Chapter 11

The plane landed and as soon as I got outside the airport. The wet heat hit me like bricks and I loved it. I had a driver pick me up and take me to my hotel. I was meeting with a realtor in two hours. I got myself some food and jumped into the shower. Mrs. Apple the realtor was meeting me in the hotel lobby at three pm. I got dressed and headed down to meet her. I couldn't wait to start looking at homes.

Once I got to the lobby I looked around for Mrs. Apple, but I didn't see anyone. I took a seat and just decided that she was running a little late. "Excuse me, are you, Miss. Walker?" I heard a voice say. I turned and a young man in a business suit with lite brown hair and his dark brown eyes were looking right at me. He was beautiful and I was intently attracted to him. I felt myself blush.

"Yes, I'm Page Walker," I said all shy.

"Oh thank god, I'm sorry. My name is Levi Brown. I'm Mrs. Apples partner and she has fallen ill. I hope you don't mind me replacing her today?" He said. Oh great now I've got to spend the day with this manly god. How am I going to function correctly? I said to myself.

"Of course that's okay. I'm just glad someone came. I don't want to have to live out of this hotel." I said smiling at him. He smiled back at me. Of course, I just stared at his smile.

"Okay great. I've got a limo outside waiting for us. If you're ready to go Miss Walker?" He said.

"Please call me Page," I said and he smiled again. I stood up and followed him out in front of the hotel. A black limo was waiting for us. The driver opened the back door and we both got inside.

"Mrs. Apple said you wanted to look at country homes?" Levi asked me.

"Yes, I don't really want to be inside of the city and Id like to have horses," I said. "Plus I want that old fashion look. I'm pretty much a simple type of girl. I don't need fancy things." Levi smiled again.

"I can see that about you." He said. I looked over at him and smiled and then looked away. After visiting about six different homes in the country. We started to pull down this long driveway. It was lined in beautiful green trees. "Now this home is a little different from the ones we have been looking at. It was built in the fifty's and is much smaller than the rest. The house sits on about ten acres and there is a large pound in the back. The home is only four bedrooms and two stories. There is no air conditioner, but the house is full of ceiling fans. Oh, and there are crazy amounts of windows." Everything he was saying sounded like heaven to me.

We pulled into a circular driveway and in the middle of the circle was an old run down fountain. The house was beautiful. It looked a little run down, but that's what I loved about it. we got out of the limo and headed towards the house. I looked to the left and there was an old barn. I smiled and so did Levi. "Oh, and by the way, there's a barn." He said. We walked inside and the house smells musty. It doesn't look like it's been opened in years. It was covered in dark hardwood floors and was very open. With tall ceilings and fans everywhere. I was already in love.

At the far end of the house was a huge set of double doors. Levi walked over to them and opened them both up. there was a huge covered porch that leads out to a huge pound. it was so big you could of put a boat out there. Levi then showed me the rest of the house and I was sold. I knew the moment I saw the house that it was mine. "You don't need to show me anymore homes today. This is my house." I said.

"Are you sure?" He asked me. I nodded at him.

"Yes, without a dough. This is my home." I said smiling. I walked around a little longer. Just looking at everything. There was going to be some changes I had to make. Only because some things were just too old and wore down, but that didn't matter to me.

"Do you want to stay the night here tonight?" He asked me.

"Can I do that?" I said. He smiled.

"Sure, at least that way you can get a real good feel for the place." He said.

"Id love to," I said. After about a week I was sitting on my front porch waiting for the moving truck to show up with all my things. Brandy had a break in school so she flew down here to help me get all moved in. Of course, she did nothing but complain about the heat and the fact that I didn't have any air conditioning. I laughed at her as I would open up the house and turn on the fans.

Levi and I got kind of close over the week. He was here almost every day with more things to sign. I was starting to think he was just making up stories to come over. Brandy was in love with him the minute she met him. I told her, too bad you choose not to live with me. All I got was her rolling her eyes at me. Another week flew by and I was pretty much set up in my new home. I really liked the fact that I was so secluded back here in the woods. I felt really safe and I left almost all the windows open at night. I closed the doors but when the sun rises I opened them again.

"One day someone is going to end up sneaking in here," Levi said as he came through the front door. I had just gotten back from dropping Brandy off at the airport.

"How did I guess I would see you today?" I said as I poured him a glass of tea.

"Are you tired of me already?" He asked. I just smiled at him.

"You can come over any time Levi," I said and winked at him.

"I just want to make sure your happy here." He said. I smiled again.

"Is that all?" I said. This time he smiled.

"Why Miss Walker, are you coming on to me?" Levi asked.

"I was doing no such thing Levi and the name is Page," I said while I leaned over the counter. He watched me closely.

"I think you were Page and I think you like it when I'm here." He said still with his eyes on me. I don't know what I was thinking, but I walked over close to him and pressed my body against his. I wrapped my arm around his neck and put my lips to his ear.

"I do like it when you're here," I whispered into his ear. His arm went around my waist and he pulled me even closer to his body.

"What are you doing Page?" He whispered into my ear.

"Making myself comfortable. Do you want me to stop?" I said. His hand went into my hair and he pulled my face to meet his.

"I'm going to kiss you." He said. I winked at him and our lips met. his kiss was deep and I lost myself in it. I wasn't ready to sleep with him. That much I knew, but I wanted his company and I wanted some sort of human touch. Spencer hadn't been on my mind in months. It was hard for me to let him go, but now that I had. I was ready to see someone else. I really liked Levi. He was charming and outgoing with a great looking body. He was always so kind and helpful. Plus he was always here. I knew he liked me.

We kissed and made our way over to my sofa. We made out like two young teenagers. I loved every minute of it. Maybe a little too much. His hands felt wonderful on my body. As he explored me under my shirt. "Levi lets slow down some," I said breathing deeply. I knew I wasn't ready for sex. At least my brain was saying so, but my body was saying something different. So I had to slow us down. I didn't want to do anything I would regret later. Plus I didn't want Levi thinking I was easy.

He sat back breathing heavy himself. "Why don't you let me cook you dinner here tomorrow night?" He asked me.

"That sounds nice. You know how to cook?" I asked him. He laughed.

"Yes, it's my other passion in life." He said.

"Then I'm looking forward to it," I said.

"I really like you, Page. I want to get to know you better," he said.

"I like you to," I said smiling. He came back down to me and kissed me again. After about twenty more minutes of us kissing and I second guessing myself. It was time for him to leave. We said our goodbyes and I was excited to see him the next night.
