❝ In the end, people will always
try to reach others through words.
It’s our job to deliver their thoughts
and feelings no matter what. ❞

Second-year high school student, Seiya Mikage, is anything but readying for his future. As a shut-in otaku and an antisocial nerd, he feels he needs nothing but manga and anime to be happy. Much to his mother’s dismay, he’s on a one-way train ride toward living in a basement for the rest of his life.
At least, that’s until he meets Taiyo Fujikawa - an overly sociable boy in his year working part-time at Midoharu Post Office. When their encounter over spilled cola, a lost letter, and postman potential, bring the two into becoming acquainted, Taiyo is set on bringing Seiya to join the tiny staff team of Midoharu.
Little does Seiya know, the job he only signed up for to stop his mother’s nagging, becomes one of the most important places for him.
With each letter, a message is delivered. With every written address, a person is in mind. And with every day of work, Seiya’s slovenly, socially-withdrawn and meagre existence, learns something new.
A meaningful story of youth, comedy, written letters, cats and dogs, and spilled cola.

Hello everyone! First of all I’d just like to say thank you to those of you who have somehow stumbled across this story, and chosen to give it a read. Although it’s probably just another story amid the giant sea online, I am very grateful to those few people who have come across this book. I hope that you’ll continue to read further and enjoy it, on a journey alongside the characters.
This story was originally something I had written in 2016, processed on a raw Microsoft Word document amid the files of homework, on my humble PC. Back then my pet fish, who was a little white Betta named Snow, would swim around in circles because of how fast I would type. I don’t know if it was out of excitement from me cooking up a new story, or if it was because she was perturbed by all the clicking sounds. But it was very nice listening to the ripples of tank water next to me while focusing. Ah, those were the days. Rest in peace, Dear Snow. I miss you dearly.
After some reading through the original story, I thought I’d rewrite it. I’d like to dedicate some time and effort into reviving this old work of mine. It carries a lot of the raw feelings and angst my fifteen-year-old self held in during a comedically dark era of my life, thus why I’m bringing it back to life.
Anyways, again thank you to you all for reading this story and my writer’s message :3 I hope that you enjoy it! Please do leave comments and add this book to a reading list, I’d love to hear all your thoughts.

This is a work of fiction. Inevitably, all characters and the plot belong solely to me. Deriving from my own experiences and imagination. Please do not use any parts/characters of this story. I’m sure no one will anyways, since it’s not worth copying XD
If there are any errors/misconceptions, please let me know so I can edit through them.
