Chapter 38

My heart was pounding out of my chest as I turned around and faced Jack. He was standing up from his desk as he came around toward me.

He slid a finger over my arm as he stared down at me, not saying a word.

“Jack,” I breathed, begging him to stop before he even began. The old Taylor would jump Jack’s bones, missing his hands on me, but she was gone. The new Taylor didn’t need or want to use her body to get what she wanted anymore.

“You’re a mess.” He grabbed my hand and pulled me toward the back of his office. “There’s a box of lost and found over here. You’re welcome to get out of those wet, stained clothes.” He pulled a box out and set it on the table for me to go through.

There were old sweaters with our school logo on the front and a pair of men's black sweatpants. I really did want to get out of these clothes. They were sticking to me and it felt nasty, but there was no way I was dressing in front of him.

I grabbed up the items I wanted and went to leave.

“We’re not through here, Taylor. Get dressed in here.” He held up his hands when I glared at him. “I promise not to look.” He spun around and gave me very little privacy. He might not be looking directly at me, but he was still right there. Whatever. It’s not like he’s never seen me naked before.

I turned my back to him and started stripping out of my soaked clothes. My bra was just as sticky and gross as my shirt and I internally cursed as I snapped my bra off and let it fall to the floor. My nipples perked from the cool air in the room as I quickly reached for the sweater.

But I couldn’t get it on before I felt Jack step up behind me and wrap his arms around me. He cupped my breasts and pinched my nipples between his fingers as he buried his face in my neck and nibbled me.

“Mmm, I’ve missed this,” he purred, “Did you miss me?”

I squeezed my eyes shut and tried to force my body to listen to my mind and not my libido. Excitement raced through my veins and straight between my legs where a small ache greeted me. It had been almost two weeks since Damon had left and I haven’t been with a guy since. My body was craving that now and I hated it.

He released one of his hands from my breast and everything happened so quickly. The sound of his zipper echoed behind me and then he was grabbing my hand to shove into his pants. I instinctively wrapped my fingers around his dick as I kept my eyes shut and tried to figure out a way out of this.

“Fuck,” he hissed into my ear as his hips thrust his dick in my hand.

All the memories of fucking Jack came back into my mind and even though it was hot as hell, I couldn’t and wouldn’t do this again.

“Jack,” I whispered, “We can’t.” I pulled my hand from his pants and stepped away from him.

But he grabbed me and spun me to face him before he pinned me up against the table and lifted me onto it. He leaned forward and wrapped his mouth around my nipple before his hand went between my legs and rubbed against my clit.

I threw my head back and let out a moan. I totally didn’t mean to, but fuck my body was on fire. His thumb circled over my aching clit and I was panting, but then I pulled all the strength I had from within and shoved him away roughly.

“I said no!”

He held up his hands in surrender and stepped back.

“Hey, I’m sorry- I just thought you were still cool with this.” He ran a hand through his perfect salt and pepper hair as he stared over at me. “I didn’t mean to make you feel uncomfortable.”

“It’s not you, Jack,” I hissed, “The old Taylor would fuck you stupid on your desk, but I’m changing who I am. I can’t do this anymore.” I pulled the sweater over my head and didn’t bother putting on the sweatpants. I needed to get the hell out of here before I lost it.

I ran from his office and tried with everything I had not to break down in tears.
