“You’re so busted up. You and I have the same enemies.”

“You’re pretty attached to those Stark girls.”

“Who wouldn’t? They’re awesome.”

“I didn’t think you were the type to use that word.”



“I’m caught in some enthusiasms.”

“Yeah, we’re all enthusiastic.”

“Can you help me?”

“Then you’d be in my debt.”

“You’re calculating.”

“Dog eat dog.”

“I can live with that.”

“What’s it like to date a Stark?”

“You speak of them as if they were a condition to be avoided.”

“You’re such a talker!”

“People say you’re a masochist.”

“I’m listening.”

“And you wanted Wraithe to stomp you.”

“I got my fifty feet.”

“At quite a cost.”

“You boys don’t know what it’s like to play the game from this part of the field.”

“Corrected. But now he’s back.”

“My condition.”

“I am in your debt.”


“It’s time for you to relax your worries.”

“Are we having an exchange?”

“Time will tell.”

“I didn’t think you such a cliché boy.”

Screen walked away.

I went and got keys from Carrie, slipped into Mr. Green’s lab and counted seventy-seven vials. With enthusiasm.
