Chapter 1: How it started

I woke up to the beeping sound of my alarm which was annoying to my ears. I woke up at 7:50 a.m. and looked out of the window from which I can see the empty playground. Staring at the playground, reminded me of my playful days where I used to go out with my friends and spent time with my perfect family about three years ago, and now all of that is gone.

Three years ago, Mom got a call from my school saying that I am in the hospital because I fainted and my nose was bleeding, Mom and Dad rushed to the hospital only to find out that I have leukemia, but what I didn't know was that it's gonna take my whole life away.

With my unhealthy condition, I was on strict bed rest, no school, no friends over, nothing - everything was fine - until one day Dad got a call from his Office that he is fired for not coming to the meetings and conventions and letting the company down. Then my parents started to have arguements, shouting, and screamings which I could not stand, I always used to lay in my bed, crying, in my small pinky girly room with my plushies and used to think that i was the reason all of this is happening.

And I was convinced that I am the reason, when two months later, my parents had financial crisis and Dad decided to divorce Mom becuase he couldn't handle my financial services like my treatments and medicines, Mom tried to stop him but he left. That night, Mom came into my room, and said "It's going to be fine" and I doubt that till this day.
