The beginning
Leah POV
A few days later I walk into my room grabbing the last box I own, taking a deep breath I look around the room. Memories flood my brain as my eyes skate over ever book and cranny, “I’m going to miss this room,” I whisper aloud as I begin to turn on my heel. ‘Me to Leah but, we are starting a new chapter in our lives.” Cassie whispers back causing me to internally nod. ‘I know,’ I whisper back as I walk out of my room, with my box in my hands.
As soon as I get downstairs Melody comes running over to me, giggling loudly as she latches onto my legs. “Dada tickles,” she says pointing towards the kitchen. I look up to see Kai walking towards us with a smile on his face, “she stole my cookie,” he says causing me to let out a chuckle. He walks over to me placing a gentle kiss against my forehead, “you ready?” He says with a smile on his face. Melody looks up at me letting out another giggle, as I look between the pair of them, my heart swells in happiness as I look back at Kai, “definitely,” I say with a smile on my face.
