Mitchell’s place sold quickly, and instead of moving to Jeff’s, I went straight to Trey’s. Jeff, RJ, Trevor and Nick are hauling the last of my stuff to Trey’s house – our house. He always corrects me on that. The two of them are already moved in, and I’m on my way. It took awhile for my brother and the other three to accept the two men in my life, but everyone gets along well enough now. No one will ever be ‘good enough’ for me, so to my brother, Trey and Mitchell will always fall short. His problem, not mine.
To me, everything is pretty much fucking perfect.
We’ve had a few rough moments where jealousy has popped up, but instead of freaking out – we’ve talked about it. It’s amazing how being actual adults can be a benefit now and then. Most of the time it is easily resolved – one of them feels the other is getting more time with me, has concerns about activities in the bedroom or whatever. Easy fixes. Rarely it requires more work, but that’s okay. True love is worth the effort.
I wouldn’t have thought it possible, but the sex has only gotten better. Maybe because our love and trust for one another has grown stronger? Whatever the reason, it’s a wonder I don’t walk with a bow in my legs from having them spread wide so much. No complaints. Life is exceptionally good indeed.
Puddin’ is already at the house, and as I take a last look at my now empty condo, I’m amazed at how much my life has changed. And all of it happened here. I met the loves of my life here. They broke my heart here. We saved one another here. I’ve never been one to get sentimental over things like this, but this condo will always hold a special spot in my heart.
Thank God for neighbours with shitty appliances.
