Chapter 5

“What did pops do to you, Kitty?” My cousin Justin asked, his eyes darting between the road and me.

I sighed, why couldn’t he just drive in silence and leave me the hell alone?

We just went into town today and we’re now on our way home. I had to buy some groceries so Justin offered to drive for me. It seemed that my stepfather couldn’t come and get me because he was out of the freaking country. He said he’d be back in two weeks.

Surely, nothing bad could happen within two weeks... right?

Yeah, right.

I groaned mentally before answering curtly, “Nothing.”

“Then why are you avoiding him like he has the plague since yesterday?” He asked again. I saw his eyes wander over my exposed legs for a second before going back to my face.

I scowled and glared at him.

I shouldn’t have worn this short. Stupid me.

“That’s just your imagination. Now drive, Justin. Leave me alone.” And keep your eyeballs to the road, perv.

I jumped when Justin suddenly brought his large hand on my leg and squeezed it. “You know you can tell me anything, right? I’m just right here whenever you need someone to help you, Kitty.” He said, he sounded genuine enough if not for his thumb rubbing my skin back and forth.

I coughed. “Ah yeah, thanks, Justin.” I replied carefully and scooted further into my seat, making his hand fall away.

He flashed me an amused, hair-raising smile before turning his head to the road.

After that we didn’t talk to each other until we arrived home. But his eyes still kept straying towards me every now and then.

Justin parked the car in the garage. I was about to open the door when I discovered it was locked. I turned to look at Justin and saw him already looking at me.

“Let me out, Justin.”

“Did he touch you?” He asked in a serious tone, making his deep voice sound menacing to my ears.

“What are you talking about, let me out, goddammit! Justin!”

He closed his eyes as if savoring something I said.

“I love it when you say my name, Kitty.”

The way he uttered that one sentence sent warning shivers across my spine.

He’s currently giving me that look. The one that he only usually gives me when he thought I wasn’t looking.

“Stop staring at me like that.” My voice went small with nervousness. I felt like I was being preyed by a predator, and Justin was a large predator. Ripped with huge muscles all over his body, he’s built almost like his ex-wrestler father.

“That’s not my fault.” He taunted.

“Justin, what are you doing? This isn’t funny!” I shouted at him, reaching out to the power lock button on the dashboard of the car.

Suddenly, Justin had one of his hands wrapped around my two small wrists. He pulled me closer to him, his face going down to me.

And then he kissed me. My first kiss. Taken by my own freaking cousin.

He had his other hand cupping the nape of my neck tightly. I was so shocked I sat frozen in my sit. His tongue darted out and licked my lower lip.

I gasped, and he quickly took the chance to force his tongue inside my mouth.

He groaned, I protested.

Oh God, what’s wrong with this family?

First, his father, and now him.
