Chapter 5 🔵 On my mind⚫

I was beyond pissed right now. After Marc and I had our talk, I decided to try and leave without him knowing. I didn’t get as far as I had planned because as soon as I jumped out the window, Marc’s men brought me right back into the house. We went to my house, or should I say my old house, and got some of my clothes.

I couldn’t believe that I was finally leaving my home behind. It felt... refreshing. The only reason that I’m mad right now, is because we’re boarding Marc’s jet. I’m afraid of heights. My body was shaking, and I’m pretty sure that I’m sweating. The jet doors open and Marc walks in. He looks back at me with an unreadable expression and sighs. “Would you come on already, I’m already late enough,” He says annoyed.

Apparently my little act of trying to escape made him late. I gave him the meanest glare I could muster up and storm onto the jet. I have to admit, though, this jet is nice and very spacious. I sit in one of the seats and take out one of my favorite books. It’s called 3 am Kisses, by Addison Moore. I swear she writes the best books. I feel Marc take a seat right next to me but ignore him. There was plenty of empty seats on this jet for him to sit in, and the fact that he was sitting next to me made no sense. I could feel his gaze on me, so I close my book and look up at him. “You need something?” I ask.

A smile appears on his face. “Yes, I want you to read to me.”

“Because I want to hear your beautiful voice,” he responds, causing me to blush.

“Why would you wanna hear my voice? I sound like... I can’t even explain it!”

“You have a beautiful voice, start reading, I’m getting bored.”

“Okay,” I reply. Opening up my book, I start to read to him. It felt like hours went by, and soon my eyes grew heavy. My head rests on a very warm pillow, and I fall asleep.

I felt like I was being carried and struggled to open my eyes. Sleep was so good right now, and I really didn’t want to open my eyes. My head was resting on something warm, and I snuggle into whatever it was. I hear someone chuckle, but I ignore it and snuggle more into the warm object. “You must really like my body heat,” Someone whispers. I didn’t say anything, just nodded my head.

I feel my body being placed on something soft. I think it was a bed. I groan, missing the heat. “Come back, heat,” I mumble. I heard someone let out a chuckle. That chuckle sent shivers down to my core. I focused back on my sleep. Hearing shuffling in the background, and the bed dip. Something warm wraps around my waist and puls me in closer to the heat. I sigh in delight and fall back asleep.

I don’t know what it was, but something was poking me, in my lower back. I move my hips back and forth trying to figure out what it was. I finally realized that there was an arm wrapped around me. For some odd reason, I didn’t panic. I turn my body around so that I was face-to-face with him. Whatever that was poking my backside, was now poking my front. I could hear him whispering my name in his sleep.

My eyes trail from Marc’s sleeping face, down his body. My eyes bulge out of their sockets when I finally see what’s been poking me. It was Marc’s, boner. Oh, my lord, he has a boner. A huge one, to be specific.

Wow, it looks so... there aren’t even words to describe it.

The weird thing about it was that he had on boxers, and I felt an urge to take them off.

My uncle was right, I am a whore.

What is wrong with me.

Lifting my hand up and I gently shake Marc. His eyes open up bit by bit, and he stares at me. A small smirk appears on his face, making him ten times more attractive than usual. ,“Good morning angioletto, what’s up?” He asks.

I thought over my choice of words before speaking. “Apparently, your junk,” I state. I watch as he looks down at his boxer and smirks.

“Ignore him, he’s just really happy.”

“You seemed like you were really happy too. I don’t even want to ask what you were you dreaming about.”

“It was a really good dream. I’m gonna make breakfast, you can go ahead and freshen up. Morning breath doesn’t go well with you,” He says, laughing. I feel the heat rush to my face, and I jump up and run into the bathroom. I could hear him dying of laughter on the other side of the room.

That was embarrassing

“I’m just playing, angioletto. I smelled nothing, I promise.” Marc shouts. I glare at the door. When I hear his footsteps leave the room, I get into the tub.

Step out the shower and grab a towel, drying my self off. Walking out of the bathroom, I take some clothes out of my suitcase and get dressed. Walking into the kitchen I sit on the stool and watch as Marc, places food onto the plates. He set my plate down in front of me and sits by me with his food. “So, what do you wanna do now that we’re in Mexico?” Marc asks.

“I haven’t really thought about it. I have to start on my school work, then read. So I don’t think that I have time to really do anything.”

“You’ll have time,” Marc says, before glancing at the time. “Um, I have to go handle some business, but when I get back I’m taking you out.”

Marc scratches the back of his head. “I have a friend coming over to... to watch over you while I’m gone,” Marc starts. I was going to object but he stops me. “I know your eighteen, but it’s just for your safety, and so you won’t get bored.”

“Okay,” I said. Marc stands up and places his dishes in the sink. I did the same.

“I’m gonna go get dressed,” He says, going up the stairs, I only nod my head. Just when I was about to go upstairs there was a knock at the door. I turn and head towards the front door. Not even thinking, I open the door to see who it was. It was, Kevin.

“Kevin, what are you doing here?” I ask surprised.

“Well hello to you, to Kelly,” Kevin says. “I’m the one that’s going to be watching over you, while my best friend is gone.”

“You and Marc are friends?” I ask.

“Since kids,” Kevin responds. I never saw him around as a kid when I hung out with Wyatt. The only person that hung around Marc when I was there was, I gasp.

“Fat boy K?” I shout shocked.

Kevin’s face turns into a glare. “As we both can see that was in the past. I’m sexy now.”

I burst out laughing. Fat boy K was Kevin. We use to always see each other at Marc’s and Wyatt’s house so we kinda became friends. Wyatt and I use to always prank him. I hear footsteps come down the stairs and Marc appears in the living room. I couldn’t say anything because I was still busy dying of laughter.

“Kelly, why are you laughing so hard?” Marc ask confused. I pointed over to Kevin.

Marc follows my finger and sees I was pointing at Kevin. “Why is she laughing?” Marc asks him.

“Fat boy K.” Was the only thing that Kevin said. Marc chuckles and shakes his head at me. Kevin only rolls his eyes and walk into the condo. I wipe the little tears that formed in my face from laughing so hard and stand up.

“I’m sorry, just some flashbacks,” I say to Kevin.

“Whatever,” Kevin says.

“I’m gonna go now angioletto,” Marc says. “There’s security outside so if you need anything ask them or Kevin.

“Okay,” I just realize that he was wearing a suit. He looks really good in it. I guess this is how he dresses like when he’s going to handle business.

“Once I get home we’re going out,” Marc reminds me, snapping me out of checking him out.

“Got it,” Marc walks over to me and places a kiss on my cheeks before walking out the door. I couldn’t help but touch where he kissed me, a ghost smile playing on my lips.

“Looks like someone wants to knock boots,” Kevin says.

“No, we don’t,” I say, unsure. “He may have feelings towards me but I don’t. I can’t.” I whisper that last part to myself.

“You don’t feel like that because of what happened a few weeks ago, do you?” Kevin asks.

He knew

“You know what happened with... my uncle,”

Everybody probably knew.

“Yes, it’s pretty much been the talk of the town.”

“I’m gonna go get started on some homework,” I start walking out of the living room.

“Sure, if you need me I’ll be smoking,” Kevin says. I stop dead in my tracks, and turn around, looking back at Kevin.

“Mind if I join?” I ask. “I haven’t smoked in a while.”
