Chapter 175.

Olivia's POV.

"It's beautiful," I comment when we walk into our room. I still can't believe that he proposed! It feels so surreal.

"I'm glad you love it," he pecks my lips and walks to the bathroom. I sit on the edge of the bed and look at my hand. The old ring is no longer on my finger and seeing the new one makes me really happy.

"Here," I look at Tay and he has a bottle of water and two blue pills.

"What is it?" I ask, confused.

"You haven't taken your PrEp pills and 72 hours is close to set," he informs me and my eyes widen in realization. I have been into this trip that I forgot to take the pills. I take the pills and swallow and drink the water after.

"Thanks," I tell him and he just nods in return. I can not believe how much he changed. Months ago he wanted me to have the virus and now he is reminding me to take pills that prevent the virus.

I change into my pajamas and get under the duvet. Tay follows and pulls me closer to him, and my head rests on his naked chest.

"What time are we leaving tomorrow?"I ask.

" 10 am," he says and continues to brush his thumb against my arm.

"I don't want to go," I confess.

"I know but we have to. We have Andrews's wedding to attend," he reminds me.

"I know, " Andrews's wedding is in 2 days.

"And babe?"

"Yes," I look at Tay.

"Happy Valentines and birthday," he says and I can feel my lips forming a smile. I totally forgot about Valentine and my birthday but it the best birthday ever!

"Thank you," he kisses my forehead. I can not believe that I am 20 now. With everything that has been going on felt like I was already 20.

"Is Nate coming back for the wedding?" I ask. To be honest I miss him and his sweet jokes.

"Yeah, he called me in the morning that he is in Johannesburg," he informs me and I nod, and yawns.

"Sleep, we have a long day tomorrow," he says and I close my eyes to sleep.

The next morning I woke up alone on the bed. I yawn and roll off the bed. I walk to the bathroom and take a shower. I dress up in jeans and an oversized hoodie. I leave my hair in a messy bun not bothered to fix my hair and walk downstairs.

I enter the kitchen to find two guys grabbing our bags.

"Hey," I say and Tay turns to look at me.

"Hey?" He walks to me and wraps his arms around my waist.

"What's wrong?" He asks, tucking my hair behind my ear.

"I honestly don't know. I just woke up feeling like crap and tired." My rest my forehead on his chest and he continues to hold me.

"Do you want something to eat, drink? Do you have symptoms of the flu?" He asks, worried, and a smile forms on my lips.

"No, I just feel tired. I want to go back to sleep, "

"Okay, let's go and you will sleep in the car," he grabs my hand and we walk out.

"Babe?" A hand touches me and I open my eyes looking around.

"We arrived," Tay says and I look out the window to find a jet. I have no memory of what happened during the drive. I climb out of the car and we walk to the jet.

I take the window seat and buckle up.

"Do you need anything?" Tay asks, kneeling in front of me.

"Water," I respond and he calls for the water.

"Do you still feel tired?" He asks, rubbing his thumb on the back of my hair and I nod. It is so weird that I feel so tired when last night we didn't do anything. Maybe it's the after-effects.

"Here," Tay hands me an open bottle of water and I take a huge gulp, and hand the bottle back.

I relax in my seat and my eyes doze.

Tay's POV

It has been hours since Olivia has been sleeping and I take her to the bedroom afraid that she will hurt her back. I walk back to the seats at the same time my phone rings.

"Jess?" I answer.

"Hey, how is everything going?"

"Good, we are on our way back. What did you find out?"

"I honestly don't know what is true or not, "

"What do you mean?"

"It looks like this is deeper. I had to go back to Andrews's mother's case. Remember the half brother he has that no one knows or has seen his face?" I nod but remember she can not see me.

"Yes?"

"It's him but there is more, "

"I am listening, "

"When last did you see Chad Brown?" she asks, shocking me.

" I don't know but it can't be him, Jess. He buried his mother. It's impossible."I argue.

"But what are the chances that he is the half brother we have been looking for? And he has been right under our nose?" She reasons but I shake my head no.

"It can't be," I repeat.

"He has been AWOL and suddenly your company is suffering! Come on,"

"Let's talk about this when I get back. We don't have proof that he is Andrews's half brother."

"Okay, If you say so." She says and hangs up. My mind is racing. I don't know what to think right now. Chad may be a lot of things but this? I disagree. I know him and I at least would have known if he was Andrew's half brother. He had a mother growing up so it's impossible for him to be Andrew's half brother. They don't even look alike. I push my hair back frustrated with all the theories.

I place my phone on the coffee table and walk to the room I tucked Olivia in. I find her still asleep and I take off my shoes and slip in the duvet facing her. I tuck her hair behind her ear and watch her.

"I love you," I say and continue to look at her. She looks so innocent sleeping and like a girl that hasn't seen the harshness of the world, but in reality, she has defeated it.

I peck her lips and close my eyes to sleep.

( wedding bells! Who is excited?)
