Chapter 13 : Your mine

Issac Collins POV

April 16th, Friday

It was a random Friday, to be honest, I really was not expecting her to barge in my office, but there she was Jeanette and all of her horrible Glory.

“You owe me, and today you’re going to pay your debts.” I looked at her like she was crazy.

“Yes, debts, Or, do you want me to call Rowan?” Jeanette said pulling out her phone from her pocket, I sighed.

"Fine, just put the phone down.”

“Ok.” Jeanette chirped happily putting her phone back into her pocket and walking out of my office.

Total favours left 1/10

Now in Jeanette’s office she asks for a drink of water I get her some and she takes a sip.

“Ew, is this warm water?”

“No, why would I give you warm water?”

“Well, it tastes like warm water, so get me cold water.”

Total favours left 2/10

And of course surprise surprise I bought her a glass of cold water.

Jeanette then asked me to get hurt a drink from Starbucks, of course, it was complicated as fuck.

Total favours left 3/10

"Yeah could you get me a Tr vacrm cold brew, 10 pumps of vanilla, 5 pumps of caramel, 5 pumps of classic syrup and another five pumps of white mocha with whole milk." She said all of that while filing her nails.

"Oh no, I wasn't done yet."

"You weren't?" I said almost scared at this point.

"Light coconut milk, light-heavy cream, light cinnamon dol on top, light vanilla powder."

"Vanilla powder? the fuck is that?" I ask.

"Something that you're going to be getting me, obviously, now stop interrupting me. Extra cream, light Ice, 10 full spoons of sugar. Light dark chocolate curls, extra almond milk, extra sweet cream and extra whip. know you can go."

I stared at Jeanette for a second with a hateful glare, then walked outside her office and ordered a Postmates, there's no way in hell I'm going into that establishment asking for that long of an order.

Once the Postmates guy got here he asked if this was my order.

"Sadly it is, it's a favour."

"Make sense, what kind of crazy person would get with this monstrosity of an order." Me and the Postmates guy had a good laugh then he left.

9:34 pm

Throughout the day I've been doing favours for Jeanette, they were all extremely tedious and annoying and now I have only one favour left.

"So, what is it now?" I said expectantly.

"What do you mean?" Jeanette said tilting her head to the side.

"What do I mean? You've had me running around here like a chicken with its head chopped off doing favours for you, I'm on my last fucking favour so tell me what to do so this hell can be over."

"I'm saving this last favour for something good, amazing even, I'm not going to waste it," Jeanette said then walked away leaving me completely dumbfounded.

Rowan's POV

It's been 6 months now and I don't really think me and Isaac had the talk with Lovey about the baby, so once Isaac comes home from work will tell her, unless she already knows.

I hear the door being opened and I walk out of my room passing the construction surrounding the house and walk down the stairs to greet Isaac, I walk over to him in the entrance.

"Hey, how was work?"

"Like shoving my hand through a meat grinder for hours, how have you guys been?" Isaac says while taking off his shoes.

"Good," I say simply, then I start walking over to the kitchen, but before I did that I walked back to the entrance.

"Is something wrong?"

"No, I just think we should tell Lovey about the baby since we haven't talked about him."

"What's there to talk about? She's having a brother."

"Isaac! come on."

"You worry so much."

We then call Lovey down the stairs and sit her on the couch.

"Soo Lovey we would like to ask you something."

"Okay," Lovey answered blankly with her legs swinging on the edge of her seat.

"Would you like a sibling?" Lovey took a second to answer, leaving us in immense suspense.

"No thank you," Lovey said then tried to get off the couch and walk away.

"Whoa whoa whoa, hold on a second speedy, why not?" Isaac asked, Lovey sighed.

"You know my friend Julie?"

"Julie?" Isaac thought himself.

"Since when have you ever had a friend named Julie," I asked.

"The one who's obsessed with bread."

"Oooh, Julie."

"Yeah, I remember her," Isaac said with a smile.

"Her parents had a new baby and she was invisible, they even forgot to pick her up from school.

"Oh yeah, I remember that, She ate so much bread

"How can that much bread fit into a tinny little girl?" Isaac wondered.

"And plus, babies are expensive."

"You're expensive," I said while crossing my arms above my chest and arresting them on my belly.

"Yeah, but at least I can say a cute little sorry, the baby we'll just be like a bag of mush, and they smell weird."

"Babies aren't bags of mush," Isaac said.

"Potato potahto, babies are weird and annoying."

"Well too bad, because we're having one," I said while rubbing my stomach.

"Really?" Lovey said with a weird look on her face.

"I just thought you were getting fat."

"Excuse me?!"

"Okay, this is getting out of hand."

"I'm sorry, I just didn't want to say anything, but if there's a baby in there could you take it back, please?"

"Lovebug that's not how babies work."

"But I don't want a sibling, could you please just give it away?" Lovey said tears welling up in her eyes, I sighed."

"Oh, mi Amor," I said while picking her up and putting her in my lap. " We will always give you as much attention as you need.

"No, it's not that," Lovey said while rubbing her eyes and sniffling.

"Daddy's going to be happy now that he's going to have a real kid." That took me by surprise, Lovey's sad that Isaac is going to have a real biological child.

"Love, you are my kid, I don't care what any stupid DNA test says, your mine.

"Of course."
