Chapter 25

He grabbed my waist and pulled me on top, eliciting a shriek from my mouth. My smile faltered the moment he gazed into my eyes. “What is it?”

“I’m fucking crazy about you.”

“You are?”

He nodded and swept a strand of hair off my face. “Yeah.”

“How crazy?”

“Crazier than I’ve ever felt, Summer.” He bit his lip and swallowed hard. “And that scares me.”

“Tyler...”

“Yeah?”

“I’m crazy about you too.”

A slow smile crept on his face, and his eyes lit up with my words. After a brief kiss, I pulled away and settled into him. “What are you afraid of?”

“Of you.”

“Of me? Why?”

“You’ve got so much power over me you don’t even realize it.” He wrapped his arms around my body and I took a deep breath.

“I don’t want power, Tyler, I want you.”

“I want you, too,” he admitted. “I’ve wanted you since that first moment I saw you in Ellie’s bedroom.”

A light chuckle echoed on his chest. “Really?”

“Given the chance, I would have fucked you right then and there.”

I lifted my head and raised my brows. “You had a girl with you that night.”

“I haven’t seen any other girl since the day you found me cuffed to the bed.”

“I’m sure you had chances. Why didn’t you?”

His hand rested against my ass while his lips curved up to a smirk. “I didn’t want anyone else. I couldn’t get you out of my head.”

“I don’t want anyone else either.”

“What about Liam?”

I tilted my head and gave him a mischievous grin. “If you’re interested in him, I do have his phone number.”

Tyler laughed. “Cheeky.

God, I loved the way he sounds when he laughs.

“I thought you got together with him, after we broke up.”

“I figured, but I don’t understand why?”

“I saw you two hugging outside Ellie’s place.”

“Oh. He drove me home after my car broke down. I called the mechanics and he showed up. My car was out so he offered me a lift home. I told him I was hanging out with Ellie and he drove me there.”

He let out a sigh of relief. “I’m sorry I misjudged the situation.”

“Tyler, I was still hung up on you. There’s no way I’d go with anyone else.”

“Was?” He grinned and cocked his brows.

“Am. You should have spoken to me about what you thought you saw.”

“I know. I regret that I didn’t. It’s been hell thinking you moved on with someone else.”

“Well, you don’t have to worry about that anymore.” I settled back into him and the warmness of his chest resonated through my entire body. “Why me?”

“What do you mean?”

“You’ve been doing the whole one-night stands until you met me. What changed?”

“Summer, I’ve been scared to get close to anyone fearing they would leave like my dad left my mom and me. When we first met, I was attracted to you. Then we became friends, and we would flirt, I got to know you. I knew it was more than a simple physical attraction. There was something there and I couldn’t fight it. I didn’t want to fight it.”

“Then why did you break it off?”

“Because I was scared about how I felt. I needed some time to think. To try and understand what was happening to me.”

I lifted my head to meet his kind eyes before my fingers ran through his hair. After stealing a kiss, Tyler flipped me over, so he landed on top of me. “Gorgeous.”

“So, I guess you can message me now at 3:30 in the mornings.”

“No need if you’re with me every night.”

A smile crept on my lips. “I have to admit, I’ve missed having you next to me.”

“So have I. Why do you think I couldn’t sleep since we broke up? Why I dozed off on the plane next to you, and why I was able to sleep last night with you in my arms.”

I grasped the back of his neck and drew him to me. “Tell me what you want, Tyler.”

“I want you, and only you.”

“I want you too.”

“That’s my girl,” he whispered.

“I’m your girl again?”

“You’ll always be my girl.”

Tyler and I were seated on the plane on our way home. I had sat down after making a trip to the bathroom. “So, there’s one good thing about work finding out about us.”

“Really? What’s that?”

“We can go on that trip to Hawaii without raising suspicion.”

He drew his eyes together. “You want me to go with you?”

“Well, I was hoping to take Finlay with me to make you jealous seeing as though you told me you were up at 3:30 in the morning thinking about him, but he was busy and suggested I take you instead.”

“I knew telling you that would bite me on the ass one day.”

“Well, it’s only fair since you bit me on mine.”

He leaned in and whispered against my neck. “Do you blame me? Your ass is perfect and juicy and God, I’m getting hard thinking about it.”

I couldn’t help but chuckle, even though his words had triggered a wetness between my legs. “Easy tiger. We can’t do anything on the plane.”

“We can’t,” Tyler grinned before he removed his belt strap. “But I can.”

My mouth gaped open. “Are you kidding me? You’re seriously going to go into the bathroom to jerk yourself off thinking about me?”

“Of course not,” he chortled. “I’ll be thinking of Finlay.”

I kicked my neck back and laughed a little too loudly that a few people turned to us. “I can’t believe you.”

“I’ll be back.” He winked and stood from his seat.

I immediately caught gaze of his erection. I bit my lip before he walked away. My thighs clenched while I waited for him to return. “You’re such a tease,” I pouted.

He sat down and smirked. “I know.”

“You couldn’t wait till tonight?”

“Wanna hang out tonight?”

“What do you think?” I smiled, and the fire in my cheeks could have burned the plane mid-air.

“Yell yeah, I want to.”

I leaned in and whispered to him. “So, what were you thinking about in there?”

“Your mouth around my cock.”

Fuck.

The throbbing in between my legs intensified. “You really like tempting me, don’t you?”

“I do.”

“You’ll pay for that.”

His eyes gazed towards my mouth before he pressed his lips onto mine. “I know I will,” he beamed. “And I can’t wait to see what you’re going to do to me.”
