I got ready for school and made it downstairs, knowing there's no way Henna would let me out without having breakfast,

"Morning, Henna." I yell as I step into the kitchen.

"Morning, How was your night?" She threw me a sweet voice.

"Short." I groaned, pouring myself a cup of water, "I studied all night, so I wasn't able to grab that much sleep...I hope I don't drool off on my answer sheets."

"You would do fine." She assured me.

"I hope so.." I mumbled.

"What would you have?" Henna was cut short by a husky voice,

"Henna, please make me a cup of coffee?" David made his way into the kitchen, all built and bossy.

"Yes, of course." She quickly went to get, backing us, "Would you like some toast to go with it?" she asked him, with her backs still turned,

"That would be fine, thank you." He answered and I rolled my eyes at him, "Alison?" he smirked.

"Mr. Hertz?" I sneered and took a chair at the table. I couldn't trust myself, my body tends to go wild around him.

He pulled out and seat next to me,

"How's the preparation going?" he asked, obviously teasing me,

"Fine, and how's work?"

I felt a sensation and I glanced underneath the table to see his hands greasing mine, he was so corny,

"You are going to get us in trouble.." I mouthed to him.

"Here you go." Henna turned and I snapped out of it, "Be careful." She dropped the cup of coffee and plate of waffles in front of him, "Is there anything else you need?"

"No, thank you." He gave her a polite smile,

She nodded and turned away again.

I sighed and tried to finish eating.

"Nervous." he whispered, sipping to his coffee.

I nodded in response. Besides the butterflies I got when I was around David, I felt tense about the exams.

I haven't covered a lot, and if I failed I might not graduate. "You will do fine." He said and took my hand into his.

Luckily, Henna had her attention on the stove to notice anything behind her, "I love you." I mouthed to him and he gripped even harder.

But we quickly parted hands, noticing Henna turning around again, "Run along now, or you will be late for your exams."

"Sure." I stood up and got myself ready to leave, just then I had an idea to get me off things, "Mr. Hertz, can you drop me off at school today?" I said remembering to call him by his last name so Henna won't get suspicious, she already thinks I'm seducing him.

"David do you mind?" She begged him for me.

"Sure.." He dusted himself up, "Wait outside, let me grab my keys." He said and walked towards his office.

"Bye Henna." I yell, running towards the door.

"Good luck." She yelled after me.

I stood outside humming to a song as I waited for him and beamed as I felt him approaching. I quickly turned to take a proper look at him again, he's so gorgeous.

"You can wipe that smug off your face, you'll have to study hard on the way." he pressed his keys and unlocked the door,

I opened the door and got in with him.

"I'm so tired..." I let out yawn as soon as we got settled in the car.

"Did you get any sleep?"

I shook my head and laid back on my chair.

"Buckle up." He said and started the car.

After a while, I pulled out my texts and began revising.

David focused on the road, letting me study.

I wasn't getting through anything but just looking at it helps.

"I was thinking we could spend the day together, after my exams." I muttered and glanced up at him, "I know we can't go to the hotel, so I found a new place on the internet, it's really quiet--" I continued talking, but at some point It felt like I was just speaking to myself, "Are you even listening to me?"

"Who were you talking to last night?" He waved in out of nowhere, with his eyes still on the road.

"I heard you laughing on the phone last night, who was it? was it Matt?" He sounded angry, which was baffling.

"Are you serious right now?"

"Alison, I need to know who you talk to...."

I hated it when he got all jealous and possessive. He becomes this whole different person.

"It was Dylan if you must know." I finally got a Dylan on the phone, he said his uncle got really sick and he had to miss school to take care of him, "David, I really don't want us fighting, especially on a day I'm supposed to be writing my final exams." I scolded him.

He sighed and his eyes got warmer,

"I'm sorry." He said and took my hand into his, but I wasn't having it, "I shouldn't have brought that up."

"Whatever," I muttered and looked away,

I got tired of explaining to him how much he meant to me, he never listens, sometimes it felt like he can't trust me and it's frustrating.

"So what's this new place called?" Oh, now he's interested.

"Don't worry about it.." I was so upset,

The car came to a full stop and I didn't even realize we had arrived at school.

"I'm going." I opened the door to get out.

"Ali?" He stopped me by the arm.

"David, I'm late!" I snapped.

"I know....just look at me."

I rolled my eyes with a sigh and turned to look at him,

He doesn't speak for a second and then says,

"Goodluck." He smiled warmly, confusing me even more. One minute he was sweet, the next he was all possessive and shooting daggers at everyone, it was really hard keeping up with him.

I just nodded, I was too upset to reply.

"Just breathe, Alison.." I muttered to myself and placed my thoughts away. Not minding anyone, I made my way into the exam hall spaced with other students, and settled down.

I just had to focus on acing my finals and graduating.

The principal and the teachers were already distributing the sheets when I came in, I prayed and waited patiently for mine,

"You have four hours to write this examination and the next, your time starts now. Goodluck." The principal informed us and then we started.

After my dreadful exams, I made it out of the school and sat on the bench, waiting for David.

I wasn't sure why I was waiting, since I am still pretty mad at him, but I can't help that I love him. After my exams, I sat outside and waited patiently for David. He was supposed to pick me from school an hour ago, three hours later and no sign of it.

When it became obvious he wasn't coming.

I got up and started walking home.

It's unlike David to break his promise, I thought as I walked home.

I was humming some songs to keep myself distracted when I noticed a suspicious car following me from behind, I noticed it before,

With my movie instincts, I gulped in fear and began walking faster.

"Ali?" A familiar voice called,

I didn't bother turning to see who it was and just fastened my steps.

"Ali stop! it's me."

I stopped on my tracks and turned, to see Matt in a blue Benz. Could this day seriously get any worse? I thought.

He pulled up beside me,

"Get in."

"Go away." I fastened my steps.

"Ali?" he called again,

"Stay away from me or I will call the cops." I yelled and continued walking, where are these guards when you need them?

I heard the car engine go off and what felt like a car door opening, I turned my head swiftly and noticed him coming towards me.

"Matt! just leave me the hell alone." I yelled, I couldn't risk David seeing me with him again just after I promised to stay clear off him.

"Stop," he said, grabbing my elbow.

I jolted his hand off me with a frustrated sigh,

"what do you want?"

"Just get in the car and let me take you home." he said in an irritated tone,

"I'm not going anywhere with you, I'm not even supposed to be talking to you, just leave me alone."I pushed him away and continued walking.

"Have something to tell you, it's really important, so please get in the car?" he trailed behind me.

"Nice try." I snorted.

He doesn't say anything else and I was glad,

But the feeling didn't last long,

"It's about the agreement our parents made." He paused, waiting for my reaction.

"Real petty Matt!" I turned to walk away.

"It was all a lie," He whispered, but I heard every word making me turn quickly to him.

"What are you trying to say?"

"The whole ritual was a lie to make your parents agree to merge companies." He explained further.

"We are not engaged after all?"

Honestly, that was the only thing I got from everything he said,

"That's good." I sighed in relief, I never believed the story anyway, it was stupid. "Why are telling me this Matt?"

"Just a way of saying I'm sorry." He stepped closer. I swallowed a lump in my throat and prepared myself for the next two words that were about to come out of my mouth,

I never imagined I would ever say them to him,

"Thank you." I let out and twisted my lips.

He nodded, staring at me intently, which was a bit weird,

"I should go now." I said, pointing at my direction.

"Let me drop you." he pleaded again,

I was worried about David getting the wrong idea, he's already suspicious.

"I can't be seen with you." I told him and turned to leave.

"Ali, please."

I didn't turn back this time, I just continued walking, hoping he would understand and leave me alone. I didn't get far when I heard what he yelled next.

"I'm in love with you."

I froze, stopping on my tracks.

He moved towards me,

"Ali?" he pulled me out of my trance, "I said I love you." He leaned even closer, "I realized after you left--"

"Matt, I think you should stop." I warned as his lips were now inches apart from mine,

"Can I kiss you?" he whispers,

I was still in shock.

Wake up, Alison!

Stop him! my inner voice screamed from inside,

"Stop it!!" I finally managed to yell, when someone came out of nowhere and yanked him off me.

David Hertz

I was in a meeting, "Sir, I think that's a great idea, because looking at this statement, their company doesn't have enough funds to afford a merger with us."

Then I looked at the time and cursed under my breath,

"I have to go." I got up and left. I forgot I was supposed to pick Ali from school.

I arrived at the school in barely 30 minutes, but she was nowhere to be seen.

She probably got tired of waiting and decided to walk home,

I decided to trace her steps, she couldn't have gone far.

I was gradually driving through the empty streets when I caught her standing on the side of the room with someone and without thinking I got out of the car and grabbed him away from her,

Fucking bastard,

I'll kill him!!!

"Alison, get in the car." I growled,

Matt smirked as if amused,

"I missed you too buddy, should we hug?" He laughed.

I tightened my grip on him making it hard for him to breathe,"You haven't learned your lesson?" I gritted and crashed my fist hard on his jaw, causing him to fall.

He laughed, blood rolling down to his mouth.

"Just taking what's mine," he let out a triumphant smile.

I pulled him off the floor and punched him again, causing him to tumble on the floor again,

"Get up!" I dragged him up and leaned to his ear, "you have to get through me first before you can get your hands on those company papers, Matt."

He chuckled turning his eyes to Alison,

"I don't have to,"

My blood boiled,

I hit him harder, and he took each beating with a laugh,

that just added fury to the fire.

"Stop it!!!l" Alison screamed suddenly and began crying, "David, please stop." Why was she defending him?

"She's finally seen your true side." Matt uttered mockingly, "You're a startling man, Hertz." he laughed, the mere amusement on his face made me want to choke him to death, my whole body was itching to do it, but I couldn't risk scaring Alison anymore, I had already done enough damage.

I gave a sign and my men came rushing out, and took him off my hands,

"Jealousy sure doesn't suit you, Hertz." he laughed as they took him away, before I did anything I would regret,

I dragged Alison by the wrist and pulled her towards the car. She yanked away, as soon as we got to the car,

"That was unnecessary." She snarled and got into the car.

We rode in silence. David didn't say a word to me, but I could feel the rage radiating off his body, he was pissed and trying really hard not to lash them on me,

He was never the type to express how he felt and that usually drove me insane.

The car came to a stop and I realized we had arrived,

"Go inside and get some rest," he whispered with a flicker of anger.

"Where are you going?" I asked,

"I have some business to take care of, get some rest."

"We will talk in the morning," he cut me off.

I stared in silence for a while, before reaching for the door,

"Be careful." I told him as I got down from the car. I couldn't help but worry where he was heading with all that anger emanating out of him.

I stood by the entrance and watched his car drive off before deciding to go in.

"Ali?" Henna called as she caught me walking through the door, "What happened?" she noticed the grim on my face.

"I'm going to bed.bGoodnight." I hurried upstairs to my room, thankfully she didn't follow.

I woke up by exactly 3.00 A.m, feeling a bit disturbed. I stared up at the ceiling and replayed everything that transpired today, from Matt confessing his long-suppressed feelings and David almost killing him, that was so terrifying to watch,

I have never seen that away.

He got home a few hours ago and still hasn't come to see me, nothing killed me more than his silent treatments,

I had to make him listen to my own side of the story, so I could get past the guilt in my guts,

I gained a little confidence and got out of the bed, deciding to see him myself. I would be lying if I said I wasn't scared or nervous, scared that he might still be pissed and nervous that he might lash out on me.

I tiptoed out of my room, careful not to wake Henna and found myself in front of his bedroom door. I inhaled deeply before turning the doorknob and walking in,

"David?" I whispered as I approached his bed.

He looked fast asleep,

How could he be sleeping?

I went and sat at the edge of the bed, watching sleep.

I sat there for a moment, trailing my fingers along his cheeks and admiring how delightful he looked even while he was asleep.

I could literally count the number of times I have seen him like this and not working.

Well at least one of us is getting some sleep. I decided to let him sleep,

"I'm sorry, David." I whispered and turned to walk away.

"Where are you going?" His voice cut through the silence, stopping halfway to the door.

I turned to see him wide awake,

"I didn't mean to wake you." I stutter.

He sat up and stared worriedly at me,

"Are you okay?"

I nodded and stepped closer to him,

"I couldn't sleep." I paused before speaking again, "Are you still mad at me?" I asked.

He reached out and grabbed my left hand,

"You disobeyed me."

"I'm so sorry." I said sharply,

"But I trust you," he said and pulled off the covers, "Get in."

I smiled and got in bed with him,

"Get some sleep, we will talk in the morning," he whispered, kissing my side. That just made me feel ten times worse. He trusted me, I knew that but I still feel I owed him an explanation for what happened, there shouldn't be any room for doubt between us,

"David?" He started.

He hummed with his eyes closed,

"Matt tried to kiss me today." I said, expecting him to get mad possessive, but he wasn't mad,

"It's over, get some sleep." That's all he said and then wrapped his arms around me, protectively.

A week went by and I didn't see or hear from Matt, and things were going really well between David and me.

It was a thrill that all the tension was almost over.

Graduation was finally here and I was so excited. I get to graduate and experience new things in life, all those late nights studying actually paid off and I passed, I didn't get all As but I got to graduate with everyone.

I was currently settled amongst other mates at the hall, and casually looking back for Dylan, he promised he would be here,

"Is this seat taken?" Someone chirped in, I could recognize that Scottish accent anywhere.

I smiled,

He gave me his famous smile and sat beside me,

"You look very beautiful," he said.

"Thanks, you too." I gave him a warm smile.

"Excited?" he asked, noticing how uncomfortable I was,

"More like nervous."

The realization that there won't be any soul around to cheer, troubled me, plus I hate facing the public alone.

Jay reached and rubbed my hand,

"Do what I do when I'm faced with a lot of people, just picture everyone naked, I assure it always works everytime...just don't do it when your parents are in the room, I bet you, you don't want to see that." I laughed with him before mouthing a thank you,

"You're welcome." he mouthed back.

"Where's Beth, I don't see her around?"

"She won't come, she thinks high school and life is overrated." He said, before a girl came and took him away, "See you around, Alison," he yelled to me as she dragged him to the front row,

I laughed, he was so silly.

Then chewing unto my lips again, I looked out for Dylan, he had to be here, he's the valedictorian.

I grinned when I caught sight of him walking into the room in a dashing black tux,

He notices me and walks over.

"You're late."

"I'm here." he made his point, then stared at me mesmerizing for a while, like I was the most gorgeous girl in the room, "You look beautiful, Alison."

"Thanks." I beamed, "You don't look bad yourself, I never thought a day would come where I would catch you in a tux."

He chuckled slightly,

"Don't get used to it." he said and took the empty spot next to me,

"Do you have your speech ready?"

"I guess so.."

I smiled at him before turning to the event. "I got into a MIU." Dylan waved in and I gaped.

"My God! Dylan, that's amazing."

I was really happy for him.

MIU had always been his dream university since I could remember.

"Thanks." he smiled, "What about you?"

"I'm thinking of applying somewhere in Sydney.." I told him. MIU was my dream university too, but I'm glad they haven't called back, nothing is worse than the thought of staying away from David, it would be a nightmare.

Inevitably my name was called,

"Congratulations." Dylan smiled as I got up to take my long nervous walk across the stage.

"Congratulations, miss stone." The principal gave me a sweet smile, while I leaned closer to take a picture with him.

I could hear some random cheers coming from the audience, which had me surprised because I never thought anyone in this school knew I existed enough to cheer for me in the first place.

I stepped down from the stage and walked back to my seat, getting a lot of congratulations on the way,

I answered with a smile,

Dylan was no longer seated when I got back to my seat, he was climbing on the stage to give his speech, I was so proud of him.

My best friend was valedictorian, I could get used to that.

After his heartwarming speech and the long lecture from the principal, the ceremony finally closed and we were officially graduates, everyone rushed to their families.

I just took a few pictures and said my goodbyes to everyone I knew, especially Emma for being such a great friend.

"Hopefully, we will meet again in the future, take care, Alison." Emma said lastly before returning to her parents,

Dylan had an emergency to attend, so he had to leave graduation early, but he promised to stop by before leaving for MIU.

I was ready to head home,

I quickly slipped out of my heels and headed towards the limo David arranged for me, since he couldn't make it himself.

I couldn't wait to get home and spend the rest of the graduation in his arms, that will definitely complete my day.

I stopped on my tracks abruptly--

David was leaning against a red car, with his hands in his pocket, dressed in his usual suit and tie.

"Congratulations, princess," he came over and handed me a key.

"Wait, this is mine." I gasped at the car.

"You deserve it."

I jumped in glee, I couldn't believe he got me a car.

I didn't know how to drive, but still... I finally had my own car.

"Wait, I thought you couldn't make it?" I was even more excited to see him.

"I won't miss your graduation for the world, princess," he pulled me by the waist, not minding we were surrounded by nosy teenagers and gaping parents.

"I have a surprise for you?" he whispered.

"Another, you must be full of it today."

He chuckled and opened the door for me.

"Can I drive my new car?"

"Not a chance." Didn't think so,

I jumped into the car anyway and took a final look around, seeing this would be my last day in high school.

In no uncertain terms, high school was hell, high school was a misery, but the good thing about it is that it only happens once and when it ends you are left with overwhelming expectations about the future, I knew I was.

I turned to look at David, I was excited to know where the future takes us.

The drive home was short and quiet.

David appeared to have gotten lost in his own thought. What could he be thinking? Shrugging, I looked out of the window and pondered on everything I had to accomplish now that I was out of high school.

We pulled into the house and headed straight into the kitchen, "Where's Henna?" I asked as we stepped in, the house seemed awfully quiet,

"I gave her the day off." he responded.

I nodded, understanding,

I watched him head to the cabinet and pull out a bottle of champagne and two glasses,

"Let's toast to you." he said as he popped the bottle of champagne, he poured me a glass before pouring himself one, "To a brighter and happier future."

We clicked our glasses and took a sip as we stared and smiled at each other.

After a while, I put my glass away and moved closer to him, wrapping my arms around his shoulder,

"How about that surprise?"

He smirked, "I was thinking we could go out for dinner tonight, you pick, anywhere you want." He smiled down at me and I laughed internally.

I had no intention of having dinner tonight.

"I had other plans in mind for us tonight." I told him.

"Where do you want to go?"

He's so clueless.

I bit onto my lips, thinking of a less desperate way to say it,

"I just want you." I uttered.

He started at me cluelessly and I gave him a minute to catch up, but nothing, he's so oblivious . Oh for Christ sake! "I want to have sex." I finally said it out loud.

"Oh!′ he lets out in realization.

Okay, this is awkward.

"So..." I stretch, staring at him, "Are we doing this or not? I'm done with high school--" I start to take off my clothes.

He swallows thickly and I emit a tiny gasp when I note the familiar glazing of lust and ignited desire over his eyes,

It was as if I had enchanted him,

"Are you sure?" He asked and my lips widened into a sparkling grin,

He smirked and wasted no time, swooping me over his shoulder and across his bedroom.

He laid me down gently on the bed and quickly began undressing me,

This was it, we were finally doing it...

I swear I had imagined this moment since forever, the feeling of his body against mine, the sensation of my panties clearing my hips, lifting whatever haze I was in.

He leaned back and looked at me,

"Are you sure you don't want to wait?" He asked again and I nodded without a doubt, at this point if we stopped I would surely lose it.

He locked gazes with me and continued taking my clothes off. I watched him carefully, capturing every image of his body, he's even sexier than I imagined him...
