“Hey Skye, a few of us are going out to eat later tonight, you should come” Laura smiled as we walked out of class. “Where and when?” I asked. “Monty’s Pizza around seven-thirty” Marc threw his arm around my shoulder. “I’ll call you if I can make it” I spoke to Laura with a smile. With quick hugs we parted ways.
I began my journey to Josh’s office, wondering if he would be upset if I spent a couple hours with friends on his first day with me. As I reached his office I noticed a few students at the end of the hall, I slowed my pace down and pulled out my phone. Out of the corner of my eye I could see them say their goodbyes and walk out of sight so I quickly knocked on Josh’s door and glanced around until I heard his voice call me in. I closed the door behind me and tossed my bag on a nearby chair “Hey” I walked over to him. “Hey babe, how was your day?” he sounded so tired. “Fine” I responded “What’s wrong?” I ran my fingers through his hair, massaging his scalp gently. “That feels good” he sighed leaning back in his chair. I continued with the massage, my eye on the doorknob just in case someone entered unannounced “Everything ok?” I took my hand away so he would focus on my words. “Just a long day, babe” he turned to look at me, a faint smile on his lips but his eyes held exhaustion. “What time are you planning to go home?” I sat in the chair on the other side of his desk. “About that,” he winced a bit sitting forward “I’m really sorry, but I’ll need to work late tonight to get things ready for tomorrow morning. I called Jason to come pick you up, he should be here shortly” he looked sad. “Ok,” I nodded. “what time do you think you’ll be home?” I questioned. “Nine, maybe” he looked at his desk, exhaustion running over his features. “Would you mind if I went out to dinner with friends then? I’ll be home around nine-thirty?” I asked hopeful. “Yeah, of course. I wouldn’t expect you to sit around waiting for me” he smiled “Where are you going?” A smile graced my lips “Monty’s pizza? I’ve never heard of it” I chuckled. “You’ll love it, get the Hawaiian” he winked. Josh’s phone beeped and he reached for it “Jason’s here” I nodded and stood, walking over to him I planted a long, lingering kiss on his lips “I’ll see you at home, don’t work too late, ok?” he smiled against my lips “I won’t, babe” with another kiss I said my goodbyes and met Jason in the parking lot.
“Hi, baby” he greeted as I strapped myself in “Hey” I smiled and took his offered hand. “How was your day?” I told him how my day went and my plans with friends later tonight throughout the car ride home.. “Spend it with me instead” he winked. “That’s not fair” I chuckled. “It’s not your fault that Josh is choosing work over time with you” he shrugged. We greeted Jeffrey and waited for the elevator to descend to get on. “Jason,” I scolded “it’s work. It’s not his fault, there’s no choice for him to make” Jason opened up the door and let me in first, I slipped off my shoes and tossed my bag on the kitchen table. “If it were me, I would spend tonight with you and go in early to catch up” he spoke cockily. “And have me feel horrible that you’re putting your responsibilities at work on the back burner to spend a few hours with me?” I countered crossing my arms and a brow raised. “You’d be too exhausted from all the love making to worry” he smirked wrapping his arms around me. “Oh jeez!” I rolled my eyes and swatted at his chest while breaking out of his hold. “I’m making a small snack, want something?” I tossed over my shoulder as I walked to the kitchen. “Are you on the menu?” I could hear the humor dripping with every syllable. “I don’t remember you being this cheesy before” I smiled taking out yogurt from the fridge. He only shrugged and wrapped his arms around my waist from behind, his lips brushing against my neck. “Just because Josh isn’t here doesn’t mean you get to squeeze extra time in with me, mister” I tisked and walked out of his arms to retrieve my books “Besides, I have work to do before I meet my friends” I spoke while digging through my bag. “Seven, right?” I nodded while pulling my books out of my bag “Mind if I borrow the Rover?” I smiled and wiggled my brows. He chuckled and tossed me the keys “Bring her back in one piece, please?” I laughed and promised she would be returned safely.
Around six I took a quick shower and got ready to meet up with my friends, with a goodbye kiss for Jason and a quick text to Josh, I left.
The Range Rover drove like a dream and I mentally reminded myself to ask Jason to take it out more often. I pulled up to Monty’s Pizza and picked the first available stall. Locking the door, I walked to the main doors and scanned the small restaurant. Laura waved vigorously to get my attention and I walked towards the booth in the back. “Hey guys” I greeted. Marc slid over and I parked myself next to him “Glad you could make it” he nudged my shoulder with his. Laura passed me a plate and told me to dig in. We chatted about anything and everything, it was a great time and it was nice to forget about my situation with the two men in my life.
My phone beeped in my purse and I dug it out, Josh was letting me know he finished earlier than expected and was heading home, he told me not to rush and enjoy my time with my friends and he would see me later. He was trying to make the situation as normal as he could and I appreciated that about him. With a quick text back that I would be home in an hour I slipped my phone back into my purse and focused on my friends. By nine we were all stuffed and ready to call it a night, hugs and promises to do dinner again soon were thrown about and we parted ways.
“Hey, Jeffrey” I leaned against the counter of his desk. “Hello, Miss Skye, how was your night out?”
“Great, thanks. How’s your night been?” he shrugged with a soft smile “Quiet” I nodded and wished him a good night. I slide the key card into the slot and the front door popped open for me. The loft was quiet and I quietly walked in “Hello?” I raised a brow. I heard movement from Jason’s room and his head poked out “Hey baby, how was dinner?”
“The Rover is fine, Jason” I rolled my eyes playfully.
“Oh, Thank God!” he sighed over dramatically. We both laughed and I told him how my night went.
“Where’s Josh?” he nodded towards Josh’s closed bedroom door. “I’m going to change, I’ll see you in the morning?”
“Yeah, I’ll take you to school”
“Or,” I started in a sing song voice “you could let me take the Rover?” I smirked.
“Fat chance!” his laughter boomed.
“Can’t blame a girl for trying” I sighed wrapping my arms around his waist and resting my cheek against his chest.
“No, you can’t” he chuckled and kissed the top of my head. He walked me to my room, giving me a quick kiss before he retired to his own room, the door shutting quietly behind him. I changed into a black tank top and shorts, I threw my hair into a messy ponytail and washed my face before heading over to Josh’s room. I didn’t bother knocking, I just quietly turned the knob and let myself in.
Josh laid in the middle of the bed on his stomach “Bed hog” I chuckled in a whisper while closing the door behind me. Lifting the covers I slid inside and nuzzled up into his side. “Babe,” he groaned, his arm reaching out and wrapping around my back. I was now cradled in his arms and I felt warmth as his scent wrapped around me. “how was dinner?” he mumbled. “Shh, we’ll talk later, sleep” I whispered and kissed his chin. He hummed in response and held me tighter until he fell into a deep sleep and his embrace slacked. Sleep finally took me in as well and we slept peacefully in each other’s arms.
I felt soft lips pressing against the back of my neck, my eyes fluttered open and met with the clock on Josh’s night table; two-twenty seven. “Mmm, Josh” I mumbled. “I feel like I ruined our first day together” he whispered, his breath tickling my skin. I rolled over to face him “I don’t expect anything special on our days together. It’s meant to be time alone with one another. I don’t need fancy dates, we still have lives to lead. Please don’t feel bad” I kissed his cheek. “I love you” he sighed and nuzzled my neck. “I love you too” I squealed as I became increasingly ticklish. I could feel him smile and I sunk my fingers into his hair, massaging his scalp like I did in his office. “Mmm, I love when you do that” I smiled and continued until he fell asleep once again. A few more minutes and I drifted away again.
When I woke up again, the sun was rising and Josh was under the covers, between my legs. “Josh!” I gasped as his tongue flicked at my clit. He hummed and the vibrations made my toes curl. I fisted the pillow that lay under my head while his tongue swirled and his lips sucked. I bit my lip from moaning out loud but the soft whimpers couldn’t be suppressed, I was so close to the edge that my legs began to tremble and my breaths were coming out in pants. “Yes, right there," I trailed "don’t you dare stop!” I whisper yelled. Josh chuckled but continued with my demand. My arms shot forward, my hands holding his head in place while I rode out my morning orgasm. “Oh my god...” I spoke between heavy breathing. Josh tugged at the sheets and his head emerged, a smile stretching from ear to ear. “I did good?” I began laughing and nodded my head “You did very good” I blushed. Crawling up my body he showered kisses all over my face. “We have time before we have to leave, take a shower with me?” I nodded feeling my face bloom with heat. One very long shower and three orgasms later and we were finally getting dressed for school “I hope this morning made up for last night” he whispered in my ear. I didn’t respond, my blush and giggle spoke volumes.
“Good Morning” Jason smiled while pouring his coffee at the kitchen island.
“Good morning” Josh and I practically sung together. Jason raised a brow but didn’t comment.
“Why don’t you have breakfast and then we’ll head out” I nodded and made myself some toast while Josh made coffee for the both of us.
“Don’t make any plans after school, I have a few things planned for us” Jason whispered in my ear, causing a shiver to run down my spine. He smiled and pulled away from me. After breakfast Jason and I left.
“Good morning Mr. King, Miss Skye” Jeffrey gave us a smile and a single nod.
“Good morning, Jeffrey” I chirped.
“Morning” Jason grunted. My eyebrows furrowed and I rolled my eyes causing Jeffrey to stifle a laugh.
Once settled in the Rover I looked over at Jason “You could be more friendly to Jeffrey”
“How have you become so close to him?” he shot me a curious glance.
“Because I’m friendly” I answered sarcastically.
“Hmm,” he pursed his lips “I’ll be nicer” he mumbled.
“Don’t hurt yourself there, King” I rolled my eyes. “If it’s too painful to be nice to the guy who greets you when you come and go and keeps your home safe, just don’t t do it”
“What’s with the attitude?” he shot back.
“You were rude!”
“It’s just the doorman, there’s something else” he shook his head.
“He’s a person, not a doorman” I huffed.
“I don’t want to fight” he sighed pinching the bridge of his nose while we stopped at a red light.
“So don’t be a spoiled brat and be nicer to people” I crossed my arms.
“Skye! Enough!” his face was red with rage and I cowered into my seat. “Fine, I should have been nicer to, what the hell was his name?”
“Jeffrey” I whispered.
“Yeah, him,” he spat “but that doesn’t mean you get to talk to me like that”
“I’m sorry” I bit my lip and looked down at my hands in my lap.
Jason sighed heavily “I’m sorry for yelling” he reached out for my hand and lifted it to his lips “I don’t want to fight with you” he kissed the back of my palm then rested in on his thigh.
“I don’t either, I made a big deal out of nothing”
“Start again?” he looked over at me when he pulled into the school parking lot. I nodded and mirrored his actions when he leaned in, our lips met and his hand cupped the side of my cheek tenderly, the kiss became deeper and his fingers slipped behind my neck and into my hair. A fistful of my strands, he held me in place as a moan slipped my lips, he smiled and continued his passionate show of affection. I had to pull away, a needed breath had to be taken as my head spun “That was,” I took a large intake of breath “wow” I let it out. Jason chuckled and leaned back in his chair “I’ll see you at lunch?” I bit my lip and nodded.
With a few pecks to his lips I said my goodbyes and watched him drive off. I adjusted the trap of my bag on my shoulder and spun on my heels. As I walked through the campus my mind ran with a thousand thoughts. I knew my limits with Jason, I had Josh in the palm of my hand.
I had them right where I wanted them.
