- Chapter 26 | Oreos? Oreos.

A N A S T A S I A

After school ended I walked out to get on my motorcycle and head home, but Ryder was standing there, leaning against it.

“Hey.” He said when I walked up to him and he stopped leaning against it.

“Hey.” I said opening the seat up, swapping my helmet for my book bag.

“You know about tonight?” He asks and I nod facing him.

“Yea, what about it? You have to cancel?” I ask and I couldn’t hold in the sound of my disappointment.

“No, I was thinking we could hang out now too?” He said, running a hand through his hair and I smiled.

“Sure, meet me at my house so we can just take one car.” I said and his eyes brightened.

“Okay, see you there.” He said turning around as he then walked to his car and got in.

I threw my leg over my bike and placed my helmet on my head as I then turned it on. Backing out of my spot, I saw Ryder so I flipped my helmet shade up and winked before hitting it down and speeding to my house.

When I got there I opened the grave and pulled in as Ryder arrived right after me. I kicked the kickstand down and got off while taking off my helmet and placing it on the table against the wall.

I already had the stuff I needed in my pockets, so I didn’t need to bring my book bag to wherever we were going to go.

Casually I walked over to the passenger side of his car, opened the door and got in.

“Where to?” He asked and I shrugged.

“What were you thinking of doing?” I asked and he thought about it.

“Movies at my place.” He said and I smiled, excited.

“Your house it is.” I say, putting on my seatbelt and buckling myself in.

“Wait, can we go get snacks first?” I ask and he nods as he places his hand on the back of my seat and looks over his shoulder, backing out of the driveway.

“Yea, let’s stop at target.” He says and we make our way there.

The drive wasn’t over 15 minutes and once we got there, we got out of the car and walked inside ready to pick out snacks.

Target wasn’t busy at all and there were only a few people that we have seen so far other than the people who work here.

We grabbed a cart and made our way straight to the back where the food was. Ryder was pushing the cart while I looked for what I wanted when he stopped.

“What happened?” I ask because he didn’t stop to look at anything, he was just looking at me with a grin.

“Get in.” He said an I scrunched my brows together, confused.

“What?” I asked and he pushed the cart towards me.

“Get in the cart.” He says laughing and I look at him like he’s crazy.

“Why?” I ask cautiously.

“It’ll be fun. Then we can grab anything you want and I’m buying.” He say sand I shake my head with a laugh as I walk closer to him.

“I can’t believe I’m doing this.” I say as I climb into the cart and my legs a partially hanging off the end.

Right when I get in he starts running. Pushing the cart along with me down isles as fast as he could run and I laughed. I threw my head back, laughing and I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so hard.

When he finally stopped back in the snack section he took deep breaths before speaking.

“So what snacks did you want again?” He asks laughing lightly and out of breath.

“I want Oreos.” I said and he nodded, pushing me at a normal speed to the section with Oreos.

“Here you go.” He says handing me five packages of Oreos.

“Oh my god Ryder! That’s too many!” I say, but he doesn’t listen. He just keeps grabbing more Oreos, some in each flavor and hands them to me.

The cart is getting stuffed around me from all the Oreos and I barely have space. My hands are and the cart are completely full with Oreos by the time he stops.

“Enough?” He asks with the wide smile.

“Enough?” I ask, eyes wide.

“It’s too much!” I say and he shakes his head as he begins pushing the cart and I to the checkout.

The cashier looked at us like we were crazy as we checked out all the Oreos and paid. Once we were done he ran me out of the store in the cart while I was still holding onto the Oreos and it was more fun out here to feel the wind blowing through my hair.

I felt carefree and I loved it.

After Ryder put all the Oreos in his car I got out of the cart and we headed to his house to start watching movies.

When we got there and pulled up into his driveway I already knew we would have to take a couple trips in and out of the house to bring the Oreos in and it did.

I honestly can’t believe he actually bought that many Oreos. It’s like heaven because Oreos are definitely my guilty pleasure food.

We finished bringing all the Oreos inside and we both took a seat on his couch as he turned on Netflix. We were having a Netflix and chill day without the sex.

As he was scanning the movie options, he handed me the remote and got up off the couch, walking to the kitchen.

While he was gone, I continued to look for something to watch. He came back not long after with a box of Oreos in his hands and he turned to me as he sat down with them.

“Oreos?” He asked holding them towards me with a lopsided grin and I smiled.

“Oreos.”
