I'll Spank You

I walked out of Mrs. Parker's class in a fit of anger with Jocelyn right behind me. "Tori. Tori please slow down and just tell me what's wrong. Tori. Tori!" she called after me. I tried to ignore her but the worry in her voice forced me to stop.

She stood in front of me and blocked my way, crossing her arms over her chest and staring into my eyes. "Ok. What's wrong with you?" she asked, adjusting her purse on her left shoulder.

I sighed and tried to look away from her but that was a pretty hard task. "I'm fine. Don't worry about it" I replied, trying to get passed her. She moved in front of me again and I glared at her. "Viemore, I'm not playing with you," I said. "I'm not playing with you either Patchett. Now tell me what's wrong" she said strictly.

"Jocelyn…I-I-I…can't. I just can't, Ok? For once, just let this go and don't worry about it…for me?" I said, putting my hands on her shoulders. She shook her head and I sighed. "Damn, you always were stubborn". I moved to my right quickly and moved past her but she grabbed my hand and spun me back around.

She pushed me against the wall and I glared at her. I grabbed her waist and spun her around, pinning her against the wall. She gasped and I smirked at her. "Are you trying to bring up past events? I remember we used to do this whenever you wanted to know something and I wouldn't tell you what it was. I thought we out grew this," I laughed.

"Yeah, well I wanna know. Please Tori. I bet you've already told your other friends. Why can't I know?" Because then you would know how I feel about you. "Because I don't wanna get you involved," I said.

She pouted and laid her forehead against my shoulder. "I love you just as much as they do," she said. I don't know why but…it kind of hurt to hear her so that. I let go of her and looked around, realizing we had a small audience after I pinned her against the wall.

I looked down at the floor in embarrassment and Jocelyn didn't even notice them. "You're picking up Candace again today right?" she asked. I just nodded. "Good. I'll talk to you after practice. Love you," she said, walking down the hall. "Love you too," I said, watching her leave.

"Man, you've got it bad". I turned around and saw Adam and Maxie. "Fuck you Adam. We have Government together next right?" I asked. "Yeah, I think we do. So, how are things between you and Jocelyn?" he asked with a smirk on his face.

"Just peachy. How are things with you and Claire?" I shot back. He shrugged. "Don't know. Haven't seen her all day" he replied. "You two have the weirdest relationship. When you're together, you're practically inseparable. But when you're apart, you guys barely communicate with each other" Maxie said incredulously.

Adam just shrugged again and smiled. "That's just how we are".

Government

We walked into the classroom a few minutes late but Mr. Cole didn't really seem to care. We were watching some boring war movie so I don't think it mattered anyway. Maxie sat in the back with Adam and I saw Izzy's red hoodie so I walked up to the front and sat next to her.

"Tori bear!" she sing-songed. I just smiled and she laid her head on my shoulder. "I saw you talking to Jocelyn this morning. Did you tell her?" she asked. I looked down at her. "When did you see us?" "When I was walking past your class this morning and don't change the subject. Did you tell her?" she repeated.

I shook my head. "Nope. And I don't think I will" I mumbled. "Although they were getting pretty hot and heavy over by the wall". We both looked down and saw Maxie swatting beside my chair. I glared at her.

"We were not! We've been doing that since we were little," I argued. Maxie held up her hands in defense and smirked. "Sorry, but it looked a little more than childish antics to Adam and me" she shot back. Izzy giggled and I glared at her as well.

"I thought you guys were supposed to be my friends…so why didn't you tell me about Victoria?" I growled. They got quiet and Izzy leaned off of my shoulder. She took my head and made me look at her. "Hey…" she said softly.

I avoided her gaze and she frowned. "I'm sorry but…we wanted to tell you in person" she stated. "How long?" I asked. "Before the end of Sophomore year. She's part of the reason Jocelyn and Jeremy broke up apparently. Jeremy had sex with her and Jocelyn found out" Maxie replied.

"And she wasn't mad?" I asked, glancing over at Maxie. She shook her head. "Nope. But she was pissed at Jeremy. I guess she went easy on Vicky because she's gonna have his kid". I cringed when at her words and Izzy let me go.

"I'm so sorry Tori. I know this is a lot for you to take in. I mean, your ex-girlfriend getting pregnant by Jocelyn's ex-boyfriend. What are the odds?" she said. I frowned. "She was never my girlfriend. I just feel so bad, you know? I used her! I used her in the same fucking way that he did and now she's fucking pregnant and I feel like it's all my fucking fault!" I said angrily.

"Ok, language. No need for all that. And plus, it is not your fault. You told Vicky from the start what was going on and I'm sorry that I called her your girlfriend…but what else can I call her? You guys were 'together' for 3 months," Izzy said, using air quotes around together.

I shrugged. "I don't know but…I didn't love her. I could never love her the way I…" I glanced around the room and luckily for me, Maxie and Izzy already knew what I made. "It's Ok Patchett. Adam and I are going to swing by her place after school and go talk to her. You wanna come with?" she asked.

I shook my head. "I have to talk to Jocelyn after school. I'm finally gonna tell her…" "That you love her?" Izzy interrupted in a whisper. I shook my head. "No. About Victoria. She still doesn't know remember?" I said.

Izzy made an 'O' with her mouth and nodded in understanding. "Plus, just thinking about Vicky being 5 months pregnant gives me the chills…she is 5 months pregnant right?" I said, looking over at Maxie. She nodded and walked back over to sit by Adam.

Izzy leaned on my shoulder again and sighed. "I'm really sorry Tori Bear. I should have told you," she said softly. I scoffed. "I'm kind of glad that you wanted to tell me in person though. I wouldn't have been able to deal with this on my own…so thanks Izzy" I said, as softly as she had.

She leaned up and kissed my cheek, making me groan as she laughed. "This…is why…people think…we're together!" I growled in mock anger. She just rolled her eyes and smiled. "So what? You're my best friend and I love you," she said. I smiled back at her. "I love you too Izabella" I said, looking and finally noticing the movie.

After School

I saw Candace walking toward me in the hallway and she glared at me. "You almost embarrassed me in front of Maxie!" she hissed. I smirked at her. "Actually sis. You did that on your own" I said chuckling. She just pushed by me and headed out the door.

"Tori, are you going over to Vicky's with Maxie and Adam?" I looked over my shoulder at Carly and shook my head. "Nah sorry. Are you?" I asked. She nodded and walked over to me. "How are you by the way?" she asked, taking my hand.

I sighed. "Had better days but I'm good," I replied, half smiling at her. She ran her hand over my thumb and pulled me into a hug. "You have to talk to her," she said, pulling away from me. "I will, but on my own terms". Carly nodded and after saying a friendly 'good-bye' headed out the door to the student parking lot.

Izzy walked over to me with her back bag in her hand. She dropped it on the ground and I smiled, opening my arms so that she could hug me. She wrapped her arms around my neck and I wrapped mine around her waist.

"I'll call you later Ok?" she said, picking up her bag and slinging it on her back. I nodded and she kissed my cheek. "Bye Tori Bear" she said, waving at me as she left. I stood there in embarrassment before heading out the door toward my car.

I saw Adam, Maxie, and Carly drive past me and I waved at them. "Tori!" I saw Jocelyn walking toward me and I smiled at her. "Yo Viemore!" I said, waving at her. Yo Viemore? Come on Patchett. Get it together!

"Hi. Now, are you going to explain things to me?" she asked, trying to tame her hair that was blowing around in the wind. I looked at the ground and scuffed the toe of my shoe against the gravel. She pulled my shirt and I looked up at her.

"Tori…don't shut me out. Just tell me," she said, staring into my eyes again. God, she had complete control over me. Why is it that whenever she stares into my eyes, I get lost. It's like she knows she practically makes me melt when she does it. I don't know how long we were looking at each other but I heard a horn and we both looked in the direction of the sound.

I saw Candace leaning over the steering wheel in my car and I glared at her. "After your cheerleading practice…I'll tell you everything" I said sincerely. She pouted and laid her head against my shoulder again. I loved when she does that.

"Ok. You better" she teased. I smirked at her. "Oh, I better? What happens if I don't?" I teased back. She smirked back at me and pulled my shirt again. "I'll spank you," she whispered. I tried hard to hold back the moan in my throat and she laughed.

"Ok, that was embarrassing. But really, you better" she said, walking away from me. I ran over and wrapped my arms around her waist from the back. "So I really won't get spanked?" I said slyly.

She laughed and pulled away from me. "You're insane. See you later. Love you!" she yelled, heading toward her car. "Love you too," I yelled. I watched her go again and headed toward my Gold Infiniti.

Candace smirked at me as I slid into the passenger seat with a shit-eating grin on my face. "What?" I asked, looking over at her. "You are sooo corny" she replied chuckling. I flipped her off and started the car, getting behind Jocelyn's as we headed toward the Gymnastics center.
