32b. - A Love Like This Pt. 2
Kiara squeezed her eyes shut before slowly opening them. A light breeze rippled around her as the sound of her name being called got louder.
“Kiara! Sweetie, get up!”
Kiara rubbed the fog from her eyes as she struggled to sit up in what felt like…
As she adjusted to her surroundings she noticed a strange bright blazing blue sun high in a sky with no clouds. Just stars. She could hear the sound of an ocean that left no water print on the sand. She grasped at her chest where she had felt the pain of her heart being ripped out, but there was nothing.
“Kiara!” the voice shouted again. She looked to the side at two people walking towards her.
“...Mom? Dad?” She quickly stood to her feet and ran towards them as they pulled her into a large embrace. “Mom! Dad!” she cried as she hugged them tightly. She felt she had cried enough, and yet the tears still came. Her mom pulled back and stroked her head. She could see the looks on their faces were both relieved and sad to see her.
“...you shouldn’t be here, Kiara...” DeAndre said sadly.
Kiara’s eyes shifted as she felt a horrible feeling in her gut. “I’m... I’m dead, aren’t I?” she asked, hesitantly. They both nodded and she immediately looked down. “It’s for the better... I completely lost control. I didn’t even feel like myself,” she said.
“Well... it’s all over now. You don’t have to worry anymore,” Candace said, hugging her.
Kiara looked around at the strange off-color beach. “Where are we? This isn’t heaven, is it? They have blue beaches in heaven?” Kiara asked, confused.
“No,” Candace laughed. “You’re in the In-Between.”
Kiara looked at her parents confused. “Why am I in the In-Between if I’m dead?” Candace and DeAndre both exchanged uncertain looks. Kiara twisted her mouth when suddenly she heard a familiar voice. She turned around and nearly screamed when she saw Leo and Alexander casually walking along the coast together. “ALEXANDER! LEO!” she screamed.
They both looked up at her at the same time. A huge smile painted Leo’s face as Alexander fondly tilted his head to the side. Kiara ran as fast she could, the sand picking up underneath her feet. Leo immediately caught her in his arms as she leaped up and nearly toppled him to the ground. “You guys are here?!” she squealed. She wrapped her arms tightly around Leo’s head as he squeezed her waist and chuckled into her chest.
“Yes, we’re here,” Alexander smirked, looking at her amused. Kiara slid down, out of Leo’s embrace before she was wrapped up in Alexander’s arms. Alexander nestled his face into her neck as he deeply inhaled with a sigh of relief. “It’s so good to feel you again, iubita mea,” he said softly.
She pulled back and looked at the two of them excitedly before her face fell. “I killed you,” she blurted. “I killed you both!”
“Technically, Alexander killed all of us,” Leo teased as his hands sat in his pants pockets.
“You agreed!” Alexander snapped as Leo laughed.
“But, it’s my fault,” Kiara said quickly. “I gave you guys an ultimatum. I’m so sorry! I thought... I didn’t know that-”
“It’s not your fault, Angel. Stop apologizing,” Leo said, taking her hand. He pulled her into his arms again. Kiara wiped a tear before it could escape as she leaned against Leo’s chest. She looked at Alexander who had a tinge of guilt on his face.
“We didn’t want to...” Alexander said regretfully.
“I’m glad you did,” she smiled at him. “You guys know me better than anyone else. You know how it would have broken me if I hurt anyone. I’ve… I’ve never felt a love like this before... what the two of you have for me... how you sacrificed yourselves for me... it’s... surreal. You could have just killed me and lived.”
“What is life without you, Kiara?” Alexander asked.
“Not one that I want to live,” Leo said, pulling back to look at her. “Not worth living if you’re not in it.”
“A love like this does not perish... with our bodies...” she said confused. “A love like this never dies… Why the heck does that sound so familiar? Is that a song I heard on the radio or something?”
“You still listen to the radio?” Leo joked.
“Shut up,” she said, pinching him.
Alexander chuckled as he grabbed her hand. “Come with me. I want you guys to meet some very important people.” Alexander led Kiara and Leo across the beach to two women in beautiful white dresses. They were talking to each other before the youngest one’s eyes widened.
“ALEXANDER! She’s so pretty!!!” Anastasia squealed. Alexander’s youngest sister ran towards Kiara and tackled her to the ground with an intense hug.
“Goodness, Ana... You’re going to scare the poor girl away,” Malina chuckled. His twin sister looked up at Alexander and smirked. “You did good brother.” She glanced at Leo and eyed him approvingly from head to toe. “But, I didn’t know you swung both ways.”
Alexander’s eyes bulged as Leo started choking. “No, no, Malina! It’s not like that!” Alexander said quickly with his hands up.
“Oh come on, Alexander, there’s nothing wrong with two men being in love with each other. What is it they say back on earth again? Love is love? I support it,” Malina grinned.
Leo covered his face in embarrassment as Alexander fumbled over his words. “I’m not in love with him! I mean I do love him like... a brother or something I...” Alexander muttered.
“You love me?!” Leo blurted.
“AWWWWW!!!” Kiara and Anastasia squealed at the same time.
“This is the cutest shit I’ve ever seen,” Malina grinned.
“Fucking hell,” Alexander groaned.
“Are you allowed to curse in heaven?” Anastasia asked.
“This isn’t heaven, Ana,” Malina said, shaking her head.
Kiara couldn’t help but laugh at how flustered and embarrassed both Alexander and Leo looked. She turned to Alexander’s sisters and smiled brightly. “I’m so glad I got to meet both of you. Alexander didn’t talk about his family often,” Kiara said.
“Why’s that, Alexander?” Malina teased. “Afraid to admit how many times Ana and I beat you at futbol?”
“That’s not why... Malina...” Alexander sighed with regret as his eyes fell.
Anastasia and Malina exchanged looks before they both walked to Alexander’s side, each grabbing an arm. “You know that we don’t blame you, right?” Malina said.
“It wasn’t your fault,” Anastasia added. “You were always a good brother to us, Alexander. You took such good care of us. You protected us.”
“A pain in my ass,” Malina teased. “But... a perfect twin...”
“We love you, frate,” Anastasia said, hugging him tightly. Alexander felt a tear slip down his cheek as he opened his arms and hugged his sisters into his embrace. A smile came to Leo’s face as he watched Alexander with his sisters.
“Now just what in the hell are you doing here?”
Leo glanced over his shoulder and his eyes widened in shock. “PA?! Shit, Ma?!”
“Watch your language around your mother,” Vadim snickered as Leo bulldozed him with a ferocious hug. Natasha smiled happily and squealed as her son lifted her into the air out of pure excitement. “Damn, you got big,” Vadim said with a grin and a heavy hand on Leo’s shoulder.
Leo’s cheeks were already wet from his tears but the huge grin on his face was most prominent as his mother took his face between his hands. “I’ve missed you,” Leo choked out, looking into his mother’s eyes.
“I’ve missed you too, Leonardo,” Natasha said, tenderly kissing his cheek.
“Ma, there’s someone I want you to meet,” Leo said, looking at Kiara.
Kiara immediately panicked. “Oh crap,” she said to herself. “Is he really about to introduce me to his parents in freaking heaven?! I mean we’re both dead! What the heck?!”
“Ma. Pa... this is Kiara,” Leo said proudly. “My-”
“Your mate,” Vadim said, eyeing Kiara with a grin. “We know who she is.”
“Uh... nice to meet you... Mr. and Mrs. Volkov. Or is it Alpha Volkov? Mrs. Alpha Volkov? Oh wait, Nick is Alpha. Grandpa Alpha Volkov? Is that a thing? Oh god, I’m sorry. I meant-” Kiara stammered nervously.
“Angel, relax,” Leo laughed heartily.
“She’s cute,” Vadim grinned.
“She’s beautiful,” Natasha smiled brightly. She wrapped her arms around an embarrassed Kiara. “You were right, Leonardo.”
“I tell you, when my boys set a goal, they stick to it till they get it done,” Vadim said, eyeing Kiara. “Did you propose yet?”
“What about children?” Natasha added. Kiara nearly fell over as Leo shook his head.
“Did you guys forget we’re dead?” Leo asked.
“You’re in the In-Between. That’s for a reason,” Candace said, walking towards them.
“Hey Candace,” Natasha said, hugging her.
Kiara looked at her mom and Leo’s mom confused. “Wait... you guys know each other?”
“It’s not like we have a lot to do, Kiara!” DeAndre joked.
“Yea, it can get kind of boring sometimes,” Malina said.
“Okay... So, I’m guessing there’s a reason you’re all here and not...” Kiara said, confused. “I just don’t understand. Why are we in the In-Between and not, you know...”
“Because you don’t belong here,” Evangeline’s voice came. Alexander felt a warm sensation flood his body as he saw Evangeline and Melissa walking towards them hand-in-hand.
“Hi, Kiara...” Melissa said softly. Kiara felt her words caught in her throat, not knowing what to say.
“Let’s give them a minute,” Vadim said as he pushed Leo and Natasha away.
“Alexander, introduce me to these lovely women,” Evangeline smiled. She grabbed his hand as they walked off with Malina and Anastasia. Candace and DeAndre stood to the side as Kiara had a hard time looking Melissa in the eye.
“Kiara...” Melissa started.
“You used me!” Kiara blurted before she quickly lowered her head. “...sorry...”
“No, I’m the one who should be sorry,” Melissa said. “You’re right... I did use you. I was bitter, angry... I wanted revenge.”
Kiara sighed. “I understand Melissa... You were hurt...”
“That doesn’t justify my hurting you,” Melissa said. Kiara looked up at her surprised before she gave a small smile. “I hope you can forgive me.”
“Of course, I forgive you,” Kiara said. “We’re family. I mean I’m dead though so it’s not like it makes much of a difference unless they got IOUs in heaven,” she chuckled nervously. Melissa looked at her curiously and Kiara quickly fixed her face. “Sorry... I’m the only one who finds me funny.”
“Clearly,” Melissa smirked.
“Damn, Melissa! How are you shading me in HEAVEN?!” Kiara laughed.
“This isn’t heaven, Kiara! How many times do I have to say it?!” Candace shouted from the side.
“See... this is how I know we’re all related,” Kiara smirked as Melissa laughed out loud.
“Your mother’s right,” Melissa said. “You’re in the In-Between because you don’t belong here. It’s not your time.”
Kiara looked at her confused. “What does that mean?”
“I hold myself responsible for your life, Kiara,” Melissa said. “You were put in a position you should have never been in. And because of me, you lost your life... as well as the lives of your lovers.” Kiara glanced at Alexander and Leo still talking and laughing with their families. “I never thought I’d see another love like the one Evangeline and I have for each other,” Melissa said. “Until I saw how Leo and Alexander... loved you.”
Kiara looked at Melissa who was smiling fondly at her. “What you guys have is special, Kiara. A love like yours is... unique. And you deserve to live a long and happy life with them.”
“But how?” Kiara asked.
Melissa held Kiara’s hands in her own. “The reason why our line of witches is so powerful, Kiara, is because we are of the phoenix bloodline. It’s rare and can only be harnessed by very few witches, but the power of rebirth runs in our veins. You can be reborn, Kiara... and sequentially bring back Alexander and Leo as well.”
“That’s sick!” Kiara blurted. “I had no idea that was a thing!”
“But be wary, Kiara,” Melissa said quickly. “With rebirth comes... changes. This is a power that should not be taken lightly. Things may be a bit different for you after this. Do you understand?”
Kiara looked at her surprised and slowly shook her head. “Why didn’t you use it for yourself when you died?” Kiara asked.
Melissa glanced at Evangeline. “Because I didn’t think there was a life worth coming back to...” Evangeline glanced back at Melissa to see her watching her and instinctively smiled. “Before you return,” Melissa said, getting Kiara’s attention. “I must remind you that you have to break the blood bond to William or the Blackbournes will be imprisoned to him unto death.”
“How do I do that?” Kiara asked.
“Since it’s a blood bond, they need something else to tether to,” Melissa advised.
Kiara pondered before she nodded. “Alright, I got it.”
“Of course you do,” Melissa grinned. “You’re already one of the most powerful witches there is, Kiara. And you’ll do great things. I’m so proud of you.”
Kiara beamed as she rushed her and hugged her tight. “I love you, Melissa. And I hope you and Evangeline can finally be happy together.”
Melissa felt startled at this form of affection she had never received from family before. She slowly wrapped her arms around Kiara and hugged her back.
“I love you too, Kiara...”
Cole’s blood-red eyes followed the college girls in their short miniskirts and ankle boots as they giggled loudly, totally unaware of the predator eyeing their every move. He followed them, waiting until they got closer before he stepped out in front of them. The two girls looked at him startled, as a wave of fear rushed over them. They took a step back.
“Did I say you could leave?” he snapped at them. They immediately stayed frozen in their tracks. “Come here,” he demanded.
They slowly walked towards him as if in a trance, their eyes locked with his. They could see his fangs descending as he licked them in anticipation. He quickly grabbed one of them by the neck as the other went screaming in the other direction. He opened his mouth wide, ready to bite before he went flying backward.
Ava ran towards the crying girl who had fallen to the floor upon Cole’s release. “Are you alright?” Ava asked. The girl nodded frantically as she wiped her face. “Go home, okay?” Ava said, rubbing the girl’s shoulders. The girl quickly scrambled to her feet and took off.
Cole growled. “FUCKING WITCH!” Ava glanced at him and sighed as she stood to her feet. “Do you see me walking into your fucking house and grabbing your little plate of vegan shit?!” Cole snapped angrily at her.
“You couldn’t walk into my house anyway because you’re not invited,” Ava said sarcastically.
Cole snickered condescendingly before he flashed in front of her and violently grabbed her by the neck. “You think you’re so fucking funny, witch?” he snarled in her face. “You think you’re big tough shit because you can make leaves float in the fucking air?!”
Ava looked into Cole’s deep blood-red eyes. She knew he was trying to scare her. But at most, she could see his pain. “Cole...” she said softly. “I know that you’re hurting... But lashing out at innocent people isn’t going to bring Alexander back...”
Cole looked at her caught off guard and completely offended. He tossed her to the ground and backed away from her. “Fuck you!” he snarled at her.
Ava slowly exhaled. She watched Cole pace angrily as he ran his fingers frantically through his long, ombre hair. “I understand how you’re feelin-” she started.
“No the fuck you don’t!” Cole shouted at her. “You think just because we had a fucking moment in the damn car to New York all of a sudden you know shit about me?!”
“I didn’t say tha-”
“HE WAS MY FUCKING BROTHER!” Cole snarled at her.
Ava swallowed hard as her eyes followed Cole. “And Leo was my brother, Cole. Kiara was like a little sister to me. Alexander has saved me on countless occasions. I know what it feels like to lose someone that you love. I’m... I’m hurting too...”
Cole stopped pacing and glanced at Ava who was staring at the ground. He didn’t understand why he suddenly felt the small pang of regret. “How did you find me?” he asked her.
She looked at him and hesitated. “I’ve been checking up on everyone. Peter said you were... out... I only took that to mean you were doing something you shouldn’t be.”
“What are you my fucking babysitter now?”
Ava leaned back against the tree and sighed. “If I have to be to keep you from feeding on innocent people.”
“Listen, Hermione. I don’t need your witchy kumbaya shit telling me how to fucking cope. I’m a bloody vampire. I’ll do whatever the fuck I want.”
“Well then, do it another time,” Ava said. “I understand that you’re grieving, but you still have two other brothers who need you. So you can stay out here acting like you’re Jack the Ripper, or you can set your selfishness aside and go home to be there for your family.”
Cole looked at her shocked by her audacity. He rushed in front of her and snarled with a fully transformed face of blood-red eyes, sunken cheeks, and a wide mouth full of sharp teeth. Ava looked up at him, taking in his features.
“Are you done?” she asked with a monotone voice.
His face morphed back to its normal form. He stepped back and shoved his hands into his pockets. “Whatever...” he muttered.
Levi sat at the end of the couch of Marshala’s living room with Rhea seated in his lap. Wrapping his arm tightly around her waist, he pushed his face into her side and kissed her comfortingly. He couldn’t remember if she ever stopped crying since Kiara, Alexander, and Leo died.
“...I just can’t believe it...” Rhea choked out. She covered her face, completely distraught.
“I know, princess...” Levi sighed with remorse as he stroked her thigh.
Rhea pulled her hand away from her face and looked out the window. “All my life... I’ve been terrified of vampires,” Rhea said. “Not a night has gone by where I haven’t seen my father’s head being torn from his body... hearing my mother’s cries... and I could do... nothing...” Levi’s hand squeezed Rhea’s waist comfortingly as he listened to her speak. “But that’s not Alexander...” she said softly.
Levi looked up at her surprised. “He loved her, Levi... like... really loved her. After what happened to my parents... to my people... I didn’t think their kind was capable of such a thing. But they’re different. The Blackbournes. They’re... good people..”
“... they’re alright...” Levi muttered. Rhea looked down at him with tear-filled eyes and chuckled. He tilted his head up as she lowered her mouth to his and grabbed his face between her hands.
Elijah walked into the room carrying Peter. He stopped when he saw Levi and Rhea kissing. “Oh... my apologies. I did not mean to intrude,” Elijah said.
“It’s alright,” Rhea said quickly. She looked at Elijah who gave her a sympathetic look. “I’m sorry...” Rhea said. “About...”
“I am too,” Elijah said. Nothing else needed to be said as they understood exactly how the other felt. Rhea glanced at Peter whose face was still stained with his blood tears.
“Peter, do you want me to help you wash up?” Rhea asked, standing from Levi’s lap. Peter nodded as Elijah put him down. He walked over to Rhea who took his hand and led him into Marshala’s kitchen.
“He wasn’t with you when you guys were...” Levi said to Elijah.
Elijah looked at Levi startled. “Oh! Goodness, no. We... we finished before Ava... dropped him off to go look for Cole...”
Levi nodded as he glanced awkwardly at the ground. “Sorry... Marshala is kinda loud.”
Elijah felt himself flush over. He and Nick had no concern for how loud Marshala was when they made love to her. He might have felt differently if he had known they weren’t alone in her house which had quickly become a place of refuge during everyone’s grieving.
“It’s not a big deal,” Levi said, almost as if reading Elijah’s thoughts. “Leo and Kiara were worse... much worse. I really don’t know how you guys do it. This... three-person relationship shit.”
“It’s actually a lot easier than you’d expect,” Elijah chuckled. “Once you start putting her first, the rest comes naturally. Alexander and Leo taught Nicholas and me that. Our feud was unimportant. What mattered to us... was Marshala.”
“Leo taught you that?” Levi said surprised. “Damn... wouldn’t have imagined. I could never share Rhea. And I didn’t take Leo as the type of guy who would share his mate either. But then... he’s always been the better of us in the pack. A bit impulsive... rambunctious. Hot-headed... but so are all Volkovs. It’s in our blood.” Levi smiled fondly as a tear slipped down his cheek. “I’m gonna miss the shit out of him. He wasn’t just my cousin, he was my best friend. I don’t know what I’ll do without him...”
“Shit, Levi. Why couldn’t you show me this kind of love when I was alive?” Leo said, walking into Marshala’s living room with Alexander and Kiara behind him. “Like really, bro, my ass had to DIE for you to actually say you love me?! I HAD TO DIE, LEVI?!”
“LEO!!” Levi blurted in shock. He rushed at his cousin and gave him an intense bear hug as he lifted him off of the ground.
Alexander chuckled before he looked at Elijah who stared back at him in shock. A red blood tear slipped down his cheek as no words escaped his mouth. “...Alexander...?” Elijah finally choked out. Elijah instantaneously appeared in front of Alexander as he pulled him in for a hug. “Alexander!”
Levi wrapped Kiara in a tight hug and she squealed. “Oh my god, Levi, too tight! You gone kill me again!”
“That’s not funny!” Levi said, putting her down.
“Kinda...” she chuckled. Leo gave her an unamused look. “Okay, maybe not.”
“Kiara!” Elijah blurted, hugging Kiara next. “I can’t believe it!”
“KIARA?!” Rhea and Peter both screamed as they ran into the living room. Rhea still held a wet cloth in her hand and Peter’s face was wet with water.
“Oh my god, too many hugs!” Kiara squealed with laughter as Rhea nearly tackled her to the ground.
“Ugh... Peter, why is your face wet,” Alexander muffled as Peter smothered his face with a tight hug.
Marshala and Nick walked down the stairs to see what all the commotion was about. Marshala screamed at the top of her lungs when she saw Kiara. “Oh no!” Kiara said, bracing herself as Marshala charged at her like a raging bull. “Don’t hurt me, I’m fragile!”
“KIARA!” Marshala screamed excitedly.
Nick was already pulling Leo into his arms as his body quaked with his sobs. “Holy fucking shit, Leo,” Nick said as he nearly suffocated Leo with his embrace.
“Nick, I can’t breathe,” Leo muffled into his shoulder.
“Shut the fuck up and let me hug you, dammit! Do you know what I just went through?!” Nick said as he held his brother tightly. “Goddammit, Leo!” Marshala had just finished hugging Alexander before she tackled Leo next.
“You look like you’ve just seen a ghost,” Kiara chuckled at Nick who was staring at her. “Get it? Cause... we died...”
“You couldn’t keep your horrible jokes in the afterlife or wherever the hell it is you just emerged from?” Nick grinned as he pulled her into his arms.
“You know what...” Kiara muttered.
“Okay, has everyone got out their hugs?!” Marshala said quickly. “Because I have questions!”
“Can I have a snack first?” Kiara asked.
“NO!” everyone shouted.
“Damn... You guys know there’s no eating in heaven, right? I’m famished,” Kiara sighed.
“Angel... baby... how many times now? It was not heaven,” Leo chuckled as Rhea latched onto him, hugging him like a koala bear.
“We came from this place called the In-Between,” Alexander explained. He grabbed Kiara’s hand and sat down on the couch.
“The In-Between,” Marshala nodded. “Yes, we know that place very well. It’s where our ancestors would often meet us if we ever made a connection. And you saw Melissa there?”
Kiara nodded. “Evangeline was there too. And Alexander’s sisters. And Leo’s parents.”
Nick looked at Leo surprised. “...You... you saw Pops? And Ma?”
Leo smiled. “They wanted me to tell you that they love you... They asked me how you were doing as Alpha. I said you could be doing better.”
“Asshole,” Nick grinned as Leo laughed.
“How did you guys get back here?” Marshala asked Kiara.
Kiara looked between Leo and Alexander who both nodded for her to tell them. “Melissa told me that... well... our family is part of the phoenix bloodline. And so... I kinda... brought myself back? And Leo and Alexander just tagged along,” she chuckled lightly.
Everyone looked at her startled. “You’re a phoenix witch?” Rhea asked, surprised. “How the heck did we not know this?!”
“Marshala?” Elijah asked, looking at her.
“I had no idea,” Marshala said with her hands up. “I mean there were rumors, but none of the LaFleurs came back to life when they died, so we kind of wrote it off.”
“It’s fine. I’m kind of used to being the black sheep at this point,” Kiara smiled. Leo wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her close. “But Melissa gave me a few tips on how to learn to control my powers. Marshala... do you mind if we practice together?”
“Of course not, Kiara,” Marshala beamed.
“Where’s Cole?” Alexander asked, looking around.
“Well... when you died... he sort of...” Elijah started.
“He went mad,” Peter said.
“Oh no...” Alexander groaned. He got up from the couch and headed towards the door. “I have to find him before he does something stup-” Alexander opened the door to meet Cole’s disgruntled face. Cole’s blue eyes immediately widened in shock.
“YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE!” Cole growled angrily as he roughly shoved Alexander back. Alexander stumbled back and looked up at Cole’s pained face. “HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN HERE?!” Cole shouted at him.
“I just got here-” Alexander started.
“DON’T YOU EVER FUCKING LEAVE ME AGAIN! HOW DARE YOU?! YOU SON OF A BITCH!” Cole stormed to Alexander and grabbed him roughly by the back of his neck as he pulled him in for a violent hug. “I swear I oughta beat the shit out of you making me look like a fucking pussy in front of all these goddamn people,” Cole muttered into Alexander’s shoulder as he held him tight.
“You do a fine job of that all by yourself, Cole,” Alexander smiled.
“Fuck you, Alexander.” Cole pulled back and looked at his brother in the eyes. His face was already stained with blood. “Don’t ever leave me like that again. I fucking mean it.”
“I got it,” Alexander smiled as he grabbed Cole’s shoulder comfortingly.
Cole glanced at everyone staring at them before he caught Kiara and Ava hugging. “Aw, Cole,” Kiara squeaked.
“Don’t ‘aw’ me, little thing,” Cole smirked. “You’re the one who went batshit crazy.”
“The rudeness,” Kiara sighed as she walked over to him. “If you wanted a hug, all you had to do was ask.”
“I really don’-” Cole started as Kiara wrapped her arms around his waist.
“Don’t you feel better?” Kiara said.
“This shit is gross,” Cole muttered.
Kiara chuckled as she turned to face everyone again. “I know this is all a bit much... but I need you to take me to William. I know how to break the blood bond.”
