Chapter 8 🔵 Continuing
I’ve been in my room for the past 3 weeks. I couldn’t deal with the fact that I had killed someone. It was as if there was a broken record in my head. I keep seeing flashbacks of me pulling the trigger, and Leo’s lifeless body on the ground. I had finally managed to kill, the person who had caused me so much pain in my life. Yet I just couldn’t find it, in myself to be happy.
People could label me a lot of things, and now a killer would be one of them.
I’m overreacting to this whole situation
The thing that haunts me the most, is the thought of never seeing my daughter again. I yearn to be able to see her... to touch her.
Everyone would come up, to try to talk to me, but I only push them away. The only person who truly understood what I was going through was Lena. She would come up here every day just to feed me and help me with doing my daily hygiene. I find it crazy that she wants to be in the same room as me. Seeing that I’m the one who killed her husband.
The sound of my room door slamming open, causes me to snap out of my thoughts. “Kelly get up,” Lena commands, opening the blinds.
“Why? What’s going?” I ask.
“For the past few weeks, I’ve come up here and watch as you sit in this room looking completely miserable. I know Tesoro that your hurting, but you have to realize that we all hurt in life. You have so many people downstairs who love you and care for you. You’re not in this alone.”
“I’m sorry, I just... I killed him.” I stutter. As much as I hate it, I could feel the wetness of my tears falling from my eyes.
“Kelly,” Lena says, coming to my side hugging me. “Yes, you killed him. Embrace it, because that’s what’s going to make you strong. I want you to know that, I’m not mad at you. I will never be mad at you, because of what went down.”
“Now go take a bath, I hear Marc has some surprises for you.” I nod my head and walk into the bathroom, letting the water touch my body. I walk out with a towel wrap around me.
“About time you finished.” A voice says from behind. I gasp turning around, only to see that it was Marc. “Marc what the fuck, you scared me.” I screech, causing him to chuckle.
“I’m sorry angioletto, I couldn’t help it.”
“What are you doing in here?”
“I just wanted to see you. Considering the fact that you kick me out of our room.” He says, walking towards me.
I sigh. “I’m sorry, I just needed... space.”
“I understand angioletto, just promise me something.”
“Next time you need space, don’t push me away.”
“Okay,” I whisper, latching my lips onto his.
“God I missed you.” He groans, biting down on my lips.
“Is that so.” I tease.
WARNING! SEXUAL CONTENT READ AHEAD!
“Yes, angioletto.” He says, pushing his pelvis into me, causing a moan to escape from my mouth.
“Marc.” I moan, unbuttoning his shirt.
“Only you can do this to me, Kelly.” He says, grinding into me. He picks me up, causing my legs to wrap around him. He settles me onto the bed, wasting no time in tossing his shirt across the room. His bare chest in sight. Climbing over me he unwraps the towel that shields my body. His eyes darken at the sight.
“It’s been too long.” He says, touching my breasts.
“Way too long,” I say.
He starts kissing my neck and trails down to my breasts giving them both equal attention. His hands start to move downwards, as his lips kiss the inside of my thighs. I arch against him when two fingers begin to work inside me. His thumb rubs around my sweet spot and my eyes roll back into my head. Crooking his fingers and hitting my spot, my moans turn into one long, high-pitch scream as I reach my climax.
I shudder against him, my legs quaking. “You’re so damn beautiful,” Marc whispers.
“I love you,” I whisper, my hands moving to his jean zipper. He gets off the bed removing his pants and briefs, before slipping back into the bed. He locks eyes with me as he thrusts inside me. His thrusts gain a steady tempo, making every moment count. I found myself pulling the sheets because of his pace. “Don’t stop.” I moan breathlessly. He kisses my lips, continuing what he was doing. I grab his back, wrapping my legs up around his body, pushing him deeper. “I’m gonna cum,” I say.
My eyes roll back, just as he grunts with effort, panting and sweating until finally, we cum.
SEX SCENE DONE!
“I love you too.” He says rolling off me, pulling me to his side.
“Lena said you had a surprise for me.”
“Two, to be exact.” He says.
My ears perk up. “What is it?”
Marc smirks. “Go look downstairs.”
He didn’t have to tell me twice, I got off the bed and quickly put on some clothes running downstairs. Walking past the hallway, my eyes settled on a red box. Bending down I open the box, only to gasp at the furry little animal.
“You’re so adorable.” I coo, picking him up.
“Not as adorable as you,” Marc says, wrapping his hands around my waist.
“I can’t believe you got me a puppy.”
“I know right, it just shows how good I am.” He responds, with a sly smirk.
“Oh, whatever,” I reply.
“Did you even read the note that was in the box.”
“Look in the box.”
Picking up the note from the box, I read it. ”Kelly once you read this letter I’ll already, be in the car gone.” I turn around and notice, that Marc wasn’t here. Shaking my head, I continue reading. ’You angioletto are going on a treasure hunt. Since you are so smart, I want you to meet me where we very first met.′
“Where was the first place I met Marc?” I question myself. “The park. I met him at Middlebrook park.” Running up the stairs, I make my way into my room closet. Picking out an outfit to wear.
When I was finally done, I make my way outside and walk to the park.
Opening the park gates, I realize how much memories I have at this place. Looking around I see that there was no one here. Which was weird, since it’s Sunday.
‘Zing!’ I look down at my phone and see that it was a text, from Marc. ‘Look closely, and follow the rose petals.’
I smile. Searching, my eyes finally land on the rose petals. Following the trail, I couldn’t help but wonder what this surprise was. The trail of rose petals finally stops, leading me to a swing. ‘Zing!’ My phone pings. ‘Sit and close your eyes, no peeking.’ The message reads. Sighing I did as I was told, sitting on the swing. My eyes shut, as I waite for whatever it was to happen.
Giggling. That’s the first thing I hear. ‘Marc doesn’t giggle.’ I thought. I felt an uneasy feeling in my chest. This giggle was a child’s giggle.
“Open your eyes angioletto,” Marc whispers, in my ears.
I didn’t waste any time, my eyes flicker open landing on the most beautiful child I had ever seen. I feel my heart clench, as I watch her play in the sandbox. “How?” I whisper, tears forming in my eyes.
“I’ll tell you later. Just go talk to her.”
“Thank you, I love you so much. You have no idea how much this means to me.” I say pulling him into a hug, plastering kisses all over his face.
He smiles. “Go.” Marc pushes me forward. I walk towards the little girl who was now leaning against a tree, watching me intently.
“Hi,” I say, approaching her. She looks kinda scared.
“Hi.” She whispers, looking down at her shoes. She’sshy, just like me.
“I’m Kelly, what’s your name?”
“Da..eei,” She says, stuttering a little bit.
“That’s a beautiful name for a beautiful girl.”
She blushes. “Thank-ju.”
“Tell you what Dani, how about we play a game.”
She quickly shakes her head. “Daddy says do-n’t play wi-th strangers.”
Damn Leo. “You listen to everything your father always tells you?”
She smiles, showing her little teeth. “Yes, he al-ways gives me ice cream when I’m a good girl.”
“I’ll make you a deal. You play two games with me and I’ll get you all the ice cream you want.” I say. “Deal?”
“Well, let’s go play.”
For hours I play with her, witnessing everything that she would let me. I’ve known her for only a few hours, and already know a lot about her. A part of me was hurt by the fact that, I already missed so much in her life. But I have to get over it and focus on being a good mother. “Can we go get ice cream now?” She asks.
“Sure thing hun, let me go get Marc,” I say. She nods her head continuing to build her sandcastle. Walking towards the man I would forever love, I place a light kiss on his lips. Whispering a, “Thank you.” Once again.
“Stop thanking me, Kelly.” He groans.
“Oh whatever, you know you like it.”
He couldn’t help but smirk. “As a matter of fact, I do.”
I chuckle. “Anyways, princess Dani has requested ice cream.”
“Princess huh? And does Queen Kelly happen to want ice cream too?”
“Yes, I very much do.” I smile.
“Okay I’ll get Dani, but could you go in my glove department and get my glasses.”
“Why would you keep your glasses in the glove department?”
“It was a last minute thing.”
“If you say so,” I say, going into the car. “Where are his stupid glasses?” I ask myself, searching for the glasses in the glove department. Wait a minute Marcdoesn’twear glasses. My eyes land on a small box and I couldn’t help but open it. I gasp, at the huge ring inside of the box. Shock was an understatement. Stepping out the car, I stop dead in my tracks.
Marc looks at me with the brightest smile on his face, on one knee while Dani stands right next to him. “From the first time I saw you, I knew that you would be an important part of my life. I know that my father has caused you so much trouble in life, and I sincerely apologize. I love you so much and I just want to be with you. I want us to laugh together, to smile together, to cry together, to share our sadness and happiness together. There is no place beautiful for me in this world, but when you are with me, every place and everything looks beautiful. I just want to be with you forever and always. I want us all to be a family, so Kelly would you do me the honor of being my wife?”
I was in tears by the time he finished. Damn,I’ma crybaby. “I thought it was only two surprises?”
“I’ve decided to add another one.”
I chuckle. “Do you promise to get me some hot fries whenever I ask?”
Marc chuckles. “Yes Kelly, I promise to get you some hot fries whenever you want.”
“What do you think I should Dani?” I ask. She looks back and forth at Marc and me.
“Mar-ry him.” She says, with the cutest smile on her face.
Me and Marc laugh. “Then I guess the only thing left to say is yes,” I respond. Marc quickly gets up pulling me into a kiss.
“Eww,” Dani says covering her eyes, causing me and Marc to laugh.
“Can we get ice cream now?” Dani asks.
“Sure thing princess,” Marc says, placing her in the car. “I can’t wait for you to be Mrs. Russo,”
“Me too,” I say, kissing his lips once again.
“Let’s go,” Marc says, opening my door.
We drove off the park land and onto the road. I turn on the radio just as the song,Ifeel it coming by the weekndstarts to play.
“I love this song,” I say to Marc.
“You love every song.” He corrects.
“Not every song, I hate...”
“Country songs.” Marc finishes.
I couldn’t help but smile. “How’d you know?”
“I pay attention.”
“Are we gon-na see da-da?” Dani asks.
I didn’t say anything, I didn’t know what to say. I look up at Marc for help. He glances at me for a second, then back on the road. “Dani we’ll.” Marc clears his throat. “After we get some ice cream well go...”
He didn’t get to finish that sentence. He didn’t see it coming. In fact, none of us seen it coming. A car smashes into ours, causing us to flip around. Shards of glass fly everywhere and the car keeps spinning. I scream at the top of my lungs, trying to process whatever just happened. The car finally stops spinning, and Dani’s loud cries were heard. I wanted so badly to calm her down but I couldn’t. “Dani baby just breathe, for me.” I could feel the blood oozing out of my head, but my legs were the problem... I couldn’t feel my legs. “Marc... Marc.” I call, shaking him to wake up.
He lets out a low groan, waking up turning to me in complete shock. “Kelly, oh my God Kelly are you okay?”
“Marc... I can’t... I can’t feel my legs.”
Fear flashes through his eyes. “I’m going to get youangioletto."
I quickly shake my head. “Dani first.”
He nods his head, as he tries to unbuckle his seat belt. But the seat belt wouldn’t budge. “I have to get you guys out of here... I need to save you guys.” He says. “Why won’t this damn seatbelt unbuckle?!”
“Marc it’s okay...you got this, just calm down.” He didn’t say anything but let out a breath, finding another way to get out. Dani keeps on crying, and my heart aches. “It’s okay baby, don’t cry. I’m right here, everything... everything is going to be alright.” The smell of gasoline was strong in the air, and I already know what that means.
“I told you to stop the car, not run them off the road.” A voice says.
“You heard that?” I ask Marc.
“I heard.” Taking a sharp object out of his pocket, Marc cuts the seat belt causing him to land in an uncomfortable position.
“I’m sorry sir.” Another voice says. I hear the sound of a gunshot go off, and foot steps walking towards us. Marc kicks the rest of the glass shards on the window, trying to get out but it was too late.
A familiar face pops up at the window, with a sinister smirk on his face. “Casie.” I whisper.
“You son of a bitch, you did this,” Marc yells, trying to get out the car.
Casie chuckles. “You killed my sister Marc, it’s only right I get revenge.”
“You don’t have to do this,” I say.
“I’m sorry Kelly, but I actually do. Big Boss ordered it.”
“What does he want?” Marc asks.
“That my friend is for you to figure out on your own.” He says. Turning to his men. “Get the kid and Marc out. Make sure the car burns.” He looks back at me. “With her in it.”
I panic. His men somehow open the backseat to the car and pulls out Dani. “Kel-ly!” She yells.
“Dani baby.” I cries. She was now out of my sight. They open Marc’s door, pulling him out the car trying to keep him down. But Marc didn’t go out without a fight, he punchs the men that were trying to get him.
“Angioletto, I’m so sorry,” Marc says trying to get me out the car, but I was stuck.
“It’s okay Marc, I love you.”
“I love you too baby, I’m gonna get you out of here.”
“No your not,” Casie says, knocking Marc out.
“Casie please,” I beg.
“Blood for blood Kelly.” He says, dragging Marc away. I was now left alone. The car was on fire, and the heat was now rising. I could feel my flesh start to boil as I start to lose consciousness. All the good and bad things that I had witness in my life, flashes before my eyes and I couldn’t do anything but laugh. I had overcome so many things in life, yet this was how I was leaving the world. “I love you Marc,” I say one last time, as my world falls into darkness.
“I am the girl who lived in a house with an abusive fuck. The girl who people never cared to listen too. The girl that guys never looked at and girls laughed at. I’ve come a long way from struggle and hardship. I am who I am, because of the shit that I’ve been through. I am Kelly Moore and,
We are who we are.”
