Today was my second doctor's appointment and the day of my first sonogram. Both Leo and Dante were super excited about it. My first doctor's appointment was to confirm the pregnancy. Today I was four months along and we wanted to know the sex of the baby. I was also going to be doing something called amniocentesis. It's a test to make sure all is well with the baby. I hated needles and just knew I was going to be sick. I'm super excited about the fact that this pregnancy has been great so far. I've had no morning sickness and I don't feel crappy at all. My mother had horrible morning sickness. She warned me about how bad it was going to get. I just must be special, because I've had none.
I could hear Dante hollering at me from downstairs that it was time to go. I pulled my hair into a ponytail and rushed down to them. They were both ready to go. I wish I could say that they were both waiting by the door for me, but that wasn't true. Leo was already in the car. Turns out that Leo seems to be the most excited about this baby. Like always, Leo has become extremely clingy to me. That's nothing new, when I was sick and broken he never left my side. Dante took me by the hand and we walked out to the car. Leo jumped out and helped me in. I just shook my head at him and smiled.
The family had a private doctor and this doctor knew about our situation. That was a huge relief because I wasn't sure how I was going to explain Leo and Dante to my doctor. Thankfully she understood about us. Doctor Sky came into the room and Leo and Dante stood alongside me as she started to do my ultrasound. The first thing she did was let us hear the heartbeat. I've never heard the sound of a baby's heartbeat so I didn't know what to expect. It sounded a little off like it had a double beat. My guys were both smiling. "Okay, hmm, let's check something shall we?" The doctor said.
"Is everything alright?" I asked. She smiled at me as she put a cold jelly on my stomach and then turned on the machine.
"Just as I expected. Congratulations you three, it's twins." She said. All three of our eyes grew huge.
Just as she said that she pointed out the two heads. "Oh my god, I'm going to be huge." That was all I could say. My hand flew to my head. Of course, Dante and Leo were just full of smiles. This can't be happening, thanks, mom. I said to myself.
"Do you want to know the sex of the babies?" The doctor asked. Both of the guys looked at me. I nodded at them and Dante told the doctor yes. She did a couple of things and then turned to us. "Looks like you have two boys."
"YES!" That was all I heard from Dante and Leo. Great a house full of testosterone. I said to myself. I'm never going to get my figure back after this. She did the needle test and after my panic attack was gone we headed back home.
"I need to talk to the two of you about something," I said. Both of them looked at me. "I would like to be married before the babies come and here soon I'm going to look like a whale," I said.
"So what do you want to do sugar?" Dante asked me.
"I'd like to be married by the end of next month at the latest," I said. Leo smiled and Dante nodded his head.
"Alright, we need to higher you some help," Dante said.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Well sugar, pulling off a huge wedding in under a month is going to be a lot of work," Dante said.
"A huge wedding, what do you mean a huge wedding. I don't want a huge wedding." I said. Leo had laid his head in my lap and I was playing with his hair.
"Babe, the family is huge. If you don't invite everyone, some people will be offended. We can't disrespect the family like that." Leo said. I took a deep breath.
"Alright, a huge wedding it is," I said.
The night after my family headed back home, Dante, Leo and I had a long talk about how everything was going to work out between us. Legally, the three of us couldn't be married to each other. We decided that night that I would take Dante's last name. We also decided that Leo would go and change his last name to Marks as well. That way even though I could only be married to one of them on paper, we would all be Marks and we would know the truth. The family also had a private priest. Enzo arranged a meeting with him to let him know about our situation. There was no way I was only going to take vows with just one of my fiance's Even though on paper it would only say I was married to Dante, the wedding ceremony would take place with the three of us.
As far as the babies were concerned. The guys didn't care to know who they belonged to, but I wanted to know who the true father was. I don't know why it mattered to me, but it did. I told them if they really didn't want to know, that was fine and I would keep it to myself. They agreed to that. At the doctors, they both gave blood, so that the doctor could determine who the father was. I want a child from both of them, but I didn't want a ton of babies. If I knew who the father was then I would know who to get pregnant with next. That was my reasoning for wanting to know who the father was. I explained my reason to them and they agreed. Well, Leo agreed, Dante, on the other hand, wanted a house full of kids. Now I knew there would be at least three.
It was a week before the wedding and my mother and sister flew in to help with everything. The rest of my family would be along soon. I was already showing and I was starting to go through some mood swings. I thought I was doing good, but according to everyone else around me, I was a total bitch. Whatever, I didn't see it. I mean it's my wedding and I wanted it to go smoothly. I don't know how that makes me a bitch. Dante did his best to just let things go, but Leo, on the other hand, had no problem letting me know I was a bitch. Jerk off, he knew how to piss me off. I was getting to the point where I would get mad and start to cry. Of course, I would hide and cry, even though I knew how to stand up for myself. I would still hide and cry it out.
When my mother and sister showed up, we all went shopping for my dress together. I choose a simple baby doll style wedding dress to hide my tummy. It was elegant and beautiful. My colors for the wedding were blue and white. To honor my baby boys. The night before the wedding all the closest members of the family went out for a huge celebration dinner. There were about fifty of us. Half of who, I didn't even know, but I didn't mind. I sat with my immediate family and Dante and Leo. I sat there and watched everyone lost in conversation. I was truly happy because tomorrow I was going to be married. I didn't think life was going to get any better than this.
I didn't realize I was going to be so nervous. I took a deep breath as I soaked in my bathtub the next morning. I was going to be married in a few hours. I had a hard time sleeping the night before. I even got a little sick this morning. My stomach was full of butterflies. The headcount for the wedding came to over one thousand people and my house was full of gifts. Both wedding and baby gifts. My mother and father convinced Dante and Leo to take me to the Bahamas for our honeymoon. I had previously told the guys that they could pick the honeymoon destination. I didn't care where we went as long as we were together. My mom and dad love the Bahamas and figured I would to. Now here I sit in my bath trying to relax the best that I can.
My mother hired a stylist to come in and do my hair and makeup. I guess she figured the less I had to do the better. I needed to get out of this tub because the stylist would be here in less than an hour. As I sat on the edge of my bed, there was a knock on my door. "Come is." I hollered out. It was my father.
"Hello baby, how are you feeling?" He asked me. I stood up and walked over to him.
"I feel good," I said. He smiled at me.
"I brought you a couple of gifts." He said. He handed me two boxes. One was from Dante and one was from Leo. I opened the one from Leo first. It was a beautiful pair of sapphire and diamond teardrop earrings. I felt the tears start to sting my eyes. They were so pretty. I then opened the box from Dante. It was a gorgeous sapphire and diamond necklace. I tried my best not to cry and mess up my makeup.
My father was smiling at me as I did my best not to cry. "I've got one more gift for you." He handed me a long black box. I opened it to find a beautiful sapphire and diamond bracelet.
"Who is this from?" I asked him.
"It's from me." He said.
"Oh daddy, it's beautiful. Thank you so much." I said, and the tears fell from my eyes. I wrapped my arms around my father and he held my tightly for a moment.
"I'm so happy baby, that your happy." He said to me.
"Thank you, daddy," I said. "Will you help me?" I asked him and handed him my new jewelry.
I stood in the mirror trying to fix my eyes makeup and looking at my new jewelry as my father put my necklace on. "Your absolutely beautiful." My father said. I smiled at him in the mirror.
"Well, I guess it's time to go," I said and my dad nodded at me. Everyone was already gone and it was just me and my father. There was a huge white limo waiting outside for us. I held my breath as I stepped into the limo. My father sat next to me and took my hand in his.
"Don't be scared angel, your life awaits you. Your going to make a wonderful wife and mother." He said to me.
"Thank you, daddy," I said.
My father and I stood behind the double doors that lead to my future. The two men I loved more than life itself was waiting for me. My family and friends were waiting for me. I took a deep breath and my father squeezed my hand as the doors opened. "You got this baby girl." My father whispered and we took the first steps forward.
