鈥淜elly, Kelly, wake up!鈥 I shout. Kelly laid in my arms as I try to get her to open her eyes.

So much blood

鈥淐ome on baby, stay with me. I can鈥檛 lose you, not right now.鈥 I say on the verge of crying.

鈥淗ey, man I her...鈥 Kevin ran out of the house saying, but stop dead in his tracks once he saw Kelly. 鈥淲ha... what happened?鈥 He asks shocked.

鈥淗elp me get her to the fuckin house!鈥 I shout. We both gently pick up Kelly鈥檚 body and bring her into the house placing her on the couch.

My hands never leaving her wound.

鈥淐all Cass, and tell her to get over here fast,鈥 I order Kevin. Cass lived only a few blocks away, she would be here in minutes. I look at Kelly, and she looks horrible... dead almost. It was killing me seeing her like this.

I鈥檓 going to kill whoever who did this

Kevin and Cass came into the living room. Cass looks shocked at first but quickly got to work on Kelly, 鈥淚s she going to be okay?鈥 I ask Cass.

鈥淭he bullet didn鈥檛 hit anything on its way out. But I don鈥檛 know if she鈥檚 stable until I finish.鈥 Cass says, her thick accent noticeable.

I pull my self together and wipe Kelly鈥檚 blood off my hands. 鈥淜eep me updated on her. Don鈥檛 let her die.鈥 I say, sternly to Cass. She nods her head and continues to work on Kelly. I bend down and take Kelly鈥檚 hand placing a kiss on it. 鈥淒on鈥檛 leave me angioletto. We still have things to do together.鈥

鈥淜evin let鈥檚 go,鈥 I say walking out the house and into the car.

鈥淲here are we going, boss?鈥 Kevin ask.

鈥淭o find the son of a bitch who did this,鈥 I answer, driving off.

Everyone was here, gathering around the living room. It was noisy and crowded. Confusion was marked on everyone鈥檚 face. Once everyone was here, I signal for the doors to be shut. 鈥淓veryone shut up.鈥 My voice booms throughout the room. Everyone quiet down and look at me. 鈥淪omeone ordered a hit out for my girl. She was shot just outside of my damn house.鈥 I explain, remembering all the blood Kelly had lost. 鈥淔ind whoever put the hit out. I want them found now. Do whatever you have to do.鈥

Everyone left out the room, going to do what they were told. Once they were all out the room I take a seat and pull out a bottle of liquor. My head was pounding, and for the first time in years, I felt like crying. But I wasn鈥檛 going to... I couldn鈥檛. I had to be strong.

Hours later-----

Each hour that went by I made sure to call Cass and check up on Kelly. 鈥淏oss, I got something,鈥 Kevin says barging into my office. I quickly jump up from where I was sitting. 鈥淲e found some guy trying to get rid of a car. The same car you describe to be exact, with a bunch of guns in the backseat. We have him downstairs now an---鈥 I didn鈥檛 even let Kevin finish.

I grab my gun from my desk and storm downstairs. Walking into the chamber I lock the door. No one was going to disturb me. I look at the body that sat on the chair, only to see that he was half my size... only a teenage boy. He was tied down to the chair with a cloth in his mouth. I walk over to him and point my gun at him. Fear flashes through his eyes.

Good

鈥淚鈥檓 going to ask you some questions, and I expect you to answer them all truthfully or I will kill you,鈥 I say in a serious tone, keeping my gun pointed at his head. He nods his head, and I take the cloth out of his mouth.

鈥淗ow old are you?鈥

鈥淚鈥檓... I鈥檓 nineteen.鈥 He stutters.

鈥淲here are the other guys that were in the car?鈥

鈥淭hey... they are at the San-Antonio hotel. Room... 312.鈥

鈥淲ho ordered the hit?鈥 I finally ask.

鈥淚... I don鈥檛 know. I鈥檓 a rookie, I... I was only supposed to shoot. But I couldn鈥檛... I couldn鈥檛.鈥 The boy stutters.

I believe him. 鈥淲hat鈥檚 your name?鈥 I question, removing my gun away from his head.

鈥淛... James.鈥

鈥淲ell James, you should鈥檝e never joined a gang,鈥 I say. The look of confusion strikes before his eyes and before he could say anything, I lift my gun and shot him. Blood drips from his head and onto the floor. His lifeless body stares into oblivion. I wipe James blood off my face and walk out of the chambers with only one thing on my mind.

Find whoever hurt my girl

Kevin was already outside of the chambers waiting for me. 鈥淕ather up the men, and load up. We鈥檙e going to the San Antonio hotel, room 312.鈥 I say.

鈥淪ure thing,鈥 Kevin says, walking away.

銆娾偐銆

鈥榃elcome to the San Antonio hotel.鈥

The sign of the hotel caught my eyes as I park the car. Pulling my piece out of the glove department, I step out of my car. My men follow behind me as I search for the room door. 鈥淲hy couldn鈥檛 we just ask for room service?鈥 Kevin鈥檚 annoying self-asks.

It took everything in me to not to roll my eyes. 鈥淏ecause dumbass if we did that then room service would鈥檝e called them,鈥 I reply.

鈥淭hat makes sense,鈥 he admits. I just ignore him and continue to search for the room. I came to an abrupt stop when I found the room. 鈥淵ou three go around the back.鈥 I signal out to three of my guys. 鈥淚f anyone tries to escape, shoot them.鈥 Everyone gets into the formation, hiding where the men in the room wouldn鈥檛 see them. 鈥淜evin, knock on the door,鈥 I order.

Kevin looks at me then, back at the door. 鈥淪ure thing Fratello,鈥 He responds. Kevin鈥檚 knuckles hit the door three times until he took a step back.

鈥淲ho is it?鈥 A thick Hispanic voice ask.

"Casa de Mantenimiento,鈥 Kevin says in a low feminine voice. Everyone look at Kevin with confusion.

If it was under different circumstance, I would be laughing my ass off right now

The lock on the door made noise as it flew open. The look of shock flashes through the man鈥檚 eyes and before he could do anything my bullet was in his head. We storm into the room only to find, three other men with shocked faces.

Why the fuck is everyone so shocked

Before any of the men could move to grab their gun, I point my gun at them. 鈥淲oah, slow down, I only want to talk,鈥 I say, causing them to stop. 鈥淎nyone of you speaks English?鈥 I ask.

"Si,鈥 one answers.

鈥淲ho ordered the hit?鈥 I ask. All three men look at each other then back at me. They were hesitant to answer. I inhale and release pulling the trigger. The body of a middle age man falls to the ground. Gasp came from the other two men. 鈥淪orry I have a trigger finger problem,鈥 I say waving my gun in the air. 鈥淣ow, anyone wants to tell me?鈥

鈥淚t... it was Leo Russo. Your father,鈥 One states. I was hit with confusion but didn鈥檛 let it show on my face. I knew my father was a man that always does things uncalled for, but this... I never knew he would stoop this low.

鈥淲hy did he do it?鈥

鈥淲e... we don鈥檛 know. He just told us that she was in the way.鈥

鈥淟ook we鈥檙e sorry fo---.鈥 The sounds of my bullets echoes throughout the hotel room.

鈥淕et rid of them. Burn the bodies or something I don鈥檛 care, just get rid of them,鈥 I say walking out the room.

鈥淚鈥檓 going to kill him. He crossed the line.鈥 The sound of my phone ringing brought me back to my thoughts. 鈥淚t鈥檚 Marc,鈥 I answered.

鈥淪he woke up. She鈥檚 asking for you.鈥 Cass says.

I felt my heart squeeze. 鈥淚鈥檓 coming right now,鈥 I say, hanging up the phone and driving off. This was good, Kelly being awake. I need answers.

銆娾偐銆

I unlock the door to the house and walk to Kelly鈥檚 room. She looks better than a few hours ago. I sat down beside her and I couldn鈥檛 help to notice how beautiful she looks. Even in a condition like this, she looks like the most beautiful women I鈥檝e ever met.

鈥淚 know I look horrible, but jeez do you have to stare so hard,鈥 A weak voice jokes, causing me to smile.

鈥淢y angioletto, you still don鈥檛 get it, do you. You look beautiful no matter what condition or time it is,鈥 I say, kissing her hand.

She smiles. 鈥淲hatever you say, Marc,鈥 She responds, finally opening her eyes.

鈥淜elly we need to talk,鈥 I say, getting serious. She stares at me for a minute before responding.

鈥淎bout what?鈥

鈥淵our past.鈥
