Cora's story

This Fanfiction was written with the permission of Rachelle Mills aka Whiskeyqueenn who created Clayton - All it took was one moment of stepping in insanity's embrace for Rya’s life to change forever.

I will be moving this story to this platform because of the WP problems. I do not want anyone who love the Wildflower universe to risk reading it on a site with malware or for Book Thieves to sell it on Amazon. It was written from the comments of the Wildflowers and belongs to them.

Cora’s story...

Sometimes forgiveness is the hardest thing to give and to accept.

One moment sent her on the path from hopeful teen to jaded adult and Cora began to question everything she was taught to believe about pack life, mates, and the Moon Goddess’s blessings. A girl forced to turn her back on her best friend because her parents were more concerned with their image and pack politics than the friendship of their child. Cora watched her friend be punished, and then Cora herself was forced by the Alpha and Beta to be the one to make sure she is isolated at school. Cora resisted but was punished by the Alphas, commanded to not even speak Rya’s name, of her rejection, or to her.

So Cora secretly tried to save Rya, by helping her through her rejection, by keeping the bullies at bay, by trading her future for her friend’s escape, ALL without Rya knowing. Protecting her even when her true mate won’t, almost walking away from her own mate, even threatening war. Her burning hatred for the Adams Alphas forged her into a cold, hard person and a warrior wolf who longs to stain her teeth with their blood.

Suffering for a friend can be noble, being their secret guardian angel can be difficult and painful, forgiving enemies instead of hating them is a struggle, but accepting forgiveness for one’s self is always the biggest battle. But can Rya teach her oldest friend forgiveness before it's too late?

Cora - a Sideline story from Clayton is dedicated to Rachelle and The International Wildflower Pack
