Simple Choices

All Rights Reserved ©

Life is made of decisions. In fact, it depends on them. It’s the only way forward. It’s how we meander the crossroads and it’s how we ensure mistakes are felt. Choices are the very defining moments that alter our existence. It is our choice to wake up each morning, and our decisions after, that allow us to determine the value of our days. Each decision creates a mark, and it is the very mystery of the next choice that ensues a reason to go on forward. For Veer Sharma it was his choice to enter the war and for Amal, it was her decisions that cost a life. The rest of this story is the in-between.

Author's Note:

Hi lovely readers!

So it’s that time of year again and this time I am super pleased to announce the launch of my new book; Simple Choices.

This story encompasses many themes including; love, military life and mental health and so I caution readers, as it is sensitive material. Like all of my works, the storyline is heavily researched but please feel free to point out any errors or plot holes.

I have also deliberately chosen to base this story in India and it’s neighbouring countries due to my own ethnic heritage. I have decided not to name any specific locations, due to the world’s current climate, aware that this matter is sensitive. I would also like to use this opportunity to say that neither myself nor my characters express a ‘side’ during this conflict, which simply underpins the story. Still, however, I apologise if my writing does cause offence and please feel free to point out any areas that are inconsiderate.

I also want to remind readers that this story is purely a work of fiction and any links to real-life events or people are purely coincidental.

I hope you enjoy this story and feel free to leave your comments and thoughts!

Love, Aamenah x
