Chapter 3
It’s the next day already, I get up and do my makeup. My eyelashes look perfect. I was about to walk out the front door.
“Emily, what about breakfast?” Mom says.
And risk being late again? No way. I roll my eyes and walk out the door.
I just had physics it was so boring. Anyways now I’m at lunch with Brittany and Cammy. Gossiping as usual. They didn’t even notice my makeup yet!
“Yesterday was so fun.” Cammy said.
“I know right.” Said Brittany.
“Can you guys stop bragging.” I say.
“What do you mean?” Brittany says. She’s totally playing dumb. They are literally saying how fun it was after telling me to leave.
“Ugh, nevermind.” I say, they’re so frustrating.
School is finally over. I see Edward waiting at the front gate. I run up to him and he gives me a kiss on the cheek.
“You look beautiful today.” He says
“I’m wearing makeup...”
“You look beautiful with makeup.”
“Are you saying I look ugly without it?!”
“No no, I’m saying you look beautiful always.”
“Sure,”
“Anyways, do you want me to drive you home?”
“No, I’m fine.”
I leave full of thoughts, does he really think that way of me? I walk across the sidewalk, a car comes speeding towards me. Usually my first instinct would be to run.... but I couldn’t move... I don’t remember much after that. My head hurt... and my muscles ached... I heard noises but I don’t know what they were. I try to keep my eyes open but everything slowly turns to black.
