All the geeks are gathered together in each of their factions in the courtyard.

(Everyone freezes. Jonas enters stops downstage)

Jonas:

Hey, I’m Jonas. I’m kinda the new guy around here and I’m also a geek. Yeah, I know. Most people actually don’t believe me but I am. I actually heard that there were a bunch of geeky organizations here that I would really like to join. Let’s check them out.

(Jonas unfreezes everyone)

Akira:

Hey you! Hora-Hora!! Kochi Kochi! Are you interested in joining the Otakus? All your anime and manga needs can be found right here. Are you interested in ninjas? Here’s some Naruto. Are you into shoujo? Here’s Ouran High School Host Club. How about some sports? Haikyuu or Kuroko no Basuke? How about some action? You can get Boku no Hero.

Jonas:

Oh, sugoi!!!! But do guys also read comic books though?

Steve:

Did someone say comic books? Come here boy and I’ll show you what you need. If you like reading stories with pictures about heroes and villains, saving cities, and being part of a cool club of super friends, the ComicBookies is where you need to be. We’ve got Superman, Batman, Spider-Man, and Iron Man. Wonder Woman, Invisible Woman, Hawkwoman, and Spider-Woman. All the Smacks and Pows in action in one group right here.

Jonas:

That’s really awesome but are you guys also interested in like magic and folklore?

Jackson:

If it's magic and folklore you want, come and join us, the Fantasy-ans. We have witches and wizards, dwarfs and elves, and dragons of all kinds. From J.R.R. Tolkien to George R.R. Martin, we know several different lore. Your young siblings would join us once we mention that we adore reading books by Rick Riordan, Roald Dahl, and C.S. Lewis. Mythology isn’t too far off as we are knowledgeable of it too. Greek, Celtic, Norse, you name it.

Jonas:

That’s so cool. Are you guys also into like tech and space stuff?

Lucas:

If it’s galactic travel you’re looking for, come with us the Sci-fiers. You don’t have to travel to a galaxy far far away when we’re right here on Earth. We can warp you to everything you need to know about anything science fiction. From Ewoks to Wookies, Klingons to Vulcans, Daleks to Doctors, all the data will be shared once you come to our side of the force.

Jonas:

Oh, man this is really great. I would really like to join all of you.

(Music record screech and sudden quietness. Everyone is confused)

Lucas:

We don’t particularly communicate with anyone in the other groups.

Jackson:

You’ll have to roll a natural 20 if you want to be part of us but also be part of them.

Steve:

I’m sorry but to be a super friend you cannot be part of any other group.

Akira:

Gomen but you can’t be with us if you’re gonna be with them.

Jonas:

Wait what? Hold on. Time out!

(Jonas freezes everyone)

Jonas:

Did I just hear that right? All these orgs don’t like each other? I wanted to be part of everybody because well I’m a little bit of everyone but it seems that I can’t. And to think I was so excited about this.

(Jonas unfreezes everyone)

Jonas:

So… I can’t join all of you guys at once?

Lucas:

Sorry young padawan but you can only choose one.

(Everyone goes off stage except Jonas)

Jonas:

Well this sucks. So much for finding where I belong.
