her time she bought beautiful golden ring with dot of diamond. After buying that ring, she shine her ring on her finger.
Suddenly, her ring was lost as she knows that she had spent so many brucks. While she walking, way to hotel, she found a guy who's ring was designed same as her she knew it that ring was her but she was not bold enough to ask him about that ring. An error doesn't become a mistake until you refuse to correct it.
She asked him"Hello sir would you mind to tell me from where did you get this ring"?
With humble tone he replied"yes madam I didn't buy from anywhere neither anybody gave me instead I got from road it's a lost and found ring and I thought that it's my luck to get such a expensive ring"
Nikki was amazed to hear such from him.she was really disheartened and her heart felt heavy after hearing because with vow she had given that ring to her lover. She kindly asked that ring from him at first he denied to give but when Nikki showed him the receipt of that ring then he submitted the lost and found ring.
Than she went to meet the person, the person whom she was waiting for to meet him. He called her to the cafe to meet her. She went there but there was no one, she thought that he was fooling her but her thoughts were correct.
Nikki was really excited to give him the ring but he doesn't came there, saddly she went towards the hotel.
Than after a few hours, he once again called her saying that " where are you?" She kindly reply him saying that "I'm in hotel" , he said to come out to her and dragged her hand but he was so annoying that he sold her to a rich and a gaint man.
He had taken her ring also. She was crying and screaming but no one was there to help her. Few months later, Nikki's dad knew where his daughter was.He knew that she was sold to a man and finally met with her, Nikki narrated the whole story to her dad. Deep down, Nikki said, "I've learned that things change, people change, and it doesn't mean you forget the past or try to cover it up; it simply means that you move on and treasure the memories. Letting go doesn't mean giving up, it means accepting that some things weren't meant to be".
